“Only thing I can recommend is that this location seems very short staffed. 4 employees all working very hard and very busy. I noticed people behind me left as the person in front was getting lots of donuts and drinks and food. If the manager sees this please tell them to put on more staff so the employees aren’t over whelmed as I left I noticed drive thru was also very busy cars were moving but I believe with more staff could be even better“

“We are from DC, and when we travel up to CT, we go there regularly. The people are just as delightful as their drinks! One of the first times I went there I got a hot chocolate and they asked if it was for a child, I said no just me. Assuming the temp is slightly cooler for a child’s- but that is pretty great customer service, to even just ask ahead of time. There fluffernutter lattes are so good- and now canned— I made my dad bring some back down this way! Check them out for sure!!“

“My wife got a chocolate peanut butter smoothie, and I got a chocolate raspberry smoothie. Staff was accommodating for my wife's dietary restrictions and made recommendations to us on what to get. Smoothies tasted great, you can tell the ingredients are high quality. Atmosphere is lacking due to the disrepair the strip mall and parking lot are in.“

“We are not from the area but live açaí bowls so we were excited to try somewhere new. We stopped here and were in and out. The bowls were affordable and much bigger than those I buy back home. They were SO delicious. Highly recommend!“

“I work at the Pomfret Baker’s Dozen, so I’ve had my fair share of coffee — but my visit to the Chaplin location absolutely blew me away! The coffee was perfect (hands down the best I’ve ever had), and the manager at the window made it with such care. “my wife and I were in the area and decided to stop in for lunch. from the moment we walked in the door, we were treated like family. all of the staff treated everyone this way. the food tasted like love was the main ingredient. our server was amazing. the diner itself is very clean. we live an hour away and would gladly drive back for breakfast or lunch. Chaplin and surrounding area is lucky to have this Gem.“

“My wife and I were part of a small group that got a hands-on, behind-the-scenes tour, and I loved their coffee before we went, but I'm a little obsessed after this tour. The amount of effort that goes into their coffee is evident the first time you taste it, and on the tour I gained a greater appreciation for the skill and attentiveness required to make great coffee (we even roasted some and took it home with us). This place is incredible; if you've never had their coffee, do yourself a favor and run, don't walk, to your nearest Big Y.“

“Background music was exceptionally loud. We wanted to sit outside because we were unable to have a conversation inside due to the music.
The tables outside had no umbrellas, making it too hot to sit outside.
Staff was polite, but under staffed for volume of customers.“

“Drinks were so delicious and amazing, the paninis were extremely scrumptious. The bread they came on were fluffy, buttery and savory. Then, we had the most amazing cinnamon roll which was flaky and buttery and truly the best roll I ever had in my entire life. I can't wait to go back. “I had a great experience here, especially considering it was late at night. The staff welcomed me when I walked in and treated me just like any other customer, which I appreciated.

The ice cream was delicious, and the staff were knowledgeable about the products. They were able to answer my questions about different flavors and provide helpful information about the flavor profiles, which made choosing something much easier.

One thing that really stood out to me was the staff's work ethic. During slower periods, I noticed everyone staying productive—cleaning, organizing, and taking care of other tasks rather than sitting around on their phones. That may seem like a small thing, but it made a very positive impression.

The cherry flavor I chose had a natural, enjoyable flavor and didn't have the overly artificial taste I've experienced with some other ice creams. The portion size was appropriate for the price, and I felt the overall pricing was reasonable.

Overall, great service, good-quality ice cream, reasonable prices, and a staff that clearly takes pride in keeping the place running well.

Wow , I really hate the app . It's confusing and Mondays are 100 points as a bonus and free coffee with purchase for 14 days the app kept charging me for the coffee . Aliyah knows the app and how to navigate it . Thank God ? ? otherwise Today would have been my last day going there .“

“I visit Mohegan 1-2 times annually for work, and the space has expanded and looks much better.
However, and most importantly, the young lady that worked the shop on the morning of Thursday 5/14 was EXPONENTIALLY better than any other associate I’ve seen in the past 5 years. She wasn’t on her phone, she didn’t look miserable, she was friendly and nice and attentive. I wish I got her name to give her kudos. Way to go!“
