“Ponte does not disappoint! I took my husband there last night for his birthday and from start to finish, it was an amazing experience. The atmosphere is elegant and modern but not ostentatious or garish. The food and drinks were creative, expertly prepared, beautifully presented, and unbelievably delicious. And I cannot say enough about the staff. From Samantha, the hostess; Tyler, the manager; Bill, our server; and Matt, the sous chef; to the young man serving the bread and the multiple other staff who kept our water glasses full, everyone was professional, pleasant, knowledgeable and engaging. Samantha, in particular, handled a very aggressive and arrogant disgruntled man in the most diplomatic and professional manner. And this man was so aggressive that my husband and I almost intervened on Samantha’s behalf. But her diplomacy and professionalism did not waiver. To say she impressed us is an understatement. All in all, this was by far one of the best, if not the best restaurant experiences we have ever had. We will definitely return.“

“Food: excellent chili and dessert. The mains were good, but not great. The tomahawk pork pales in comparison to what they serve st Perry's. Service was good atmosphere was good but very loud. At the price point....its a tough choice whether or not I would return.“

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ocean Prime, and it was nothing short of a memorable culinary journey. From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, we were greeted by a beautiful ambiance that set the stage for an unforgettable evening. We had the foresight to make reservations in the bar lounge area, and it was the perfect choice for a romantic night out. The dimly lit setting, accentuated by the soothing blue ambient lighting, created an intimate atmosphere that was simply enchanting. To top it off, we were pleasantly surprised to find our booth adorned with birthday arrangements before our arrival—a thoughtful touch that added an extra layer of warmth to our experience. As we settled in, we indulged in the Tequila Cocktails, which were both delicious and generously poured. After just one sip, I felt invigorated and ready to fully immerse myself in the culinary delights that awaited us.For appetizers, we opted for the Jumbo Crab Cake and Caviar Deviled Eggs, and they did not disappoint. The portion sizes were generous, and each bite was a symphony of flavors that left us craving for more. It was the perfect start to our gastronomic adventure. For the main course, I savored the Scallops and Risotto, and it was a match made in culinary heaven. The scallops were perfectly cooked, and the risotto was creamy and flavorful—a true delight for the taste buds. My date opted for the Lobster Linguini, and it was equally impressive. The lobster was succulent, and the linguini was perfectly cooked, resulting in a dish that was nothing short of perfection. In conclusion, Ocean Prime offers not just a meal, but a luxurious dining experience that tantalizes the senses and leaves a lasting impression. From the beautiful ambiance to the delectable cuisine, every aspect of our evening was impeccable. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply indulging in a night out, Ocean Prime is sure to exceed your expectations.“

“Don’t typically write reviews but I want to start giving people their flowers more. Upon entry, we were greeted by a sweet and confident host - She addressed me by name and said happy birthday upon locating my reservation - Thank you Kirsten!Coming from a restaurant background, I subconsciously count the minutes it takes to be greeted once sat. Welp, Brandon greeted us with within 2 minutes and immediately acknowledged the celebration in our visit. He was very personable, diligent and knowledgeable on all things Capital Grille. Our food was brought to us in a timely manner. Each course was cleared prior to bringing out the next which I can always appreciate. Brandon checked on us about 60-90 seconds after each course was delivered which is an absolutely bonus to me!We had the following:Cesar Salad: 8.5/10Lobster Bisque: 8/10NY Strip: 8.5/10 - I could’ve used a tad more flavorFilet: 9/10 - “ “Lobster Mac: 7/10Cream Corn w/bacon: 7.5/10Crème Brûlée: 8.5/10Really appreciates the complimentary dessert and birthday candle. All in all, good food, AMAZING SERVICE! “Brandon was our bartender and he was super nice, attentive and made our short time in Tampa a blast. We had the crab fries, bang bang shrimp and caesar salad for appetizers. I had the espresso martini and my friend had the Bellini and an old fashioned. All the drinks were good. We will definitely be back!“

“This was my first time at this restaurant and The people at the front counter were extremely nice and helpful. I ordered two chicken tacos and a California burrito to go. The meal came with chips and salsa and I ordered a side of queso. The tacos had awesome flavor. I would definitely order those again. The burrito I took back to the hotel and ate it that evening for dinner, and it was exceptional. I found out that this is a family owned business and there is only one the place. It was filled with people and it seemed that everybody was enjoying what they had ordered. I would highly recommend going to this place. I just wish they had one closer to my house, when I'm in the area, I will definitely stop and eat here again.“

