“Went last night for the first time to celebrate my birthday with my granddaughter. The food was great and we were treated to the best waiter and manager. The service was the best that i have had in a long time and made us feel so special. The veal dish I had was wonderful, Large portion for the price and my granddaughter had the chicken parm and she couldn't finish her dish. I will definitely go again and tell my friends about this gem of a restaurant“

“Always get our King Salmon here! Always order lunch too. The BEST FISH N CHIPS in CT, hands down!!! Better than many other big name seafood places and 1/2 the price. Fish was flaky, melt in your mouth quality. Breading was just right for the thick pieces (2) of cod you get with the meal. We will get fish n chips every time we shop. Wide variety of different offerings that are fresh. Employee (s)/owner incredibly knowledgeable. A go to for holiday time.“

Two of our party had their chairs collapse (and no, they were not obese). Waitress was lovely, however, walked into the restaurant to use the bathroom to find several other waitresses loudly talking about how annoged they were by our table. Went back in to let my son use the restroom and they were speaking badly about another table. needless to say, wont be back. which sucks because our boat is there.“

“5 ⭐️We went here to celebrate my daughter’s graduation from Sacred Heart University. Their location in Trumbull near the college was over an hour wait. Found out there was a second (original ) location in Stratford, On the phone they told us to come right over, they were waiting for us. When we arrived they welcomed us with open arms, were super friendly and super attentive. They treated my daughter like a super star. The food was delicious and the cocktails were so creative and tasty. Would highly recommend and will definitely return.“

Brittany was our server, & she was awesome! I can't recall our busboy's name but he was great with bringing bread to our table, & refilling our water glasses as needed. I had the baby arugula salad special to start, & it was so tasty & the perfect beginning before having an old favorite of mine, linguine with white clam sauce. My hubby really enjoyed the Spiedina Romano which is a kicked up mozzarella appetizer that if he fully polished it off, he wouldn't have ate his Chicken Piccata then tangerine sorbet afterwards! Don't worry, we brought home leftovers to enjoy! Topping off things was a surprise singing of "Happy Birthday" when my tartufo came out! “4 of us had dinner last night, food was excellent! The eggplant rollatini was stuffed with ricotta, tender eggplant and delicious sauce. My husband had sausage & mushroom pizza. Nice crust, just enough toppings and again, that sauce! Fried calamari was tender & crispy. 6 nice size shrimp in the cocktail. If I had anything to complain about it would be the cocktail sauce was a bit wimpy for my taste. More horseradish, guys! Lol Service was super, empty glasses and plates were removed after we finished. Cozy atmosphere, nice music at a good volume. I highly recommend the place! <3“

Family Flamez Restaurant in Fairfield, CT, is the best Jamaican Restaurant in ALL of CT.
I bought a medium Oxtail with rice and peas. After the first bite, I don’t know what happened, because the plate was empty in a flash. Luckily I bought a Festival and I used it to wipe up every last bit of the gravy, it was that good!!!
If you’re ever in CT and looking for authentic Jamaican Cuisine, Family Flamez is the place to go. Sorry no photos to display because the food was gone before I knew it. Compliments to the Chefs!!!!“

I did not have a reservation and the hostess was very nice and gave me a table without any hesitation. The views were stunning and the food was absolutely delicious. “I stopped here for dinner after shopping at Bass Pro Shops/Cabelas, it was a good little find. I had some clam chowder and steamed clams, both were very good, they had good beer on tap too. Place had a good blue collar New England fisherman feel to it, great bartender, and its location felt like the kind of place which may be next to the dock the seafood is unloaded at. I’ll be back especially if riding my motorcycle on the CT turnpike as this place also appeared very friendly towards bikers.“

“Great place for dining and drinks, especially when you compare it to the other establishments in the area. The best quality is the service, which is surprisingly pristine considering how busy this place gets, especially during happy hour. The place can be packed to the brim with people, and you will still get served quickly without diminishing the quality of the food/drinks. You can watch the bartenders make the drinks in front of you, and they serve you within minutes without cutting corners, before moving onto the next person. I’ve seen places half as busy, take twice as long to serve their patrons.“
