“I listened to the Harvey Milk discography on shuffle while I get ready for my date. “A small turn of human kindness”on cassette was played during the drive to pick up my Valentine. When she entered and occupied the passenger seat she hit eject and slipped “Courtesy and Good Will Towards Men” into the CD player. She skipped to track 3 (plastic eggs) after a surprise kiss on the cheek. she asked me how my day was going. She notices the bouquet of roses hiding in the back seat, as well as a vinyl repress of the Harvey Milk self titled album. A gift for later. We finally reach our destination. Arby’s on February 14th wasn’t packed to the brim with customers but we still chose to use the convenient drive thru. Two large orders of seasoned curly fries, two beef N cheddars, a medium Coke Zero and vanilla shake. The last note of “A good thing gone” was played and we pulled up to the window to pay. I asked for extra packets of Horsey sauce after they handed me my debt card back. We sat in the parking lot of Wal-Mart and devoured the items while I played the first couple of tracks from “Life the best game in town”. There were no napkins put into the bag, but it still was an eventful experience.“

“The manager and his staff were a tremendous help. I couldn’t figure out how to use the QR code on my phone and everybody pitched in to help. They were the friendliest group I’ve run into in a long time and I spend a lot of time in restaurants

“They just lost a customer until they hire a better cook that can actually read the tickets correctly and stop messing up orders. This actually happened a few weeks ago to us where we ordered the 6 piece chicken basket and two double burgers , and we only got two single burgers and only 4 pieces of chicken...... the manager made it right. Today the ticket definitely read no ketchup I am allergic and it was all over my burger. Get a new cook or teach him to read!!“

“Tables were dirty. Only half of the tables are available for sitting -- the other tables are blocked off. I guess staff doesn't want to keep all tables clean for the guests.
We ordered the gravy for the dipping sauce for chicken strips. It was pure water!!!! We took it back and got barbeque.
TV is no longer available, but that's not really an important issue.
Also, it took a long time before anyone came to take our order. We think they were in the back somewhere because no one could be seen out front.“

“My family stopped here on our way home from the beach on July 4th. The staff was very friendly and helpful! We accidentally dropped a soda on the floor, which made a mess. The woman behind the counter was super helpful and gracious and jumped right in to clean it up. She had a cheerful attitude and treated us really well despite our mess making.“

“This was my very first time visiting a Jersey Mike’s, and I walked into the Dover, DE location not knowing what to expect or even where to go. The moment I stepped in, all four staff members went above and beyond to make sure I received the best service possible.

Right away, they welcomed me with smiles and playful energy. I was jokingly told I had to choose which of the four should make my sandwich. Nicollette proudly claimed she was ranked 5th in the company, so she was clearly the top pick. Zayir, Vaughn, and Jacob jumped in with fun banter, all claiming to be the best sandwich makers around. When asked who I wanted to make my sub, I said, “Well, I’ve got to stick with the lady, girl code!”

Let me tell you this team didn’t just offer great customer service; they made me feel seen, welcomed, and genuinely appreciated. And that sandwich? Absolutely off-the-hook AMAZING.

I also had the pleasure of speaking with the manager, Fred, who was just as awesome and clearly leads a fantastic team.

If you’re in Dover, Delaware, and want a fresh, delicious sandwich with a side of laughter and great vibes Jersey Mike’s is the place to go. I’ll definitely be back!

“I literally drive 8 miles past a Subway near my house to frequent this one. Employees are Polite, trained on Subway stsndards( former Subway employee here) store is always clean. Food fresh. Subway in Felton De. Could really take some notes from this one.“

“I went to this location with my man a few days ago and the experience was very good. There was only one lady working but she made sure that the line moved smoothly and we got our ice-cream asap (The cookie dough and brownie cupfection is to die for). She was friendly and welcoming even with the big line. Overall, I would say this is the best DQ in the area.“

I love the tablets being present, and everytime I customize something they have gotten it perfect.
