Starbucks in Riverview

“I have become a new fan of Starbucks due to this one in the Winthrop Plaza. I have been there half a dozen times now and the staff here is phenomenal. Marie, Dom, and Luis always greet us with kind words and seem glad to see us with our children from Winthrop Charter School. We always have great service and short wait times. I highly recommend this Starbucks as do many of the people just chillin at the tables inside and out!!“

“This crew both morning and night is the only reason I refuse (if I can) to get my coffee anywhere else. They welcome me like I’m a family member, knows my complex pain in the rear order and never do I get a negative or huffy attitude about doing “extra” as I experience in other stores on a regular basis. Even when they have callouts or are extremely busy, they stop and make time for everyone as if they are only customer there. So I give them the highest rating I can with a smile as I get every time I pull up or walk into the store. Thank you to the best store I’ve come across in my 15 years of Starbucks addiction 😊❤“

“I absolutely love this location! Everyone is always so nice, welcoming, and friendly. Because of how comfortable the atmosphere is, I come here almost four times a week to complete my studies.

The location is always extremely clean, and you can see the entire team taking part in keeping everything organized and welcoming. Another thing that really impresses me is how everyone seems to know my name every time I walk in. They even remember little details from conversations I had weeks before, which makes the experience feel so personal.

I also love that when it’s not too busy, they will often bring your order directly to you. It’s amazing how much the team remembers about their regular customers. I have visited many other Starbucks locations, but I have never experienced one quite like this. I’ve even seen customers walk in and hear their names before they have a chance to place their order!

“I was at this starbucks inside target around 11am and the staff stood out to me today. Names I caught were Cindy (she was awesome) and Alba. Everyone there was smiling and so welcoming, didn’t feel rushed and they had so much care. Coming from someone who also has worked hospitality and customer service roles I could tell they were going above and beyond and really cared! Not to mention, they had my order out in less than 5 minutes. Thank you ladies!“

“I had such a great experience at this Starbucks today, and I especially wanted to recognize Willow.

When I was ordering the new S’mores Cold Brew through the drive-thru, I asked if it had milk in it because I’d never had a cold brew before. Willow explained that it doesn’t, and she kindly told me that if I didn’t like it, they could add some milk.

When I got to the window and tried it, I realized I did want milk added. I’m usually nervous to ask for changes because I often feel rushed or like I’m inconveniencing people at drive-thrus, but Willow couldn’t have been kinder. She asked if the drink was okay, happily added the milk without making me feel like I was a burden, and then checked one more time to make sure it was just right before I left.

Her kindness, patience, and genuine care completely changed my experience. It’s rare to come across someone who makes customers feel so comfortable and valued. I even called the store afterward because I wanted her manager to know how wonderful she was. I hope Starbucks recognizes what an incredible employee Willow is. She absolutely deserves it!“
