“This place is wonderful, I wish they had more spices side offer, because the way they make Spivey food is my love and liking. I will tell my freind to go here for sure. Everything is cooked great with love. I seen them fried my chicken from fresh cut chicken right onto my plate. Love the hard working family they’re always smiling and caring.Vegetarian options: They have a side of food that are only vegetarian it looks great, but I’m not a vegetarian.Kid-friendliness: They are so nice to kids they sell chop stick that teaches kids how to use them.“
“The food here was incredible. I ordered 3 rolls of sushi and miso soup for lunch to work and ordered extra food for dinner later. The sushi and soup was great. And the Korean fried chicken and fried rice and chicken and broccoli I ordered for my partner and I for dinner was sooooo good and it sat in my fridge all day at work and was reheated hours later and I was still blown away. I can't wait to order from here again!“
“This is one of the best Chinese restaurant in Bridgeport, CT! I have been buying Chinese food from them for 11 years since I was a kid to a young adult. When I first started coming here food was $6 (2010) now it’s $10 (2024). I can truly say I had an excellent experience here. Love me some China Sky. ♥️ Lol.“
“Although you can place your order via Google Maps, we chose to just go there & order. They're so fast (under 10 minutes) this is a viable option. There is a single table there but I'd say this place is takeout only. It's tiny inside but it's plenty big enough to order/pickup.“
“Wow, this is the best Chinese food I have found in the area. Food was hot and fresh and they use quality ingredients. The shrimp stir fried with vegetables in kung pao sauce were really fresh and perfectly cooked and the vegetables were still crispy. The crunchy water chestnuts were a nice touch. They don't use heavy gloopy sauces. The hot and sour soup was also a pleasant surprise. It was perfectly balanced with vinegar and some heat from chilis and had lots of fresh mushrooms and shredded bamboo shoots. Most of their business seems to be take-out. Don't be dissuaded by the appearances from the outside. We tried four different dishes and they were all hits. I will definitely be back!“
“This is the best Chinese food I have ever had. The food is unbelievable. Whenever I have friends visiting from out of state, I bring them to Panda House, so they can have a wonderful meal. I introduce my friends to Jack and his amazing wife Debbie. They treat my friends like family. The food at this restaurant is outstanding. Every dish is delicious. I have been going to this restaurant for over 15 years. I have always enjoyed every meal here. You will love this restaurant. I PROMISE“
“New Wok is the go to place for take out Chinese food in Newtown! My favorite dishes are the sweet and sour chicken (so crispy), fried rice, vegetable lo mein, and spicy beef with broccoli. The staff provides fast and easy service for take out with many tables if you choose to sit down. The food always tastes fresh and hot even after an entire drive home.“
“Found this place while driving on Post road in Westport. It was a hot Sunday afternoon and I was very hungry so this place caught my attention. The place is small with very limited seating but they have a pretty elaborate menu. Most impressive is their mobile app which was very easy to follow even I, who struggle with using any kind of app, was pretty comfortable placing an order.I went with their shrimp Shumai that included 8 pieces and lomien + friend chicken, that also came with a side of soup. Both the items very flavorful, the right amount of salt in the lomien and seemed very fresh.Prices are a bit high, but for that area they are appropriate. Good addition to Westport“
“I test every Chinese food restaurant via their fried rice. They really know how to cook. The rice wasn't dry and yellow like most places. This rice is actually fried on a griddle as it should be and is pretty damn good. I think I found my new place.“
“They are THE BEST ! The last time I had such great Chinese was in China Town in the City of Chicago. They are serious. Love their Hot and Sour soup. Not skimpy with flavorful ingredients like others in the area. Excellent Kung Pao Chicken. Spicy as it should be. Generous ingredients. They are the only place to go for Chinese here.“
“The restaurant is beautiful inside. Great atmosphere. The staff are incredibly nice and accommodating of families with small children! The menu labels vegetarian options. The server told us that all the vegetarian items are also vegan. I'm not sure how true that is, but it would be nice if the items that were vegan were labeled as such in addition to or instead of vegetarian.Vegetarian options: The menu labels vegetarian options. I'm not sure how true that is, but it would be nice if the items that were vegan were labeled as such in addition to or instead of vegetarian.Kid-friendliness: The staff got us a seat on Christmas, one of the busiest nights of the year, seeing that we had a 2 year old child with us. They brought her her own water cup and utensils and acknowledged her as a person, unlike most restaurants that assume babies don't count as people.“
“Clean, new, good selection. Very consistent, lots of seafood, polite staff. Beverages not included in price. Grilled fresh food, sushi, and prepared foods, fruit, salad, and Asian. Clean bathrooms. Right next to BJ's at The Dock in Stratford. $30 for 2 people after tax.“
“We'll be back! First time customer...couldn't resist the aromas as we headed for BigY! So we had no idea about Peking Tokyo and the 2 chicken dishes we ordered were OUTSTANDING. We thought our regular go-to for Chinese take-out was pretty good...Peking Tokyo is better than "pretty good"! (Approx 5th time here yesterday, 2/6/2021, the Kung Po Chicken was horrible (nasty chicken chunks, way too much salt). If I'd ordered that at 1st visit, I would not have come back!)“
