This is a theme restaurant a theme I like I am old South? nostalgia means a lot to me I am certainly willing to pay anyone who can take me back to my childhood this place does just that. I have gotten to old to deal with crowds we go places like this in the off season. I would receive a bit of modernization reservations required and observed. The 18 percent gratuity has not been an issue because we have not had a bad experience if there is a manager on site to speak with should there be a problem there behavior would decide if we returned. Been going for year's I do believe the new management is a vast improvement.“

They could have told me to sit on a stump outside to finish eating. I WOULD have! I live near to twisted biscuit diner in Tavares.Have eaten there often. THE biscuit at Deland Eatery!! Why go to TB anymore? I am forever spoiled by the quality and freshness.Light perfect biscuit. Why were they out of biscuits another reviewer asked ? Go eat before noon here. “The chili cheeseburger was Awesome, absolutely perfect. I’m so used to being disappointed by the burgers at restaurants the Half Wall burger was a welcome surprise. The service by Phoebe was very good too.“

“I’ve been trying breaded pork tenderloin sandwiches all over the area and I was excited to see that Big Rig 2 offers one! I enjoyed the light/crispy batter and juicy cutlet, the thick tomato, and toasted bun! Size wise it is on the smaller end of BPTs I’ve had, and the fact that it only comes with chips makes it less than an amazing value at $16. Usually BPTs yield some leftovers for me enjoy later, this did not. Service was friendly and efficient!“

“i order the 10pc wings with fries combo to go and they are always steaming hot !! it might take a while to make when i get there after ordering on the phone, but ive never had an issue with the food. The wings are so flavorful cooked to perfection (usually order them extra crispy) same with the fries everything is just fresh. Wing express is my go to wing place here in deland . I recommend coming here if you want good wings“

“This restaurant has unfair business practices! I've been 4 times and every time I think it will be different...but each time they pad their bill....so beware and check....The charges on the bill have been higher than what's on the menu...Today they charged 75 cents for dressing on a salad....not extra dressing...Dressing always comes with a salad...Then there was a total of over $1 added for ingredients published on the menu as coming with the salad. Every time I have questioned the server they say the manager is not there...I guess the restaurant runs itself. No adjustment and of course it makes the tax higher. So, to make it up, no tip ...I usually over tip but was so disgusted. To have this happen 4 times is not a mistake.... Don't go there...“

My husband built his with Chopped Brisket over Tater Tots and Dirty Rice, topped with Crushed BBQ Chips, Bacon Bits and Sweet BBQ sauce. He enjoyed his as well.“

“2 scoops of frozen vanilla custard with hot caramel and banana slices at Culver’s is one of life’s great joys! I enjoy their burgers and fried cheese curds as well, but nothing makes me happier than their custard! Service is always quick and friendly, and the restaurant is always clean!“

“This locally owned bar grill was amazing. German food. The cuts of meat are delicious and they perfectly cook it how you want it. No drink list but that's kind of expected at a small bar grill. Waitress and owner are very kind and friendly. Will be going back !“

“Very disappointed, you'd think ordering a steak here they would cook it to the right temp. They didn't even get it close, by time we were checked on again and offered a refire. Which I am honesty not a fan of for many reasons. My son had already finished eating. So I'd requested boxes and to speak with a manager. After the manager admitted they did not even get it close to medium, but it was a perfect rare. Which I had not ordered due to my inability to eat a rare steak because of my dentures. His reasoning was because sometimes when they get an evening rush this kinda thing happens. This was not a satisfactory response for me. If you are going to charge me $35 dollars for a steak, there is no reason why it should not be cooked correctly! We drove up from Ormond Beach hungry and I left feeling tha same way. Just 70$ less in my pocket. :-/ ha“
