“The people in there are nice. The place is clean but it's a little bit too much like if McDonald's was trying to be a Chinese restaurant for me. The food is okay and if I was on a road trip I would eat it again if it was this or like a Burger King or something but it's not a destination for me“

“Since we first discovered this restaurant about five years ago, it has become our absolute favourite buffet. There is always a great selection of seafood dishes. The hibachi station has lots of variety and the preparation is on point. The sushi station is very generous with new items often added. My other personal favourites are the spare ribs and the coconut shrimp. The service is attentive, pleasant and courteous and they maintain a high level of cleanliness at all times. The value of this buffet is amazing and would be difficult to match anywhere. This restaurant provides variety, freshness, cleanliness and great service.“

“Great food, friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere. Been here a number of times now and it's consistently great roast pork fried rice! Some places don't put enough vegetable or egg in, this restaurant hits the sweet spot in my opinion. I often take an extra order of it home. There's also a fountain and lots of plants in the eating area, gives a nice ambience.“

“SO 🏮 DELICIOUS 🍤. This is not your average Chinese food restaurant. The owners are super nice, the food is tasty and fresh, the atmosphere brings you back to 1993 (that's a compliment btw 😂). I've now devoured the orange chicken combo, the sesame chicken combo, the crab rangoon, and tried my wife's General Tao's Chicken. I am constantly impressed. Now here's the thing ... the rice HITS. Fried rice these days is usually forgettable, either super oily or just tastes old. NOT HERE. I'm a veg fried rice person, and the rice is fragrant and addictive. The prices are also VERY FAIR. “Perfect choice! Ordered lunch shrimp with broccoli with curry sauce. It came with fried rice. Looked and tasted great! Loved the no MSG comments, and that soup, soda, or egg rolls were optional add-ons and not automatic. Swift friendly service, and sauces and utensils were easily available. Perfect size to eat while I waited for an order at Walmart pickup across the street.“

“After seeing a movie down the street, my family and I came to Oriental Gourmet for dinner. There was plenty of seating and the restaurant had a classic, retro vibe. We were impressed that they had so many different Asian cuisines to choose from! For our first visit we stuck primarily to Chinese food, but it’s good to know they have sushi too. Almost every dish was good, but my mom didn’t really love her Mongolian beef and said it had a weird grittiness to it. Our server was attentive and they refilled our waters often. Not a bad spot!“

“I have tried afew places in Seymour. Picked up takeout tonight. General Tsao Chicken and shrimp, fried dumplings, fried rice and an egg roll. Everything was amazing and fresh. The kids (15 year old and were eventually caught) got my vehicle, my wallet, all my work equipment, a brand new pair of Jordan sneakers I bought for my friend for his birthday. “I don’t want to be dramatic but they might have some of the best crab rangoons I’ve ever had. Either that or the place I’ve been getting mine from did a really bad job lol food arrived so warm, ordering was so easy. My son got the boneless spare rib platter which he raved about and i also got chicken wings aside from my crab Rangoon and them wings were HITTIN’ to the point i took out hot sauce and they were so flavorful i forgot all about the dang hot sauce. First time ordering from them and they def got themselves a repeat costumer now.“

And the smile I get when I get my food that's customer service. “The best Golden fingers compared to others, it tastes and looks like actual chicken! Egg rolls and fried rice also always fresh and flavorful!! Staff is always friendly and orders always ready on time! Not my fav style for the crab Rangoon or the boneless spare ribs, but also not bad. “My happy place to go to. Even they are busy on the phone or waiting on customers the staff still great me in a very appreciate way. The family works hard everyday making the place a success. I recommend the lunch combons. Love the chicken and broccoli. My family is always happy with the amount of food we get and how hot the food is when it gets delivered to us. We get a free soda from the nice lady that works behind the counter. Have been going there for years.“

“Wasn't expecting much from this little hole in the wall restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised by how great the food is! The General Tso's chicken wasn't too hot, and was the perfect mixture of spicy and sweet. The crab rangoon was, quite honestly, the best I've ever had. Would definitely recommend this place.“

“I looked up Chinese restaurants. This was the closest to me and their prices were lower. I was very worried I was looking for trouble by going for the less expensive. Not even close. The food was excellent. The employees were very friendly. Parking is horrific. Location seems to be a scary part of town. That said, there were so many people in the restaurant as well as standing outside, who apparently live in the area. It looks to me the locals all love this place. And, for good reason. Great prices and good food.“

“Everything is excellent especially their spareribs, baby clams, brisket, sushi and the new hibachi station, sautéed shrimp and crabs just to name a few. The girls that work here are very attentive and friendly especially Linda,Yuki and Sandy.The food is ALWAYS FRESH. Newly renovated makes a significant difference.