“All of the lunch specials were good, wish they had brown or wild rice. Only white and pork fried. The chicken with broccoli was great, shrimp were large and juicy and the veggies crispy and delish. Definitely our new fav in the area.Prepared promptly. Just one request, DO NOT ADD PLASTIC UNLESS REQUESTED CUTLERY! PLEASE!!! SAVE THE PLANET :)“
“Very good food, very clean place.I personally don’t like egg rolls however this place has the only egg rolls I will eat. They’re made perfectly and so delicious. Staff is nice, service is fast. A little pricey however you get what you pay for in serving size and food quality.“
“Trying to find a new Chinese food place led me here. I'm not saying they're the best in Stratford, but the food is better than my last go-to place, which recently changed owners and, as usual, the quality suffered. Give them a try.“
“The store front is nothing to Wright home about but there Chinese food is the best there fast, portions are big and the service is great! Also price of food is affordableParking: Half the time you can latterly park at there front door and only half to walk four feet to go in easy and simple parking lotKid-friendliness: Hard working propel half the time the owners are the ones busting there but’s behind the counter to make there great foodWheelchair accessibility: Easy access for anyone in a wheelchair or has a disability“
“Been going here since 1993. Food is always fresh and authentic, place is always super clean. It's everything you want and more from Chinese takeout. Friendly service, great location and easy parking to do a quick pick up with no hassle. Always generous with the the cute bamboo chopsticks and sauces. Only thing I would ask for is one of your small aquarium tanks back and a goldfish or two...the place isn't the same without them.“
“The highlight was actually the fried rice. It was one of the tastiest fried rice I've had in a long time. So much so, that every time I'm driving around Shelton, I think about maybe ordering it for lunch. Don't get me wrong, our party had ordered other plates and they were mostly happy with them (the teriyaki chicken wasn't a hit though), but everyone that tried the fried rice, wanted more of it. Service was good and friendly and there were plenty of tables to choose from.“
“I got take out here twice, today was my second time. My cousins recommended it and LC Chen did not disappoint. Only tried the pretty basic things but everything is good! I haven’t had good sesame chicken in a while and I just devoured theirs. SO GOOD. They deserve more customers!“
“Food is really good !! The mala wings are good even though soft after traveling in the to go container. Hot sour beef pot is fantastic, flavors are robust, specially when I find fun surprise like a peppercorn medley. Mongolian beef also a great choice for me, portion size was on the small but couple with mala wings , it was enough!!“
“Definitely one of the better Chinese food take out places in the area. The general tsao chicken combo was prepared quickly and tasted yummy for a great price. The owners were very friendly as well. Will order from this restaurant again in the future!“
“So glad I found this Chinese place. Wish they did deliver if they did it would be 5 stars. The food is absolutely delicious, they make it quick, they are friendly, and the prices are great. They give you big portions to and don't skimp out on the sauce. ??“
“Go to local Chinese food in Shelton. Finding good Chinese takeout in CT is a challenge, this is the best option in the area. Cash only! Orange chicken extra spicy and beef lo mein are my go to with a wonton soup on the side. Lunch special is a great value. Friendly and quick service. Great location if you need to pickup anything from the grocery store or packy.“
“Hong Kong Express is probably my favorite place to go to for Chinese food. LOVE THE EGGROLLS! I’ve tried other places in Bridgeport but unfortunately none have had the same good taste as this place here. They are very quick with their orders and they are very nice! Though I do wish they had a delivery option like they used to. That’s the only downside of the place, but other than that, no complaints at all.“
“Co worker recommended ordering from here so I kept it simple pork fried rice with chicken wings surprisingly it was delicious rice was flavorful and didn't need any sauce and chicken was fried to perfection!!! Only downside is no delivery and cash only business. But I would definitely order from here again!!!“
“We went on a Friday night around 7PM without a reservation and they were able to seat us right away, though not in the back garden area. We still were able to sit at a table with direct view of the garden so it was comfortable with a lovely view. I would recommend garden seating if you're making a reservation, though, because it looked really lovely. There were fountains and flower baskets, twinkle lights, etc.)“
“This is a great spot for take-out! This is the 4th time I've had it. The food is really good. I ordered their Singapore mei fun and it is really spicy, but I like spicy so it was delicious. It's your common Chinese food take-out. The food is always hot when it's ready. I will continue to order food here. The service is fast and friendly!“
“The delivery time was decent. It was kind of expensive.I ordered fried chicken and fries it was not horrible but it could have been better. Small things such as the fries had some bad ones in it like brown ones, and the chicken was delicious I recommend. Over all this experience was a 3.5 star thing ! ??♀️“
“Their Customer Service is exceptional and ai love their Seafood Soup! So glad I found this spot because, after many years, I will never go to the "other spot up the street" every again after seeing one of the cooks sweat and cough over the food and picking his nose while cooking.“
