“I want to thank the pleasant young man that worked on Thursday evening, Jan.11, 2024. He made the best and freshest Subway sandwich that I ever had. I placed an online order for 2 footlongs and the bread, meat and vegetables were super fresh, and the sandwiches were nicely prepared.When I arrived to pick up my order, he quickly acknowledged me with a friendly smile, he made me feel welcome and he had my order ready to go. I also noticed that the restaurant was very bright and clean, including the tables.This was the best Subway experience that I had in Daytona Beach.

“I love this place!
I’ve been going to this iconic vintage Dairy Queen outlet for the last 20 years. It is THE Dairy Queen for the New Smyrna Beach area, and if you’re driving through and need something, sweet or salty, you won’t regret stopping by.
A number of years ago, they purchased the property next-door and created more shaded parking areas, so there’s usually plenty of spaces available. They also added more outdoor seating, all nicely shaded with huge umbrellas.
If you go on a Wednesday, like I did this week, don’t be surprised if there’s a short wait in the line, because on Wednesdays they have their “$1.99 Banana Split Special”, and they are popular! (Insider tip: Ask for the sprinkled nuts as an extra topping.)
They have other specials every day of the week, see the list below.
To top it all off, their servers are smiling, happy, friendly people, who will make you feel like you just stepped back in time to the 1970s, when life was simple and wonderful, and when people interacted with EACH OTHER, instead of with a metal & glass contraption that you had glued to your hand. “The drive-through is like all drive throughs can be a little slow. The walk-up service is slower than the drive-through, just for the fact they're trying to move the lines. Dining at the facility is subpar, just 3 tables, which tells me they don't want you hanging around, rather get your food and go. Staff as with all chick-fil-a's are friendly and polite.

“First discovered this place in Minnesota. Was told they were the best tenders I'd ever taste. I enjoyed them, and it had been over 10 years since I'd had them. Tried them again at this location, and brought someone along to taste the magic I once had. Needless to say neither myself or my guest were blown away. But it was good. And fresh.“

“Well let me start and say that i have allergies to fish , cheese .
The food here is good and the service is excellent. But when I ask do they fry their fries , chicken , cheese sticks in the same oil they said yes , but when I ask other abrys restaurants they say no they don't.
So this restaurant knows the importance of food allergies and do care about their customers .
But make sure you get your receipt just in case you have issues .“

“When I arrived, the GM was staffing the counter. There were arcade machines in a row, which was awesome and kind of blew my mind. I've never been a fan of TF, not because of the quality of the food, but because I never order the right thing (my own fault). The GM patiently walked me through what I might want and helped me make decisions when I was indecisive. The food ended up being perfect for me (the tacos with hard and soft shell combined), as a combo for about eight bucks. I'm full! The quality was perfect, and I forgot to get sauce from the sauce bar (which I was disappointed about). The tacos ended up not needing it, the cheese between the shells and sour cream did the work. Very flavorful, filling, and simple at a great price. Taco Tuesday discount. Extra buck for an extra taco, I had three.

The only constructive feedback I could give is to place a small receptacle near the straws for wrappers. The vibe is that they clean up after you, so leave your trash wherever, but if you're like me you're probably not going to feel comfortable doing that with a straw wrapper on a to-go order. No reinforcing the litter muscle memory.

Anyway, awesome spot, much improved since my last visit to the franchise. I was impressed not only with the food and the manager but also the franchise rules that allow some freedom in operation for creativity. Very cool. Will be back.“

“I was in town visiting from Tennessee and stopped by this location. I must say this was the best Krystal experience I have yet to have. The restaurant was tidy and up kept. The employee at the counter Mr. Brian was very pleasant and answered my questions about certain menu items with ease. Brian took our order and what seemed like second later our food was hot and ready! Our burgers were delicious and the customer service was great! Will definitely revisit whenever I am back in town! “Came here the other day and the food was out the window so fast I thought for sure it would be terrible. But to my surprise it was excellent. Just now 8/9/25 at 215 pm we came back and this is definitely the best Taco Bell on the planet. Patricia the cashier was super friendly and had the food out in a minute and it was as fresh as fast food could possibly be.“

“The food was good. Sadly for my first experience there the customer service was a big chaotic. They have to rush taking orders because of the volume of people they get. No one working the line Carrie’s a smile on their face. They look stressed out and overwhelmed which made me so sad to see since they are all pretty young. “I love this place. It can be hit or miss at times. I've had the gizzards, the wings and the fish with shrimp. The food is good although it's not highly seasoned. The flavor comes from the lemon pepper that they sprinkle on top. With that being said, sometimes the food is sprinkled well and sometimes it's not. Be sure to ask for lemon pepper on the meat and the fries. Sometimes the fries can be a little under done and not drained well which makes them soggyy. The service is exceptional and my food has never been cold. Also, the lunch specials are worth the price. My biggest complaint is that there has been a bad smell inside of the restaurant on a few occasions. It smell like they have issues with the pipes. I hate this for them. I hope they can get that situation taken care because it gives a bad impression. Overall, I give this establishment 4 stars.“

“Immediately noticed counter person "Annice" was genuinely happy polite and courteous. There are not many tables inside the building and they were all filled up. Even though it was raining I sat at a semi-dry table outside under the awning. The door opened up and Anicce said you're food is ready come inside. I said there are no tables. She said I just cleaned off a nice table for you come inside. she seated me and serve my food and I watched her treat everyone else with the same demeanor. I hope you take good care of her on payday because she is a five star employee“

“We drove nearly an hour from Palm Coast to come to this location for our first time yesterday... My husband is originally from Southern Cali and loves this place so when I saw an article about this Del Taco opening near us, I knew we had to take a lil road trip! We were immediately greeted by an incredibly sweet employee at the register, Cassie (spelling?). I think she was in love with our old service pup and simply so kind to us. She was very accommodating and patient with our order too. The facility looked very clean and it wasn't too busy. Our food came out quickly and was everything hubby remembered it was. I had only been to one in SoCal once with him years ago but this location was a better experience for me. After we ate, we ordered more food to take home for later. I normally won't eat "fast food" and Lord knows I am not supposed to eat dairy but I couldn't help myself. It was definitely worth the trip and we will be back.“

There was a store near where we were staying in Daytona Beach SHores so popped over the bridge to our nearest sub shop. Per usual this store did not disappoint. Subs were made to order and tasted absolutely delicious. We took ours to go and enjoyed them at the beach. Highly recommend!!!“

I wish I would’ve gotten the young man’s name, but he was friendly and took time to ensure Ingot exactly what I wanted. He even went above and beyond by double checking after I got what I ordered (I wanted more berries but wasn’t going to ask) but he could tell by looking at me. “The mgmnt of this McDonald's was the best we've seen in many, many years. Starting at walking in, we were greeted and NOT told to use the kiosk but took our order.
