They seem to use real crab meat wherever you would normally have “sea leg” and every single item in our order was delicious, super fresh, prepared uniquely, and reasonably priced. And it’s delivered! I don’t want to make it racial, but as the only person to lower their voice as the only black person in the restaurant, it felt very jarring to see everyone else speaking at a louder volume than I was and any it wasn’t a problem. Delicious food but shitty vibes. Especially for what I was paying. Won’t be back. If black I guess beware.“

“This is my favorite sushi restaurant in the US. I’ve lived in NYC, LA, Miami and this is the closest you’ll get to an authentic Japanese experience and setting. I lived in Brickell and find myself here once a week. Chef Takashi is an accomplished chef who prefers to operate in an intimate setting. He procures his Salmon from Scotland and his Tuna from Japan. No bad cuts, rice is perfect always. Every dish is excellent - sushi but also the salads and the hot dishes (gyu don, curry chicken, salmon belly). The setting feels like a small Japanese market where you’re surrounded by Japanese snacks and food supplies.“

The food is phenomenal, the ambiance, service and attention to detail were on point; all and everyone of the dishes were delicious and beautiful works of art, not too many that make you feel stuffed but more than enough so you leave satisfied. We had such a special night and felt the love in every dish, we felt as we were invited to the chefs home for dinner.

“I've been meaning to try Sushi Corner after reading many reviews about how tasty and affordable this restaurant is, finding all these reviews to be completely true! This hole in the wall gem of West Kendall is well worth your time to try! I came in with my boyfriend last night to their small no frills location and was immediately greeted by our server who was very attentive throughout our whole meal. It's true that they do serve everything using plastic ware which to me doesn't matter at all. I care about the quality of food and the food is definitely top notch! My boyfriend and I decided to order various menu items to share. I started with a hot bowl of Miso Soup $2 which was good; loved the portion which I felt was more than most places. Next we had the Rainbow Roll $10 (California roll topped w/various fish) which was glaringly fresh and came out beautifully. The Sexy Roll $10 (fish tempura, avocado, cilantro, jalapeño, rolled w/soy paper, tempura flakes, eel sauce, spicy mayo) was by far my favorite just because of all the incredible flavors in it. The Florida Roll $9 (spicy conch, cucumber, masago) definitely surprised me with its spice level and amount of conch within it. Lastly, we ordered the Sushi Corner Fried Rice $8 (chicken, shrimp, vegetables, and masago) which ultimately surprised me in portion and tastiness. The fried rice isn't over done with soy sauce so it remains tasting light though its also savory because of a smoky flavor. So tasty! Can't wait to try your other roles and highly recommend to anyone in the area as I think they also deliver!“

“First time coming, place is fabulous, environment is so nice and the decor around makes it so cozy. The boss is super friendly, take his word for whatever he suggests. The food was so goooodd and very affordable. Boss also gave us a free sample of the dessert which was very kind of him. “I recently went to this sushi spot in South Miami, and I’m still thinking about it. From the moment we sat down, everything just felt right. The owner even came out personally to check on us, making sure we got everything we ordered and asking for feedback, which made the whole experience feel really thoughtful and welcoming.

We ordered a mix of dishes, including Hamachi Crudo, spicy tuna crispy rice, the Hamachi Love Me roll, Crazy Roll, and the Acevichado roll, and honestly, every single thing was delicious. The Hamachi Crudo was my absolute favorite. I loved it so much I think I had three orders of it.

But the real surprise of the night was the carrot cake. I am a huge carrot cake fan, and this one completely blew me away. It was easily one of the best I have ever had, and it was so good I had to get one to go.

On top of all that, the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. They kept checking in to make sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing, which made the whole night even better.

If you are in South Miami and looking for a great sushi spot, this one is definitely worth checking out, especially for the Hamachi Crudo and that unforgettable carrot cake.“

The food is so good. Their zombie roll and cracker tuna are delicious. Have not been let down by an item. Great place for celebrating.

Wednesday nights have become our favorite tradition thanks to Gail! She’s like a mother bird, making sure everyone is fed, happy, and taken care of. She’s also spicy like wasabi, a little saucy, and always brings so much energy and personality to the experience. We genuinely look forward to seeing her every Wednesday.

The food is consistently delicious and fresh. The cracker tuna is absolutely outstanding and a must-order. The sushi is great quality, beautifully prepared, and always tastes fresh.
