Everything from seating us( we changed from a table to a booth after being seated and they were so nice about it) to the end of our meal was exceptional. Every staff member was so professional, yet very friendly . Training must be really grand here. I asked one of the workers how they had so many great workers, and she said that she loved the vibes at Carrabbas’a. We did too. Best pork chop I have had in a long time and the mashed potatoes were amazing. We each had enough for two meals, but no room for dessert. We will be back to this well oiled machine very soon!”

We ordered fried oysters, French fries, and cheese grits, and everything was absolutely delicious. The oysters were fried to perfection, crispy on the outside yet tender and flavorful inside. The cheese grits were just the way I like them—nice and thick—and the fries were a great complement to the meal. Even better, our food arrived quickly and fresh. Our waitress, Lilly, was fantastic, providing friendly and attentive service. We also appreciated how the rest of the staff greeted us warmly as we walked through the restaurant. It’s little details like that that make a place feel extra welcoming. The restaurant itself was clean and well-kept, including the bathrooms, which is always a big plus. Anna Maria Oyster Bar now has four locations, and after this experience, I’d definitely visit again. If you’re in the Ellenton area and craving fresh seafood with great service, this spot is a must-try!”

“I went in this morning to McDonald’s. I love your coffee. I could go to Starbucks, but I feel like they’ve charged me for a colonoscopy. But every now and then they don’t give it to me, correct. Frequently at some McDonald’s. By that I mean, I order it with certain way with cream and Splenda and it doesn’t come consistently in the same way. Most the McDonald’s in my area give it to me the same way every time I go. I know which McDonald’s you are but I was in a hurry.
This trip not only was it not the way I normally order it but the lids weren’t put on tightly and my car paid the price.
I think some training is in order and recalibrating Splenda dispenser, not so much the creamer dispenser.

“We found this little coffee shop on our way to Myakka State Park. I don’t drink coffee, but my daughter does. The reviews were great so we stopped by. It’s super cute inside and they also have seating outside. There is also a water bowl outside, filled with water, for your furry friends if you brought them with you. We don’t remember what my daughter ordered, but she asked what they recommended for a first time visitor. She said it was really good. If you like coffee, give it a try and don’t forget to get your sticker if you collect them from different coffee shops like my kids do lol. Parking seemed a little challenging, as we found ourselves on the backside of the building in what seemed to be a hotel garage parking lot. But that might just be us, as we were unfamiliar with the area.”

It’s REALLY loud in there. Too much happening at one time. There is a lady that comes to your table and has you posed for pictures which was really awkward but on the plus side you get a free picture. Also our waitress which I think was named Cynthia, was not great. We ordered an appetizer that we never got until probably 20 minutes after our food, we barely saw her ever, had to get her attention when she passed by to get drink refills. Anything we asked her to bring us we had to wait minimum 15 minutes to get if not longer. I would definitely eat here again but probably to go only.”

“We alas finally got the chance to visit this "brilliant" place on 7.24.2024!!! We sat outsyde since indeed we brought our companion- Hamish, our Border Collie. We were immediately accomodated by the hostess with a fan pointed out way (oppresively hot!) and water for Hamish and a view of what was to come! Only the beginnings of great service and outstanding food: Camille P. our hostess came out immediately with smiles, suggestions and patience. We ordered our drinks (starting with 2-Conch Republic Key Lime Wheat beers) and our brilliant appetizer all brought with no rush nor bad tyming! We then ordered our appetizer which was both unique and most tasty- The Caprese Guac! Two more drinks of choice- the Honey Thyme Smoke Olde Fasioned & a Citrus Cannon- again spot on and magical! For our main my wife and I split the Bee Sting Pizza and the Crispy Chicken Cobb Salad both enough for a split of 4 people with a taste and presentation like none other! Our relaxing and "take a breath" meal/day was finished off with a Pinapple Upside Down Cake (had to try it) to go! Needless to go on and on but we couldn't have been more impressed. We have lived in this area for 2+ years and treat ourselves weekly but never has the treat been so outstanding what with Camille P's humor, efficiency and shared knowledge but unique and abundant food we will be equally back for tyme and again... cheers to ownership (always reflected in the professionalism and great atmosphere of staff, thus planning and providing a place second to none! Sent email to linksters managnment with no reply back. Second incident about a few months ago she approached me and said you can not smoke your cigar during trivia night that they have every Wednesday, Casey said customers complained about the smoke. So I sat outside far side and customers who knew me from that night asking me why your all the way over there smoking and I said Casey banned me from smoking..I wrote an email to linkstersManagnment and no reply back. Casey as some issues.. never had issues with no other bartender besides Casey which she created and she makes drama were there not need to be.... Not serving me this evening with out no reason is crazy, is Casey bar its Scullers bar.. im just confused on how she can treat customers like this and she allowed to behave in this manner, Casey is so unprofessional on how she treated me and other customers.”

My 4 year old is a picky eater but she ate all the chicken!”

“The overall service use to be amazing at this Olive Garden. We have come here several times over the years and this is the worst front staff I’ve ever experienced. I checked in and was told it would be a 15 minute wait and told them that I had people coming but instead of seating us after 25 minutes passed I came up to ask the pregnant hostess if they were waiting for my party or something because we’ve been waiting and she was like oh yeah yeah we are without so much as looking at me or apologizing for the wait. There were several of them up there that were just laughing and joking around unprofessionally and the pregnant hostess was eating up there talking with the other ladies at the podium while they ignored us. She disappeared completely for several minutes and after 30 minutes I asked a girl who showed up if we were going to be seated because my party was waiting. She said she would check because she just got there. She went to find the pregnant hostess and told her we were waiting 30 minutes and my daughter overheard her denying it. I’m just not used to that at any restaurant. If you tell me 15 minutes and it’s not busy in there then we have better be seated whether we are waiting for people to arrive or not. It put me in such a terrible mood that I wanted to leave but thankfully our waiter came right away and was amazing. He was very attentive and kind and I felt he deserved a good tip. What made me write this review was when we left there were a gaggle of women at the front with the pregnant hostess and we all noticed that they just stared at us and didn’t say the usual thank you have a good night. No one bothered to politely open the door like they have always done for us in the past. You just knew that they we’re talking bad about you. If this is what this Olive Garden restaurant is turning into then I have to stop coming. I don’t know what’s up with those women but this is their place of work not a place to gossip and bullshit about their life or talk shit about their paying customers who are there to be treated with some measure of respect and kindness when they are out with their family for dinner. I hope a manager sees this review and addresses this issue of plain rudeness. We are also not white and so obviously white people were being treated better and seated immediately. By the way, our pregnant hostess was black but for some reason thinks it’s ok to be rude to us. If this ever happens to us again, a complaint will definitely be filed to your corporate management or the BBB. I will not tolerate this behavior in front of my family.”
