“I had a bad experience at a different restaurant down the street so I walked to Fortini's and was greeted with a smile. The food and drink were terrific and I had a very pleasant and friendly evening. This place has been around for years and the family and neighborhood feeling still exists.“

The classic Eastern European decor makes us feel like we are back in Croatia, beautiful, relaxing, and unrushed. We are always greeted warmly, and the service is wonderful! The wide variety of food choices, all handmade, make it difficult to choose! Everything we have eaten has just been delicious! “I have attended a wine tasting and just stopped in for a casual glass. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. The owners are a lot of fun, very community oriented. The wine is different than what you find in restaurants and other wine shops in Dunedin so add Wine at the Docks to your Dunedin list of places to go.“

We made reservations on line only 30 minutes before we arrived and we were seated immediately.The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable of the menu.I ordered the lamb chops, cooked medium, they where more like medium well but I didn't mind as they were still tender and not overly seasoned. My wife ordered the rigatoni with meatballs. The pasta could have been cooked a little longer bit the homemade meatballs and fresh tomatoe sauce made up for it.We finished our meal with a house made Tiramisu and a Lemoncello!Definitely worth the trip, glad we found this place“

The owner is very intentional and fun to talk to.It can be (surprisingly) rare to find coffee professionals that are as passionate about coffee as home enthusiasts, but the owner knows her stuff, and seems to enjoy talking about it. My wife and I are baristas as well as home enthusiasts, so we are that rare combination that doesn’t just think about our work as solely a job. It is a massive bonus to us when those working at a shop share our passion.At risk of sounding pretentious, this is the third-wave experience as it is meant to be. They offer a Sangria and Tacos special on Tuesdays and sangria is perfect for those who enjoy the drink without a plethora of fruit in the glass, just refreshing juice and ice. Noe helped us out and we enjoyed watching him work on a future art installation for the bar. Their spicy chili oil tacos were OUTSTANDING, I asked about the spice factor, and was reassured it was flavor over flame, just my kind of dish. All the stars, will come back!“
