“Feels like an Arab home-cooked meal. Authentic food, great music, amazing and kind service.
Also an amazing place to just sit and do work while drinking Turkish coffee and enjoying baklava.
They also do an outstanding thing for the community helping train refugees and helping them find employment or build businesses.“

“This is the cutest cafe ever. We went to grab some coffee before we started our day. The pastries are so fancy, and they look amazing. I had a piece of zucchini bread, and it was amazing. The staff was very friendly you should definitely check it out“

“MOTW has the best chai in the city. I love the soft, creamy, silky texture of their Yemeni chai. I love the way they decorated the 38th st location, very inclusive and powerful pictures. Great spot to get some work or reading done. Also love their prayer or meditation area. It’s such a wonderful coffee shop. Usually Raadia is there when we go and she’s such a kind and friendly soul, always so helpful and customer focused.“

“When we got there the line was pretty long, but didn't have to wait long as there were plenty of staff taking orders so we moved through the line quickly. Waiting on drinks and food took a little longer but it was completely understandable as it was quite busy.....food and coffee were delicious, would definitely recommend and would return if in the area!“

“I love Fussy Coffee!!!
This place is a little out of the way from the Yale campus which I personally think is great. It's right next to the canal trail. When the university is in session, it can be very busy and hard to find a table at peak times like around lunch. The cafe is bright with very tall windows that let in lots of sunlight. There are several smaller tables, some high top seating, and 2 long communal tables. For those who want to do work with laptops, beware that there aren't that many outlets!
For beverages - I really like the coffee here. Their nitro cold brew is STRONG. They also have non-coffee drinks options. They often have interesting, seasonal special drinks. They also have alcoholic beverages, although I've never tried them myself personally.
For food, they have lots of great options and are vegan/vegetarian friendly. Their fries are probably their best known food item. I ask for them to be extra cripsy because sometimes they come out a bit soggy. Their sauces are great too.“

“Came to do trivia visiting from San Diego, CA. I gotta say what a good time! They have great food, greater drinks and impeccable service. Our server was Michelle and she was fantastic! We ordered the fish and chips and the turkey sub with fries. Both were delightful! We came in last place for trivia and got a consolation prize! ? Great times, good food, good people. Highly recommend for a casual night out for food and drinks!“
“The cafe stood on a quiet street. It was in an old house. The walls were white. At night, lights shone through the windows.
Inside, it was warm. People sat at small tables. Some were alone. Some talked with friends. The wood floors creaked.
Outside, there were chairs on the sidewalk. The air was cool. You could drink coffee and watch people walk by.
The sign said OPEN in red letters. It was bright against the dark.
The coffee was good. The food was simple. You could sit for hours. No one would bother you.
It was a good place to think. Or to forget. Or to meet someone. The cafe was there if you needed it.“

“Every bite was delicious!“
“I like Dante's Inferno and the Columbian dark roast. The cafe boasts lovely natural lighting and essentially, the cafe is a large solarium. The cafe plays classic soul music most of the time. It's good for a quick bite. The KBT dining staff are always lovely and they roast their own beans.“

“What Luke's does well, it does really well - the shrimp cavatelli is fabulous. Other dishes (especially the mains - we ordered about half the menu) were less memorable. It's dark and looks busy but the acoustics are good enough that conversation is easy. And it should be - you're next to the Schubert and a stone's throw from Old Campus and the Green.“
