“So this amazing place was recommended by a friend from Madison and it did not disappoint! Authentic Szechuan in a beautiful room with high ceilings and soothing decor and music. One dish was better than the last and you cannot get this quality anywhere locally as far as I've been to. Go for yourselves and enjoy. Somehow we received cheesecake and chocolate ganache cake for dessert complements of the place! Even better!😂“

“this food is the bomb.com. its well seasoned nothing i got was nasty. this is some of the best rice ive had from a chinese joint. the only thing is the egg roll might have a little extra oil because 1 of mines had a lot of oil but it was the only one like that. but yeah even the soup is good and they are very nice which i never thought i would care about but the are actually have a pleasant energy. no delivery, and cash only. but worth it imo.“

“This place has amazing food. Many people complain about the restaurant's design and walls, but its amazing. his place has amazing food, and the dumplings are amazing 🤩. I would recommend going here to eat. Top menu items : eggrolls, chicken broccoli or just the chicken and rice, dumplings, fries. They also have specialty items that you should definitely look for, recently it was homemade lemonade with their own touches!“

Everything tasted very high quality 👌👌however, my one criticism would be that each dish had a little bit too much of one quality- the soup noodle was a little bit too sour and takes getting used to, the other noodle was a bit dry, and the cucumbers were very refreshing but a bit too sweet for me. I would still highly recommend all of these dishes though !!“

“We have been going to Imperial Wok for many years. The food is well seasoned and delish. The owner is friendly and remembers my name each time we visit. We moved to NC 6 years ago and everytime we come to CT to visit, we stop here to bring food back with us to NC. That's how good it is.“

The location is unfortunately in an urban area where there’s heavy criminal activity but nevertheless, criminals have to eat too lol. “I always wanted to order from here…. I got the plain fried rice with Chicken broccoli ?.. it was delicious I also got some Chicken wings I love them as well very juicy … however, I was not too crazy for the shrimp egg rolls… they were not crispy n had an after taste to them … not sure if the oil is frequently changed … it taste it kinda oily n stale n they were not crispy at all and I forgot to ask for soy sauce n hot sauce n they did not included a few packs , normally when I order from other places , they include some soy sauce whether i ask for it or not… but the rice with Chiken brócoli ? n wings were very tasty n delicious ?.. the driver was very friendly n fast service … I would come here again but I would not be getting the egg rolls from here… was kinda disappointed with the egg rolls!!!“

“Usually this is my go-to place for Chinese takeout. I’ve always found their food flavorful and reasonably priced. Last night I ordered vegetable chow mein, expecting noodles (as pictured in my Google search). Mein literally means noodles. So I was surprised and disappointed when I received this bowl of bland, limp vegetables, and no noodles at all. When I called the restaurant they told me that chow mein doesn’t have noodles; if I wanted noodles I should have ordered lo mein. I did some research and apparently this is a regional thing, though not - after surveying my other east coast friends - all that widespread. Anyway, I was disappointed and I’m thinking of taking my business somewhere else. I did give four stars because of past experiences, but I wanted to give a heads up to anyone looking for noodles in their noodles dish.“

“The food is exactly what is advertised: solid, affordable, fast Chinese takeout. Not much has changed in the 35 years since I first had Main Garden. Chicken and broccoli is still my go-to order. You don't go here for atmosphere. Stick with the tried-and-true and you will be happy.“
