“JRK in Aventura absolutely knocked it out of the park! We recently used them to cater an event, and our guests could not stop raving about the food. The jerk chicken, barbecue chicken and jerk fried rice had an incredible, scrumptious flavor. The rice and peas, steamed cabbage and sweet plantains were also cooked to absolute perfection.
​Not only was the food amazing, but the delivery was also right on time. Multiple guests were asking for the restaurant's location and insisted they would be visiting in person soon. If you want delicious Jamaican food, JRK is the place to go! Thank you JRK for making our event a success!”

From presentation to the complex and delicious flavors. The turkey wrapped dates were out of this world. I have read other reviews and don’t understand the complaints about portion size and price. The portion sizes were perfect not too much where you are full after one dish and not too small leaving you craving more. Kudos to all of the staff. This is not a cheap family restaurant but you are definitely getting value in the food and experience. Excited to come back and taste more of the incredible menu.”

Even the plating is designed to provide a southern Italian feel with the colored and ornate ceramic. The foot was fresh and well made. We had the watermelon salad and the burrata and meet tray. The salad was well balanced. The salad included nuts, olive oil, mint, feta and several other ingredients which made it refreshing and complex. Great for a summer day. The burrata tray came with traditional Italian bread with prosciutto. They also offer several Italian beers above and beyond a Peroni. I highly recommend this place.”

“Never ate in usually order togo, have a glass of wine and dip out. Octopus always tender. Not over salted and a great portion if you want it for dinner. Carpaccio di manzo is a good appetizer. It has a Balsamic reduction if that's a bother for you. You also must go in to order it. You'll only get the Bresola carpaccio online which is understable. PASTA IS FIRE! No pasta has missed yet expect for the Vangole Only because someone forgot to wash the clams properly last visit and I got an excessive amount of sand in my delicious pasta. I expect one or 5 grains.beacsue thats the nature of fresher shellfish but it was a bit much. Still finished it because it was buttery, oceanic and deluxe cuz they add extra clam meat other than the clams you have to shell... its a plus for me.. overall its a good neighborhood place. Suitable for a date night. Not overally expensive and close to home if you're a NMB local. Forgot to mention the pizza Crust: Not too thick. Airy and crusty. We'll salted. I dont eat crust but I eat Amarone's crust..all flavors hot fire!

The adults didn't like anything. I personally was disappointed, as the taste in general was very artificial and the quality was poor.

The children liked the cookies, but they weren't impressed either. The expectation was enormous, but the reality was different.

“I’m renting an apartment nearby and I’m just here as a tourist. I have diabetes, and my Uber Eats delivery was taking a very long time, so I got out and decided to walk the last 30 minutes to the restaurant myself.

When I arrived, I realized this place requires a membership, so I wasn’t able to get any food. I explained the situation, and a kind girl gave me some bread with the most delicious, amazing butter. She truly saved me.

I really hope I didn’t bother her, and that she didn’t think something was wrong with me.”

For the price, I would say refrigerating the strawberries and preparing them to order should be MANDATORY. No one wants mushy, warm, sour smelling strawberries. The strawberries should be kept refrigerated, washed/prepped and cut to order + CRISPY, pleasant and fresh to bite. “White chocolate pistachio ice cream , and a hazelnut cone was our visit . Now the cone is drizzled in a dark chocolate which is a healthier choice yet id prefer a milk chocolate choice the taste would be more complimentary to the ice cream. The venue was clean, and beautiful pieces throughout. Staff was knowledgeable about the flavors even chat with me about the best sellers. I'd visit the location again for sure”
