“Always get our King Salmon here! Always order lunch too. The BEST FISH N CHIPS in CT, hands down!!! Better than many other big name seafood places and 1/2 the price. Fish was flaky, melt in your mouth quality. Breading was just right for the thick pieces (2) of cod you get with the meal. We will get fish n chips every time we shop. Wide variety of different offerings that are fresh. Employee (s)/owner incredibly knowledgeable. A go to for holiday time.“

Every time I’ve visited, I’ve had the same server, and she has been consistently unpleasant. She appears to be miserable and annoyed by her job. Initially, I let it go because it was so busy, but even during times of manageable traffic, she remained unpleasant.

Additionally, the line setup and flow are quite confusing and lack order in my opinion.

Despite these minor issues, the food is still excellent. It’s of great quality, comes in generous portions, and is always fresh.“

Found out there was a second (original ) location in Stratford, On the phone they told us to come right over, they were waiting for us. When we arrived they welcomed us with open arms, were super friendly and super attentive. They treated my daughter like a super star. Waitress was lovely, however, walked into the restaurant to use the bathroom to find several other waitresses loudly talking about how annoged they were by our table. Nice crust, just enough toppings and again, that sauce! Fried calamari was tender & crispy. 6 nice size shrimp in the cocktail. If I had anything to complain about it would be the cocktail sauce was a bit wimpy for my taste. More horseradish, guys! “I stopped here for dinner after shopping at Bass Pro Shops/Cabelas, it was a good little find. I had some clam chowder and steamed clams, both were very good, they had good beer on tap too. Place had a good blue collar New England fisherman feel to it, great bartender, and its location felt like the kind of place which may be next to the dock the seafood is unloaded at. I’ll be back especially if riding my motorcycle on the CT turnpike as this place also appeared very friendly towards bikers.“

“After passing by here from driving my daughter around town, I had to try! Told my bf to come here with me for a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon. At first I thought they were closed, but their light was just off awaiting a customer, so don't be discouraged to walk in if you see the light off. They been open for 3 months now.
We ordered several tacos of chicken, chorizo (very spicy), and mixto that comes with lengua, steak, and al pastor. My favorite was the steak. Everything seasoned well with good portions. Only complaint is that the chicken could have been juicier.
Inside the sell hand crafted items. Man bought the boot shot glass and I got the clay salt and pepper shakers.
So if your passing around, I suggest you give them a try.“

The cheese was ok but the chicken was fabulous. I had the black beans, rice and beef stew!!! So phenomenal. Absolutely yummy!!! The flan and tres leches were bomb to. Reasonably priced. Only thing I will say their was the language barrier. It was hard for me to understand and hard for the server to understand. That makes it difficult when you have questions.
