“The food and service are not an issue both are outstanding. This is a theme restaurant a theme I like I am old South? nostalgia means a lot to me I am certainly willing to pay anyone who can take me back to my childhood this place does just that. I have gotten to old to deal with crowds we go places like this in the off season. I would receive a bit of modernization reservations required and observed. The 18 percent gratuity has not been an issue because we have not had a bad experience if there is a manager on site to speak with should there be a problem there behavior would decide if we returned. Been going for year's I do believe the new management is a vast improvement.“

“My husband and I stopped into the Bake Chop for the first time today for lunch and we really enjoyed our food. I had the Boulevard (grilled chicken balsamic glaze sandwich) omg! 🤤 absolutely delicious. My hubby had a burger no bun with lettuce and he enjoyed every bit of it too. “I recently visited Wing Express at 955 S Woodland Blvd, DeLand, FL and ordered two hibachi chicken platters for takeout. Although the restaurant was quiet inside, they appeared busy with several to-go orders. I placed my order and waited around 20 minutes, which seemed reasonable given the circumstances. The chicken was excellent, but the egg fried rice was somewhat bland, and I noticed a few hard pieces of rice. However, the portion sizes were generous, and overall, I would consider returning to try a different dish next time.“

“Nice spot with good atmosphere overlooking the small regional airport. Seating outside either at the bar or at tables next to a stage. No music when we visited but was told it was going to resume in August. I did not check the inside but as long as there's seating outside - that's where I want to be. Food was good (hamburger) and the people next to me were having wings - great according to them. If I'm spending time in that area...I will definitely visit again!“

“The food is absolutely delicious! Just to note it is a very busy place. We arrived just 11 minutes after they opened and we walked in and it was already packed out. None the less everything is freshly made which is fantastic! We had a great server and did not wait too long for our food. We will definitely make this a go to spot. “I have eaten at Dudley’s almost weekly since She opened her door . DeLand was in such need of a good non commercial family type place to eat. The owner Annamarie offered just that. The food was awesome the service so cozy, friendly and inviting. Now she was forced to close, please pray she finds a new spot and reopens soon.“
