They seem to use real crab meat wherever you would normally have “sea leg” and every single item in our order was delicious, super fresh, prepared uniquely, and reasonably priced. And it’s delivered! “Fantastic overall experience. They don’t have a lot of variety in the dishes so I can see how others can be upset about that, but for me every dish was amazing.

The only flaw was there was zero explanation of the dishes, origins of the fish, flavor profiles, etc. they just made the dishes and gave it to you. For those who have been to other omakases, there is usually a detailed presentation behind every dish which makes the experience so much better because you actually get to understand what makes the dish special.“

“Went with some friends for Miami Spice and had SUCH a great experience. Our server April was an absolute sweetheart; so goodhumored, funny and attentive. She brought such a positive energy every time she came to check on our table, and had great referrals for us between the drinks and menus too. We LOVED all the appetizers: the chicharrones are SO good/addictive but the egg custard/onion soup fusion was a delightful surprise favorite for all of us. Our steaks were cooked to absolute PERFECTION 👌🏾 and while I was a fan of the chocolate tart, that carrot cake was a fantastic creation to enjoy. 100/10 Loved it!“

“The fish selection was just okay—nothing particularly special. I’d rate it 6/10. The presentation was much better at 8/10, and the service was a 7/10.

Overall, I don’t think the experience was worth the price. They also seemed to push drinks quite heavily, which made it feel like they were trying to encourage guests to spend more.

I’m glad we tried it so we could form our own opinion, but unfortunately, based on our experience, it’s not a place we would recommend to our friends.“

“I've been meaning to try Sushi Corner after reading many reviews about how tasty and affordable this restaurant is, finding all these reviews to be completely true! This hole in the wall gem of West Kendall is well worth your time to try! I came in with my boyfriend last night to their small no frills location and was immediately greeted by our server who was very attentive throughout our whole meal. It's true that they do serve everything using plastic ware which to me doesn't matter at all. I care about the quality of food and the food is definitely top notch! My boyfriend and I decided to order various menu items to share. I started with a hot bowl of Miso Soup $2 which was good; loved the portion which I felt was more than most places. Next we had the Rainbow Roll $10 (California roll topped w/various fish) which was glaringly fresh and came out beautifully. The Sexy Roll $10 (fish tempura, avocado, cilantro, jalapeño, rolled w/soy paper, tempura flakes, eel sauce, spicy mayo) was by far my favorite just because of all the incredible flavors in it. The Florida Roll $9 (spicy conch, cucumber, masago) definitely surprised me with its spice level and amount of conch within it. Lastly, we ordered the Sushi Corner Fried Rice $8 (chicken, shrimp, vegetables, and masago) which ultimately surprised me in portion and tastiness. The fried rice isn't over done with soy sauce so it remains tasting light though its also savory because of a smoky flavor. So tasty! “I was a bit disappointed with my lunch at SuViche. The ceviche tasted quite bland and was missing the bright citrus flavor that really makes ceviche stand out. Had it been dressed with a bit more citrus I think I would have enjoyed it much more. I ordered the lunch special with sushi and ceviche but I found the sushi had a bit too much mayonnaise. The flan was also denser than I expected and wasn’t my favorite. At $27 including the automatic 18% gratuity I didn’t feel it was a good value especially since I’ve had much better lunches elsewhere for less. Overall I’d give it 4 stars because the location is convenient. Unfortunately the food didn’t quite meet my expectations especially for the price.“

I came here on a date with a man who’s now my husband and the father of my children. Now, years later, we bring our kids with us, and they absolutely love it too. The food is always incredible. The sushi is consistently fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared, and we’ve never had a bad meal. But what truly makes Sakura stand out is the people. “I stumbled upon this little gem of a place. I had sashimi, tuna, salmon, eel and mahi. All perfect. I'm used to high quality sushi, so I admit I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. Even the regular salad was perfectly fresh, and the dressing homemade. The edamame was salted - just right! The sitting is limited to a bar, due to the very small size of the place. But that's fine by me. I wish them great success. It seems most of their business is take our orders. While I was the only dine in customer, they were kept busy taking phone orders - good for them!“
