“Loud obnoxious music that they won't turn down. No getting away from the boom, boom bass. It's in the bathrooms. Can't hear the boats go by. Between songs you get a break and can enjoy the light chatter of people talking for 30 seconds and then the booming music starts again. Food and service is mediocre. Lot's of other waterfront restaurants to enjoy.“

The sandwich was terrific, but the coleslaw is mind blowing! We also got the key lime pie. I’d get all of it again! Hoping our next visit will be by boat!“

“Jeremy the host was very welcoming and explained the difference between the dining room upstairs and the tavern/bar downstairs. This was our first visit and he suggested upstairs. We were sat at a lovely table outside overlooking the water. Our waitress Becky was very attentive professional and pleasant. The food did take longer than expected but overall the quality was very good.“

“Incredible food, drinks and service at Veronica's Fish and Oyster Bar last night for our Anniversary 💍🍾🥂 Highly recommend! We shared the octopus appetizer. My hubby had the skirt steak. I had the whole branzino (not pictured BC the photo was too blurry) it came with the Greek salad. We shared the wild mushrooms and the roasted Brussel sprouts. They also have a fabulous selfie mirror in the ladies room 😍 Our waitress Alexandra was amazing and even brought us a free dessert to celebrate 🥳“

“I come here every Friday and Tuesday. Best beer in town and PigFish has best pub food I’ve found here, they should expand the menu slightly. Side note I only eat meat if I know it’s not sourced Sysco, US Foods, etc, Pigfish has a good vibe“

“We just happened upon El Ceviche and with knowledge that ceviche was invented in Peru and I hadn't had it in a long time, we ventured in with no recommendation from anyone. What a find! Best shrimp ceviche ever! My husband ordered a beef dish, Lomo Saltado and said it was delicious. Peruvian corn was a real treat. This is on my Best Of list! Go. Eat. Enjoy.“

“My family and I ate at Old Salty Dog in Venice Friday and were blown away at the quality of the food, the fantastic prices, and most importantly the hospitality of the staff. The frisbee plates for the kids meals were such a cute and appreciated touch! Linda P was our waitress and she was amazing! She was on point with everything and was such a hoot! I’ve been vacationing in FL for almost 30 years and this restaurant is by far and away the best food and value I’ve found in YEARS. I cannot recommend enough and CAN’T WAIT to return!“

Today, we found our new go to spot for Indian on Fruitville and Honoree called Royal Peacock. Food fresh, great taste and aroma, impeccable service, not over the top pricing and a clean pleasant atmosphere. “Our second visit and sat outside on covered patio, which was nice. Our server, Stephanie, was friendly and attentive. We loved the short rib spring rolls and a special sea bass cake was also good. We split the filet, which included au gratin potatoes and asparagus. Potatoes good. Asparagus too large and fibrous. Steak was ok, more the cut than the prep. Overall, we would come back.“
