“Two Wrasslin’ Cats! What a fun and amazing place! Tucked away in the beautiful countryside in East Haddam, we found a sweet, colorful café that’s all about cats… but actually, it’s about so much more. To sum it up in a word, Two Wrasslin Cats is about love, love for all people, love for equality peace, and freedom, love of good food AND love for cats! I mean… they had me at cats, the rest? Merely an amazing bonus! We started out in the café, a fun, eclectic space decorated with cat memorabilia and a menu of cat-themed homemade, gourmet sandwiches. This is not your junky pre-made stuff! The sandwiches were fresh and delicious. My veggie wrap was full of fresh flavorful roasted veggies and my friend had a great tuna sandwich. Our coffee drinks were expertly crafted and not too sweet. We came for the cats, but we really enjoyed the food! After lunch, we waited a few minutes to get in to visit with the cats, a gorgeous family of six littermate siblings that have grown up together at Two Wrasslin’ Cats. These kitties know their role is to be calm and chill and to welcome pets and indulgence from strangers and they do it very well! What nice, sweet, peaceful felines. It was a pleasure to meet each one. We got a chance to speak with the owner about his beautiful and unique mission and his passion shines through with every word. What a pleasure. Guests are asked to make a donation when they visit the kitties and the money goes to help spay and neuter feral cats in the local area - a great cause. Our visit to Two Wrasslin Cats was great fun. If you’re in the area, definitely stop by for lunch and some quality time with the kitties. While you’re there, drop a little extra in the donation box to help further this fabulous mission.“

“Very enjoyable outside setting at Belle Vie! Just lovely. From the friendly staff whom immediacy greeted us upon arrival to tbe owner who made a special trip outdoors after personally cooking our crepes in the kitchen. We tried their chicken pesto crepe w/ tomato and spinach- absolutely delicious ! And also the salmon, cream cheese, tomato, caper, red onion crepe. Yum! We also sampled their lattes both hot and cold brew and a marvelous bacon cheddar biscuit warmed up and buttered ! They have sweet crepes as well and many non- crepe options. This Cafe will not disappoint! A beautiful menu with many selections of fresh, health conscious choices as well as some slightly more indulgent pasterie options! “Cozy sandwich shop that offers breakfast and lunch sandwiches. I only like doing a Google review if the spot hits. My friends and I got the western breakfast sandwich, a hash brown and egg on a hard roll, and a tuna salad sandwich. We also got a raspberry chocolate and Vermont maple iced coffees that tasted exactly like their names! The sandwiches were so fresh and the tuna salad slapped it was so good!!!! The lady running the shop was very nice and was fast in making the food. We could see her making it and everything looked fresh and the kitchen was very clean. Highly recommend this little gem as we stopped in on the way down to Clinton outlets.“

“The best DD on i95 exit 63 in Connecticut near the Clinton Factory Outlets. The employees are very friendly and professional too. Always smiling. Bathroom very clean. Eat-in is favorable. Ample and super clean parking lots. Next door is ColdStone icecream... yummy. If you need emergency repairs on your phone, there is AT&T. The employees are superb. You could fix vacuum cleaners at Orec. If you are traveling with pets.. YES.. Petco is here too.. the employees know what they are doing.. and next door is Mattress Firm.. been there many times.. made me sleepy.

“I work close by so I am at Cilantro several times a week... and as a self-proclaimed "foodie" I highly recommend this local hot spot for delicious coffee, super tasty chicken salad, raspberry/almond scones, "yoga" cookies, matcha cookies & their peanut butter/ coconut bites! I also frequently get their matcha or golden milk lattes, both are masterfully made & delicious either hot or cold!! I usually see Helen, but everyone there is also as friendly as she is and on-point with my order. Their in-store grocery treats and savory goodies are a delightful hand-picked selection that reminds regulars & travelers why they're a favorite local business & one to support and visit often!!“

“I pulled into a Dunkin Donuts right off of 95 early on a Sunday morning March 11, 2018. I had started my trip back to Virginia after an Emergency visit to my mom at the Middlesex Hospital. A dummy light on my dashboard indicated I had low tire pressure. The Toyota Dealership next door to the Dunkin was Closed. I had not had breakfast yet so I sought out the Dunkin. The employees there were THE BEST. While this very personable young lady took my order, she listened to my trouble and immediately tried to assist me all she could by finding out if the Toyota Dealership was open today and if so at what time. It wasn't, so she started contacting other people she knew who could help me with my tire issue. The young man prepared my food order. The latte was Great and the Breakfast Sandwich was perfect. The Store Manager went out In The Cold with a Tire Pressure gauge and located the tire that was low. She asked the service station attendant to assist me with Air for the tire. I was able to put air in the tire and continue home on my trip. My local Toyota dealership confirmed I had a Nail in That tire. My day could have been miserable, but these Young People stepped up and Turned it around. Thank you so much for ALL your help!! They should all be commended.“
