“Dave’s Hot Chicken is definitely worth the visit! The chicken was hot, fresh, crispy, and packed with flavor. The seasoning and spice levels were on point, and the chicken was juicy and cooked perfectly. The fries and dipping sauce were also delicious and paired perfectly with the chicken.

The service was friendly and the overall atmosphere was clean and welcoming. The portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable for the quality and amount of food you receive.

“Our family of 5 flew in from Alaska to spend Thanksgiving holiday with family and our first stop was Chick-fil-a. Our favorite sandwich is the grilled chicken sandwich but it has to have the honey roasted bbq sauce. When we pulled into the drive-thru we were so sad to find out they were out of HRBBQ. We told Janiah this was our first stop and we’d been looking forward to our visit all day. A few minutes later she can back to our car with a baggie of hrbbq. Serving up their EV charging station for electrical cars. When lunch time came around, I decided to have lunch inside. The team and the manager Catavia was so polite and customer pleasing. “went in monday evening. myself and my son were 3rd in line. all 3 parties walked in at the same time. we all stood there for 15 mins before be acknowledged. the guy in front of me walked out. the guy behind the counter (dark wavey hair and glasses) would not even make eye contact with any of us or even say we will be right with you. i watch him fill about 7 online orders while we were being ignored by him. after about 15 mins the female manager came out and spoke to us and apologized that they are very under staffed and drowning in online orders. the manager did a great job and made it up to us in line for having to wait so long and refused to tip for me because she said they did not earn it with there service. hats off the this young lady for taking accountability and control of the situation. it's hard to find accountability these days. SEEING a pattern that the owner only responds to positive reviews.“

“Family was visiting from out of town last week, so we placed a large to‑go order at the Pollo Tropical in Sanford. When it came time to pay, our debit card kept getting rejected, even after the staff tried multiple registers and attempted to split the payment.

We were about to remove items to pay in cash when the manager, Pedro, explained there was a software glitch preventing debit card payments over $50. He immediately stepped in and discounted our order by 35%, which allowed us to get everything we needed.

With a little patience and understanding, what could have been a frustrating situation turned into a positive experience. Our whole family was extremely grateful for Pedro’s help and the Sanford team’s effort to make things right.“

I had to thank them, for a job well done before I left the restaurant! “For essentially being gas station food, I honestly like Krispy Krunchy fried chicken. As long as you get it fresh, it always has a nice crunch to it with juicy chicken inside. A bit overly salty and could use some other spices, but all in all I like it. They tossed in some sort of biscuit thing with my chicken, but it was hard as a rock and inedible.“
