“We had an absolutely amazing dinner here. Unassuming, intimate restaurant that easily accommodated our party of five. I asked for the vegan box listed on the menu, but was told they did not have all the ingredients to make the usual dishes, so the chef Kevin created a menu just for me. He was so creative, inventive, and excited about every dish he brought out of the kitchen, and each one was more delicious than the last. I am technically pescatarian, so a few of the dishes had fish sauce, but he would have easily accommodated me with a vegan or vegetarian menu as well. It was honestly one of the most incredible dining experiences I have ever had. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the Miami/ Coral Gables area.“

“The dining experience was absolutely immaculate. From overall ambiance to the wide selection of dishes, Anaba was the happiest spur-of-the-moment decision we’ve ever made. Marco was our waiter, and he did an exceptional job of giving us recommendations for the meal, right down to helping us select the best drinks to pair with our Omakase and Salomon & Ikura dishes. This is going to be a new favorite spot, and we can’t wait for our next visit!“

“I felt very othered here when I came to celebrate a milestone. I don’t want to make it racial, but as the only person to lower their voice as the only black person in the restaurant, it felt very jarring to see everyone else speaking at a louder volume than I was and any it wasn’t a problem. Delicious food but shitty vibes. Especially for what I was paying. Won’t be back. If black I guess beware.“

He checked on us just the right amount and had great food recommendations. Everything came out fresh and delicious. Definitely ask for Carlos if you go, he’s the best!“