“This was my first time at Charlie’s and wow, just wow! This place just screams old money. The ambivalence was superb. We were sat in the bar area in a lovely booth. Our waitress was a doll, along with the rest of the staff that helped out. Their selection of meats was out of this world and of course the quality of the meats was the best I’ve seen. As to be expected, with such quality foods came matching prices. This is not a place to go unless you’re ready to spend a pretty penny. There is nothing cheap on the menu so just be ready for that. We all loved our food, the only one thing we weren’t the most fond of was the wedge salad. It was very heavy and had too much dressing for our liking. We still ate it but wouldn’t order again. The house salad was awesome! Loved the dressing and variety.“

“We had family in town and made reservations for 5 for 230 pm on last Friday the 26th of April. They have tons of parking and outside the building looks good. As soon as you walk in you see the pizza oven, the open chargrill cooking area, and the pizza prep area. When you walk in the aromas of fresh food cooking, garlic, and smoky grills are absolutely amazing. The inside is spotlessly clean, with beautiful imported ceramic décor and plenty of tables and booths. The bathrooms are the nicest I have seen and very clean. We were seated immediately and our waiter Jacob was prompt and flawless throughout the dinner.I have dined at restaurants all up and down the East coast, the Keys, and Cali. I ordered Nanas' meatballs for an appetizer and they were so very good. The sauce was also very good. For my entre I ordered the charred sea bass, and it was a home run. THE BEST fish I ever ate and I'm in my 50's, so that says a lot.EVERYONE at the table was so happy with the food they received! Top shelf service, very clean, nice ambiance, reasonable prices, and fresh, delicious food! What more could someone ask for?Thank you Casa Santo Stefano for making our visit special and memorable! You guys are the best and we will return when in Tampa. Cheers!!!“

“We've been to Eddie V's several times and it is consistently a great experience. The food is tasty, the service attentive, and the atmosphere sophisticated and comfortable. We especially appreciate that background noise and music doesn't disrupt our conversation as it does so many other places. We started with the crab cake appetizer which had ample crab and a nice crispy exterior. On this visit I again went with the Chilean Sea Bass. The only problem I have with it is that it's so good I haven't been willing to order anything else on the menu... yet. I recommend getting the crab fried rice to go with the sea bass. If you do, add it to the bowl the sea bass is served in so the rice can absorb some of the sauce. It's a game changer. I have an intense dislike for bananas but my family wanted the bananas foster butter cake. After they removed the bananas, which they loved, the butter cake was outstanding. It's definitely worth having, but considering the calories in it it's probably best to share.“

“An esthetically beautiful place with stylish interior, good quality service, an acceptable, but not outstanding food. First disappointment was when I was greeted by one of hostesses who did not smile or made me feel welcome. She also provided lunch menus instead of brunch menus as it seemed that doing her job was a bother to her. Luckily, our server, Frankie, was great, and he made sure we got the attention we needed. He described Predalina as a Seafood-Driven Mediterranean Cuisine restaurant, explained in details various menu items, and made some food recommendations. However, when one of my friends received her Crab Benedict, lump crab patty was extremely dry / overcooked and poached eggs that are usually the star of any eggs Benedict, to our great disappointment, looked more like hard-boiled eggs. Manager stopped by the table to take the benedict back to substitute for an omelet. Myself and my other friend ordered an omelet each also, I just added avocado to mine. I'd give this omelet 4.5 stars. It came with a side salad + roasted tomato, spinach, onion, feta, chive inside the omelet, crispy potato, and a toasted sourdough on a side - which was so delish! My hazelnut latte was 3/5 only because hazelnut syrup tasted artificially, but both of my friends really enjoyed their decaf latte as well as lavender chai latte. One more thing I would like to mention is that it was very cold inside. *Parking: you can park at $4 per hour at E. Cumberland Avenue parking garage with plenty of space available or use a valet for $30+. I look forward to trying this place for dinner. Hoping for a 5-star experience next time.“

“Super excited to have this hidden gem not even 10 minutes from my house! Super hidden in the corner of a small shopping centre that I never would have known about unless my friend hadn't found it on the UberEats app. I tried multiple items including their cheese corn, japchae, bulgogi, and hotteok and each one hit the spot perfectly. Can't wait to go back again soon and try more of their menu!“

