“I was confused why my meal was different recently so I went back this weekend and figured out they stopped automatically adding the onions to the home fries they added no problem and that was definitely this missing factor staff still friendly just make sure to bring cash for tip as they now accept cards but dont have ability to add tip 🙂“

The specials board offers new dishes every day for breakfast and lunch and they are incredible every time. Super creative, thoughtful, fresh and high quality. Service is fantastic too, very nice servers/cashiers, quick and friendly. Paula is a wonderful chef, and her service and cooking staff deserve all the praise. Very professional here, 10/10.“

“John Davenport restaurant is a great spot for a quiet dinner and drinks. The view of New Haven is spectacular. I highly recommend the Jungle bird cocktail at Bar 19. The strip steak and fries were very good. It's a little expensive and the dinner menu is small, but the ambiance is worth it. Service was excellent.“

“Decent drinks and food. Calamari is great for a bar. They haven't had the correct ingredients for drinks all week. Small things like cherries, orange bitters, orange peel, etc. Also run out of normal brands a lot.
Decent enough but a little pricey for not being able to get a correctly made drink.“

“First time here and went with a traditional cheese pie. YUMMY!! The sauce is amazing and for us it had just the right amount of cheese. Some will find the flop factor a negative but I truly didnt care as the taste made up for it!! We will for sure be back to try more menu items!“

“Cozy atmosphere, really extensive wine list and comprehensive tasting notes. I love to do a wine flight (3 2 oz. glasses) and do a blind tasting with a partner, then try to match them to the wine based off of the tasting notes. We also tried the chocolate lava cake, which was decent and a good pairing with the drinks. Service was attentive and excellent. A wonderful experience overall, and an underrated gem in the neighborhood.“

“3 of us came to watch my granddaughter play in a basketball tournament at SCSU. We had Googled 'dive bars' on the way. We were not disappointed. The neighborhood atmosphere was evident. From the 3 friendly patrons who greeted us to the genial bartender. A 'Cheers' atmosphere. The 'melt in your mouth' burgers were the best ever. And we were pleasantly amazed with the bill! “Mory's has great food. I can't get enough of the moule frites. Mussels topped with French fries and this amazing mustard sauce. It'll make you want to lick the plate. But please don't. Caesar salad is also a huge portion and can be topped with an add-on of chicken, salmon and even tofu. There are vegetarian options as well.“
