I am very well aware of the experience the staff has in dealing with large parties, but I wanted to tale the opportunity to thank everyone involved. From the event coordinator with whom I had constant communication to ensure thst every detail was in place, to the staff thst served us and to Nicholas, the evening manager. “5 stars across the board!!! The staff and owners are so kind and caring, they make you feel like family. The food was amazing and I absolutely recommend their hibachi and their udon. My husband and I choose to have it spicy although you have the option to choose if you prefer spicy or not. The chef was so genuine himself he made sure to come out and see how you liked the food, while the owners took care of every need and constantly checked in to see how they can help. This was the best udon I have ever had, and the combination of delicious food and such sweet people made this the best experience ever. Totally recommend!!!“

“I’ve dined at this restaurant for the past 10 years of my life. I’m just ecstatic that they are finally here in Miami. The quality of the sushi and overall food and service in this place is outstanding. Chef Carmona has made sure he built an iconic restaurant that stands out from the overly-trendy yet tasteless food found often in new restaurants in this city. Definitely, recommend getting the Noe Tataki, Nubori, Lamb Ossobucco and Ecuadorian beer - Club. Also kudos to Daniela and her great service.

And price wise…incomparable. Beats Zuma any day.

“Great place for a date night, a eat out night with friends or family. It starts with their great staff, beautifully decorated interior and then you have spectacular food from across Asia. You like spicy they have it, you don't want they have it, udon you got it. Great place have enjoyed it so much we got 2 of our kids a via gift card as an XMAS present this year so they could go. O and BTW the prices are Soo reasonable especially in this economy. Check them out and you'll be a fan too“

“I had the combination, shrimp clams, and crawfish. With corn potato sausage in a butter garlic sauce. (Mild) It was the best I’ve ever had. I had the bib and gloves it was fantastic. After I finished the meal, I hadn’t realized it was for two people. I was stuffed, but I ate it because it was so damn good. You think you can open a restaurant in New York? “I came in yesterday @ 9:45 and wow. I never want to be that person to arrive when a kitchen is closing. You may think my experience was terrible, but it’s the exact opposite. I was greeted with open arms and a smile. It was just me at the bar, as to what i previously mentioned I ordered quickly.

The chef didn’t skip a beat, details, flavor, presentation were on point. On some of the dishes I was pleasantly surprised.

“Without a doubt, this is my absolute favorite sushi spot in Miami. Tonight's meal was incredible! The Tiradito appetizer was a revelation – the fresh salmon, tuna, and white fish, simply dressed in lime juice with a hint of salt and seeds, were melt-in-your-mouth perfection. The sushi pizza? An addictive fusion of Latin flavors that's impossible to resist. I also tried two new items: the Kiss Me Twice Roll with roasted bell peppers and the Dubai Crepe, both instant favorites. “Got the wonton soup and something that was half rice with random meats and noodles with random meats. The soup was good, crisp, and filled with MSG - it really hit the spot. The rice & noodle dish was greasy hell. They could turn down on the frying oils and still serve good food.

Not the best but decent enough for a decent price. Definitely a lot better than a lot of places in Miami.

My first time trying this place was via delivery and I couldn’t believe how good the food tasted even as a delivery so I had to go in person and try it and it was just as amazing. I love the Korean Kimchi Ramen and their appetizer (creamy shrimp & Dumpling with Sichuan Sauce) are so good too. The Thai donuts are just perfect. “This has not been my first time dining at sushi Maki in Dadeland. I actually go quite often and take my parents with me. Today is my parents 58th wedding anniversary and they both wanted to go to sushi maki to celebrate for lunch. As always we were greeted with friendly hand waves. Leo was our waiter and gave us the incredible service that we are used to. We told him we were there to celebrate my parents anniversary and at the end of our meal he brought out an assortment of dessert treats on the house. Pretty much a diamond in the rough.Large menu to choose from kinda covers all of east Asia.I ordered the shrimp drunken noodles and they’ll heat it up on a 1 to 5 range in heat. I got a 3 and it was plenty warm. Really flavorful large bowl of noodles with plenty of shrimp. The wife had the chicken Pad Thai that was also very authentic, big portion. They include sushi in their menu but I'm telling you ,even basic stuff like their egg drop soup is better than most. This place hits the spot every time we order take out from my job on the weekends.