“I have literally waited 15 years to have this meal! The Shells in Miami closed around 2008/2009, and it was my absolute favorite restaurant - I used to go with my family at least once a month, and always looked forward to the barrel of peanuts, Shark Attack drink, and a hefty portion of snow crab legs while being surrounded by the underwater/fishing themed decor. When I came to this Shells location in Tampa, it was like I was transported back in time! This place has kept its cute marine decor and still upholds the same quality of food I obsessed over all those years ago. Since this was such a special occasion, I opted for a smorgasburg meal. We started with the Fried Calamari, crisped to golden perfection, which I washed down with a delicious Piña Colada. As a second appetizer, I had the Clam Chowder, which was so good and chock full of nice big chunks of clam meat in a creamy, salty soup base. For my entree, I had the Seafood Pasta, an incredible dish which came with a side of garlic toast to sop up all the cream sauce afterwards. I got a half pound of steamed Snow Crab legs on the side, which were the food I was most excited to have but was the only thing I was slightly let down by - the crab legs were fresh and meaty, but I could tell they had been frozen because the body meat was very cold. Nonetheless, my meal was amazing and my only regret is not saving room for dessert! Next time, I'll order the Shark Attack, try the Shrimp and Crab Dip, and get a bigger bowl of the Clam Chowder...and maybe wear some bigger pants!“

“Most of the tables are reserved without patrons for hours as we sat on uncomfortable tall bar stools that was disappointing. Octopus was good. Parking was $15 Drinks were good but expensive $16 for a rum- pineapple/curaco.Parking: 16$ Parking is rather difficult and very expensive. Homeless people around the area when I went to pay for parking I had to open my purse and then I was asked for money on the way in and on the way out. I was very nervous because I was by myself and could not figure out the parking. Be careful if wearing heels the pavement is broken and many places and I almost twisted my ankle a few times. I don't like to valet But valet is $10 plus tip“

“Overall, this restaurant has a great atmosphere, friendly service and the prices are very reasonable for what you get. Parking is easy and free. I would like to point out a few things that made this experience a little less enticing. My old fashioned was in a very heavy, medium-sized glass, which made the pour look very small. It just felt odd to drink from this glass as an avid consumer of this style of drink. Also, the large ice cube actually melted entirety before I could finish it which I have never had happen before. I literally walked from the bar to my table and before my steak arrived the cube was gone, which watered down my cocktail. I'm not sure if they use half size cubes, but there was plenty of room in that glass for a full sized cube to make that drink better. The drink tasted fine, but using a shorter, lighter glass with a large cube would make it more consistent with the swanky style of that cocktail.Another thing that was odd, was we ordered the lobster topped steak special for the night at $48. It came out with a full plate of french fries, like a meal from a diner. It may just be my opinion, but if we are going to order a meal that is $50, some elevated sides to accompany lobster may be more appropriate than fries. They were cold, and the steak needed more seasoning, so that didn't help either. I did have the filet mignon prepared medium rare and it was perfect. Again, it could have also had more flavor to the meat, but for $46 it was great with a loaded baked potato and Béarnaise sauce. The best part was the lemon cheesecake with raspberry sauce. It was refreshing and delicious. I definitely recommend that with an espresso martini. It was a little on the creamy side, but made well to accompany a dessert.Overall, this restaurant is perfect to celebrate a special occasion or grab a bottle of wine from their huge selection. It just doesn't compare steak wise to other more elevated restaurants in the area. The menu selections were very diverse with many different options, that they didn't really specialize in one thing.“

“Great service, very friendly staff who are also informative! Ordered the hog fish sandwich and fish croquettes. The croquettes are these delicious fish cakes deep fried- wow! It was my favorite item that I ordered. Definitely recommend. The hog fish was a yummy sweet fish fried and placed on a sweet hamburger bun with a thin leaf of lettuce. Tartar sauce is a must , otherwise it can be a rather dry sandwich. I’ll be back- certainly a hidden gem.“

“In the new year, my husband has been to this restaurant over ten times. LOL we are addicted!! Their poke bowls are jam packed with deliciousness. The biggest thing I appreciate is that they don't cut up two shrimp into pieces like other poke bowl places I've been to. Instead they give you like 8 big shrimp lightly breaded. The price I am paying is actually worth what I'm getting unlike other places. And their breading is gluten free! You can make your bowl really healthy with options like kale salad and quinoa! Their spring rolls are also pretty good. They have other things on the menu that I personally don't care to try but they have so many options!!! Really great customer service and delicious tasting food! Of course, we will be back again! Thank you for making our busy lives less stressful with delicious dinner“

“Lilli’s Crab Cakes were pretty good. My aunt decided to bring me a crab cake, so I do not have an opinion on the prices. The presentation of the crab cake I could describe as crispy, and thin. I thought the dough was deeply fried. I thought the dough tasted starchy in a sense. The crab was grinded and was more on the salty side. The cheese was my favorite part. It brought all the flavors together. I enjoyed my crab cake. Good spot to check out in my opinion.“
