Loved the no MSG comments, and that soup, soda, or egg rolls were optional add-ons and not automatic. Swift friendly service, and sauces and utensils were easily available. Perfect size to eat while I waited for an order at Walmart pickup across the street.“

“Great food, friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere. Been here a number of times now and it's consistently great roast pork fried rice! Some places don't put enough vegetable or egg in, this restaurant hits the sweet spot in my opinion. I often take an extra order of it home. There's also a fountain and lots of plants in the eating area, gives a nice ambience.“

I googled Chinese food near me after I finished shopping and this place popped up first with great reviews so I said let’s give it a try. So glad I took the leap of faith!! “After seeing a movie down the street, my family and I came to Oriental Gourmet for dinner. There was plenty of seating and the restaurant had a classic, retro vibe. We were impressed that they had so many different Asian cuisines to choose from! For our first visit we stuck primarily to Chinese food, but it’s good to know they have sushi too. Almost every dish was good, but my mom didn’t really love her Mongolian beef and said it had a weird grittiness to it. Our server was attentive and they refilled our waters often. Not a bad spot!“

“I have tried afew places in Seymour. Picked up takeout tonight. General Tsao Chicken and shrimp, fried dumplings, fried rice and an egg roll. Everything was amazing and fresh. Vegetables in the dish fresh. Food was amazing and not bland. Way better than the other places I have tried in Seymour. Don't believe the negative reviews. This will be my new go to for Chinese food without a doubt.“

“I feel bad that when I order I'm sometimes not feeling well but the soup it's something about it because it always makes me feel better I've had there pork fried rice and there food is great. And the smile I get when I get my food that's customer service. The atmosphere to me it's like walking in to one of the restaurants in China town New York City where I grew up it's a great feeling like you never want to leave. Well for me this is my experience.“

The kids (15 year old and were eventually caught) got my vehicle, my wallet, all my work equipment, a brand new pair of Jordan sneakers I bought for my friend for his birthday. “I don’t want to be dramatic but they might have some of the best crab rangoons I’ve ever had. Either that or the place I’ve been getting mine from did a really bad job lol food arrived so warm, ordering was so easy. My son got the boneless spare rib platter which he raved about and i also got chicken wings aside from my crab Rangoon and them wings were HITTIN’ to the point i took out hot sauce and they were so flavorful i forgot all about the dang hot sauce. First time ordering from them and they def got themselves a repeat costumer now.“

“The shrimp used to be sizable, but lately, they have changed to regular sized shrimp. They're still very tasty but there are only four in a meal. A bit disappointing. I realize the cost of everything has risen lately, but I wonder if the extra large shrimp might never return even after the war subsides.“

“The best Golden fingers compared to others, it tastes and looks like actual chicken! Egg rolls and fried rice also always fresh and flavorful!! Staff is always friendly and orders always ready on time! Not my fav style for the crab Rangoon or the boneless spare ribs, but also not bad. I just prefer my rangoons more cream cheesy, but these were still really good. Soft center crispy outside perfectly cooked and not too greasy! Had a yummy chive? Flavor!“

“Wasn't expecting much from this little hole in the wall restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised by how great the food is! The General Tso's chicken wasn't too hot, and was the perfect mixture of spicy and sweet. The crab rangoon was, quite honestly, the best I've ever had. Would definitely recommend this place.“

“My happy place to go to. Even they are busy on the phone or waiting on customers the staff still great me in a very appreciate way. The family works hard everyday making the place a success. I recommend the lunch combons. Love the chicken and broccoli. My family is always happy with the amount of food we get and how hot the food is when it gets delivered to us. “I like it for a Chinese restaurant. The reason why I give it only 4 stars is it is in my opinion what every Chinese restaurant should do. With that being said I will reiterate that I do like their fried chicken and never had a complaint with the food itself. Delivery is a different story but even then it's not horrible.“

“I looked up Chinese restaurants. This was the closest to me and their prices were lower. I was very worried I was looking for trouble by going for the less expensive. Not even close. The food was excellent. The employees were very friendly. Parking is horrific. Location seems to be a scary part of town. That said, there were so many people in the restaurant as well as standing outside, who apparently live in the area. It looks to me the locals all love this place. And, for good reason. Great prices and good food.“
