“My first visit was today for my birthday and Ed was our waiter! He was wonderful! The food was top notch and views were amazing! We’ll be back with friends! I had the shrimp tacos! Very good!“

“Since I live in Ponce Inlet, I've been to Down the Hatch many times and have always found their seafood to be so fresh all the time. This time I had my sons visiting me from St. Louis, they wanted to eat at the best restaurant for seafood, and of course, we went right here and it didn't disappoint. They especially loved the shecrab soup with the sherry on the side. It was scrumptious. Their dinners were wonderful, as well as the desserts. Needless to say, we went home with plenty of leftovers. Steve, the server was great. All in all, it was a perfect night. So whether you live nearby or on vacation, make it a point to dine there.“

“This is a great place to put on your $100 Hamburger Run “to go” list. I got caught at Spruce Creek due to a weather delay and decided to try it out.

I had French Onion Soup (as the side dish) to my French Dip sandwich. Service was excellent to say the least and the food was delicious.

Give it a try and there is no need to worry about the private status of the Airpark as Chadd (owner of Yelvington Aviation Services next door) says everyone and anyone can be his guest. He also offers 100LL at his self-fueler that is even cheaper than Dunnellon or Umatilla! GO-go-go!“

“I am so happy that this restaurant has vegan options! Plus they fixed my dish without oil. I should've asked for no salt, too, because I found my dish too heavily seasoned with something that they said wasn't salt but it sure tasted that way. Enjoyed that yummy green juice and ate the tofu and gluten-free avocado toast and sent back the potatoes for a fresh order, no seasoning. Perfect! They were happy to accommodate. John and his staff were extremely attentive to our needs and requests during the planning, the implementation and execution of the party. The food display was magnificent. “Thank God for Culver's -they're AMAZINGLY GOOD! I had a 3 pc fish dinner and it was yummmm ? After Google maps sent me on a wild goose chase & ending up nearly wrecking my bike (due to storm trees being in the bike path)-I ended up at Culver's again 2 days later & once again I was BLOWN AWAY at the service and food! “This is cutest place! I visited Daytona Beach for my birthday. I met some friends from out of town that rode on the plane with a guy that recommended this location. Robin and Charlotte waited on us when we visited and we had an amazing time talking with them. We ordered the lobster rolls, Caesar salad, cookies and cream gelato, and key lime pie. The food was amazing!! We’re glad that we made the trip. I’ll definitely be visiting again! If you’re ever in the area, I highly recommend visiting this restaurant!!“

“Unfortunately our visit this time (we come about once per month) was subpar. The good stuff - food was excellent and our server was good. Bad stuff - we had a reservation but were made to wait 20 minutes. Your front staff seemed flustered. I have to assume the folks at the table that was promised to us stayed longer than they should have? Maybe you put folks there earlier with no reservation? That’s unclear. But what is clear is that the ability to make a reservation so we don’t have to wait keeps us coming to Sonapa. So it was a let down. I think better management of reserved tables is needed and if you seat someone without reservations at a table that is reserved for 5:45, let the party know they need to vacate by then.“

They also have options for salads, chicken, and of course you can get dessert with several options for shake and custard. If you want a quality meal at a family friendly price this is a good place to keep on your list of options.“

It was all amazing. wings had a light smoke taste but did not over kill the garlic Parmesan. crispy but not to hard. chicken tenders were amazing... unique taste. Gotta go to try it. food was cooked fresh, hot when delivered to table. fries served in little fry basket. seasoned just right. not soggy. The pricing I believe is very reasonable compared to other local restaurants. staff friendly and knowledge about food prepared. Highly recommend.
