“The place was really cute though my photo doesn’t do it justice. They had bright lighting and a high ceiling. We went during the Wharf boat parade so it was great hideout from the cold and the crowd.

“I usually stick to my routine and don’t like stepping out of my comfort zone, but for some reason, I decided to try a new sandwich place. I Googled one but couldn’t find it. After driving around in circles, I searched for another location—only to find that it was closed for a while, which was incredibly frustrating.

Fortunately, I stumbled upon Sandwiches & Smoothies (S&S) across the street. The food was delicious, the smoothies were fantastic, and the customer service was excellent! My partner and I enjoyed three sandwiches because we were so hungry I highly recommend supporting this small business—they're doing everything right!“

“A concept created during the pandemic, I’m so glad it’s back inside Shilling Canning Company. Available inside and to go, there are six sandwiches on the menu and a weekend breakfast burrito. Every part of the sandwich is created in house except for raising the animals for the meat.Trying every sandwich at their launch party, every single one was delicious, especially with the housemade buns. However, my favorite was the “Chivito” with beef, ham, bacon, egg, and more. The “Ampburger” tastes like a gourmet Big Mac and it’s everything.Their wedge fries are crispy and nice. The homemade chocolate chip cookies are chocolate heavy and always warm. So good!They also sell Mexican Coca-Cola and Sprite in glass bottles.Service is always excellent and street or a paid parking lot are nearby.“

“I visited this place awhile ago and there is something very special about this place. i had catfish with fries and it was very fresh and not greasy at all. I had a brief conversation with owner and i was told they used very high level oil to fry the food. They definitely care about the quality of the food more than anything. I had a make your own salad with beets and artichoke hearts, among my favorite salad ingredients. My boyfriend got the ham and turkey sandwich, which was delightful as well. I was one of the early birds,because by the time I had ordered, there was already a steady stream of people coming in to place their order. I already knew what I wanted to order even before I arrived. It was the meatball marinara sub. My initial thoughts were to just get the six inch sub, but after checking out he menu, I saw that the foot long was only about $2 more, so I went with that one. For the toppings, I requested pro alone cheese, lettuce, black olives, and those delicious red bell peppers. The e sub came out to be around $8.00 which was definitely markedly higher than the price a year ago. Such is life! Once I get to my office I will start eating and let you know how it tastes. I'm sure it will be the same like all of the other sandwiches that I've ordered from this place.“
