From the friendly staff whom immediacy greeted us upon arrival to tbe owner who made a special trip outdoors after personally cooking our crepes in the kitchen. We tried their chicken pesto crepe w/ tomato and spinach- absolutely delicious ! And also the salmon, cream cheese, tomato, caper, red onion crepe. Yum! We also sampled their lattes both hot and cold brew and a marvelous bacon cheddar biscuit warmed up and buttered ! They have sweet crepes as well and many non- crepe options. This Cafe will not disappoint! A beautiful menu with many selections of fresh, health conscious choices as well as some slightly more indulgent pasterie options! ( and a few more diet aware pastries as well! ) Belle Vie Cafe has everything you need! … And with a great vibe , too!!! Give it a go. You could fix vacuum cleaners at Orec. If you are traveling with pets.. YES.. “I recently moved to the area (family has lived here for decades, so I am aware of Beach Donut from my visits, but now I can go anytime!!!) and went to Beach Donut the very first morning here after my drive across the country. I have lived here about 4 months, and I go here perhaps 2x a week. They have a great selection of donuts, coffee, tea, sandwiches, etc, but I only order one donut per stop, and take it home to eat. I try to order a new/different one each time, so I have now had one of most different donuts. Service is always great. Donuts are just $2 each, with some specialty things (apple fritters, cinnamon rolls, etc) up to $5 each. I have ordered donuts that I honestly thought I would not like - I think I was challenging Beach Donut to disappoint me after so many home runs! Anyway, I have fun 'rating system' for donuts. There is my 'favorites' list, my 'OK' list, my 'meh' list, and my 'never-again' list. Of the 20-25 different donut flavors that I have tried, this place skews the grading system - EVERYTHING (except for one - later) is on my 'favorites' list. I kid you not. The one that ended up on my 'meh' list was the cinnamon roll. I will never order it again - not because it was bad, but because you can't go wrong with any of the others instead. I have 2 favorite-favorites: The $5 apple fritter and the $2 chocolate glazed. $5 for a fritter seems a little high, on the surface of it all, but when you see this and eat this you will understand that it is worth every penny. If I have ANY complaint about the fritter, it is that the darned things are TOO BIG. There is no way a normal human (See my moniker????? I am USED to eating challenges and usually win.) can eat one of these in a single sitting. But they are THE MOST apple-y fritter I have ever had. Simply awesome!\n\nIf you are in the area some morning, give this place a try. The donuts rival those from Emily's Bakery in Westbrook which closed decades ago, but set an impossibly high 'donut bar'. Tell them Fatso says 'hi'!!“

“Cozy sandwich shop that offers breakfast and lunch sandwiches. I only like doing a Google review if the spot hits. My friends and I got the western breakfast sandwich, a hash brown and egg on a hard roll, and a tuna salad sandwich. We also got a raspberry chocolate and Vermont maple iced coffees that tasted exactly like their names! The sandwiches were so fresh and the tuna salad slapped it was so good!!!! The lady running the shop was very nice and was fast in making the food. We could see her making it and everything looked fresh and the kitchen was very clean. Highly recommend this little gem as we stopped in on the way down to Clinton outlets.“

“I work close by so I am at Cilantro several times a week... and as a self-proclaimed "foodie" I highly recommend this local hot spot for delicious coffee, super tasty chicken salad, raspberry/almond scones, "yoga" cookies, matcha cookies & their peanut butter/ coconut bites! I also frequently get their matcha or golden milk lattes, both are masterfully made & delicious either hot or cold!! I usually see Helen, but everyone there is also as friendly as she is and on-point with my order. “I pulled into a Dunkin Donuts right off of 95 early on a Sunday morning March 11, 2018. I had started my trip back to Virginia after an Emergency visit to my mom at the Middlesex Hospital. A dummy light on my dashboard indicated I had low tire pressure. The Toyota Dealership next door to the Dunkin was Closed. I had not had breakfast yet so I sought out the Dunkin. The employees there were THE BEST. While this very personable young lady took my order, she listened to my trouble and immediately tried to assist me all she could by finding out if the Toyota Dealership was open today and if so at what time. It wasn't, so she started contacting other people she knew who could help me with my tire issue. The young man prepared my food order. The latte was Great and the Breakfast Sandwich was perfect. The Store Manager went out In The Cold with a Tire Pressure gauge and located the tire that was low. She asked the service station attendant to assist me with Air for the tire. I was able to put air in the tire and continue home on my trip. My local Toyota dealership confirmed I had a Nail in That tire. My day could have been miserable, but these Young People stepped up and Turned it around. Thank you so much for ALL your help!! They should all be commended.“

“Even though I was the only customer there at the time, the servers were efficient and did their job well. The only thing I was curious about, was no greeting.

I had to phone home to get some info for the order and within 4 minutes of placing it, the items was served. The food was decent and the quality was as expected considering the price.

Clean place with more than ample parking - I hope they do get good business. It's a few minutes off Rt 9, so it's worth the stop when you need to refresh. It definitely beats many city DD's I've visited due to the surroundings and space.“
