“We ended up getting the gyoza as an appetizer. Omg they were cooked perfectly! And the sauce was delicious!
We got 2 hibachi orders too. One chicken and scallops and one steak and chicken. The yum yum sauce was amazing and the food was delicious! I'm definitely going back.

Ended up spending about $65 on the appetizer and 2x combo platters which isn't bad for the amount and the mix.

“Well prepared dishes that are prepared beautifully with complex flavors. Wontons are a staple on the menu and when you try them you will understand why. Delicate and savory goodness. The other two dishes we ordered were just okay (potato dumplings and cauliflower). I’m sure some of the other items were super yummy but our stomachs could only handle a light dinner (had a super late lunch). The service was very knowledgeable and polite. Please keep in mind they do not alter their menu items so those who have dietary concerns should call ahead since they change their menu often. The ambiance was just okay. It’s located inside a Citibank building on the ground floor. Lighting could be better and perhaps an upgrade on seating and tables. Totally doable but a bit dated. All in all a lovely experience.“

“Got the wonton soup and something that was half rice with random meats and noodles with random meats. The soup was good, crisp, and filled with MSG - it really hit the spot. The rice & noodle dish was greasy hell. They could turn down on the frying oils and still serve good food.

Not the best but decent enough for a decent price. Definitely a lot better than a lot of places in Miami.

I got to the Homestead store and of course my order was not there. Well I called back and explained and asked what coul I do . IO was like let me speak to my Manager. “Absolutely delicious spot for a wide range of Asian cuisines. Portion sizes are generous for the prices as well. They’ve got all standard flavors of boba tea; I can personally recommend the taro milk tea with jelly.
The people here are extremely kind and always remember a customer’s face and even their regular orders if they’ve got one.
Can’t recommend this place enough for a filling and delicious meal.

“This has not been my first time dining at sushi Maki in Dadeland. I actually go quite often and take my parents with me. Today is my parents 58th wedding anniversary and they both wanted to go to sushi maki to celebrate for lunch. As always we were greeted with friendly hand waves. Leo was our waiter and gave us the incredible service that we are used to. We told him we were there to celebrate my parents anniversary and at the end of our meal he brought out an assortment of dessert treats on the house. I will say it again this is the best sushi maki with the best employees and the best service! Thank you Leo for making it so special.“

I got a 3 and it was plenty warm. Really flavorful large bowl of noodles with plenty of shrimp. The wife had the chicken Pad Thai that was also very authentic, big portion. “Just a very good take out Chinese spot. If you tried other Chinese/ Cantonese food, you need to try this one. It's above the average of other Chinese food. Just tastier in my opinion. They include sushi in their menu but I'm telling you ,even basic stuff like their egg drop soup is better than most. This place hits the spot every time we order take out from my job on the weekends. The dinner combo is a great dollar deal too. Lots of food for the price. I'd enjoy this anytime.“