“Perfect takeout Chinese restaurant. No online ordering, you have to call, and you cannot dine it. No frills at all. Food was quick, cheap (in a good way), and delish. I got the General Tso's chicken and while it wasn't spicy at all, the crunch was fantastic and the quality of the chicken was much higher than you find at a lot of strip-mall type restaurants. The eggrolls were big and crunchy too.“
“I love this place! They offer first-cleass meals, they have a nice menu, The cook in that restaurant is well trained, I like a lot tasting all their food. The dishes are always fresh and tasty, the service towards the visitors is agreeable. I frequently visit this place and I not even once was unsatisfied. Highly recommended.“
“The best Chinese food I have ever had! I’ve been going to this hidden gem since 2004 and wouldn’t go anywhere else. The veggies are just picked and chopped; the cooking style is authentic Szechwan and Hunan straight from their respective provinces in China ?? So amazing!!! Unfortunately their dine-in is shut down from Covid still, I miss that, but safety first.“
“Egg foo young, shrimp fried rice, and shrimp egg roll. All was fresh and DELISH! Although, Cutting Corners like every other Place. Skinny jean shrimp egg roll ? and minimal shrimp in both shrimp roll and fried rice... Not COOL! Recoop your Covid loss in other ways....NOT SMART..MAY LOSE REGULAR BUSINESS Playing this Game... PPL Pay for what they EXPECT TO RECEIVE or We take our Business Elsewhere...?“
“The best Chinese take out around! The crab Rangoon is the best. The gyoza is delicYou can dine in as well! They have a few seats inside, a nice calm and relaxing atmosphere. They offer sushi and traditional meals. The service is always attentive and quick! Worth the drive every time!“
“They're really good when im in a hurry to get dinner for my kids. They're also very nice and will deliver literally within 2 block's. We love the food esp the crab ragoon. The bean curd tofu soup is also my favoriteVegetarian options: I like the vegetable lo mein and bean curd soup“
“I've been coming here for several years, because of my daughter's love for a saucy chicken and broccoli. It's her absolute favorite Chinese spot to go to, no other spot can compare. Don't be fooled by an old photo posted, post covid this place doesn't have a table anymore, it's take out only. They're also closed on Sunday's now, so plan accordingly. The packaging was upgraded and they place chop sticks along utensils in a packet with a small tissue and tooth pick. It's super busy all day so I recommend calling in your order in advance!“
“Favorite Chinese spot! Very consistent and fast. I love their fried rice because it's the only place I can find that doesn't put frozen peas and carrots in it. You always get rung out by the same two people and they are both extremely friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!“
“Great place to have a vegan option of food.... Besides all the other food they cook. My favorite vegan dish is Bean Curd Schenzuan style with brown rice and a large order of plantain and two spring rolls comes to less than $20 and that meal last me for two dinner days I only eat once a day so $20 to eat beautifully tasty cooked food for 2days is a steal... I will continue to support them unless they raise pric3s too, high above my budget but I,have been eating there for 9-10 years and they are consistently fair and delicious... Hope that helps.“
“I haven't had Chinese food in a long time, but was craving it. Went to Shanghai bc it was close to my house and wow. I ordered a wonton soup, chicken wings, crab rangoon and shrimp and broccoli combo with pork fried rice and spring roll. Every thing was so good. All of that food for just $35! The man who took care of me at the counter was extremely friendly. I'll definitely be back.“
“Great spot for sushi! It's our go-to in the area. The salmon is great quality (Faroe Islands salmon), and everything is fresh and flavorful. My husband loves that he can get a light Japanese (Kirin) to pair with it.Parking: Parking is in the back. GPS will tell you to turn on Mill Street, and then the parking is to your left. Plenty of spaces.“
“I was stopping in Milford while traveling and looking for a late dinner. I ordered from Ming Feng and brought it back to my hotel and was NOT disappointed! The food was very hot and large portions. I got veggie lo mein and the sesame chicken combo, which was served with pork fried rice and an egg roll. I am an egg roll connoisseur and this definitely passed the test, very hot and crispy. The lo mein had a ton of fresh veggies and a light sauce. The sesame chicken was standard great flavor, and the pork fried rice also had fresh veggies and the pork tasted good. The woman who waited on me at the counter was also very friendly and kind. Overall, a great experience and everything I look for in takeout Chinese! I appreciated the freshness of the vegetables and that nothing was overly greasy. Would come back if I'm ever in the area again.“
“I will admit, the plaza looks super dead and lifeless despite having a pretty good location, so I was quite concerned. The eggroll was super good - it felt light to eat and made me instantly want another one. It wasn't too greasy, it wasn't too oily, wonderful. I got the chicken and broccoli which was also pretty good since the sauce had a garlicyness to it that very few other takeout places have. Overall very good“
“Grat Japanese and Chinese restaurant. Have only done takeout, so I can't comment on service. The food is top notch. Whether you order sushi or Chinese you can't go wrong. Have spent time in both Japan and China, this is some of the best in this country. We have not had a thing we didn't like. Their online ordering system is one of the best. They tellyou how long and it is always ready and correct.“
