“I can’t believe it’s been over 3 years since Noble Rice opened and this was our very first visit! It absolutely blew us away. The service was impeccable. Hostess Angel greeted us warmly, and our server Allison A. was simply outstanding ~ easily one of the best experiences we’ve had anywhere in Tampa. We started with drinks, and every single one was perfect. The Lychee Martini was smooth and floral, the Espresso Martini had just the right kick, and the Haku ~ their version of a Moscow Mule ~ was phenomenal. My husband is a self-proclaimed Moscow Mule connoisseur, and he gave it high praise. The food? Next-level. The Tuna Carpaccio was the star of the show ~ literally melted in our mouths. We also loved the Classic Poké, Tempura Poké Rolls, and the Tekka Roll ~ all fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented with different types of soy causes for each. The only item that didn’t quite hit the mark for us was the Hanabi Maki ~ still very fresh, just not our personal favorite. I’m sure many others enjoy it! What really stood out was the service ~ something that has unfortunately been on the decline across Tampa in recent years. But at Noble Rice, everyone went above and beyond. Allison didn’t just take our order, she asked thoughtful questions about our taste preferences, made drink and dessert recommendations (the Panna Cotta dessert was heavenly), and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. Our only wish? Larger portions ~ because everything was so good, we didn’t want it to end. An amazing 18th anniversary dinner!! We’ll absolutely be back. “Isekai is a small, friendly, family-run operation with a creative menu and top-quality ingredients. This was the first place I found in Tampa that offers toro (fatty tuna) and real wasabi. Everything I’ve tried on their menu so far, from sushi and onigiri to tempura, gyoza and chicken karaage, has been top notch. They also serve coffee, tea and boba drinks - my favorite is the Mango Passionfruit Tea with the mango chunks in the bottom. The atmosphere is cute and casual, with anime art and two screens showing anime and live action food or music videos. There are also tables available outside. I highly recommend this place.“

“My husband and I are frequent diners at Rice and Spice, pretty much regulars, we have been visiting this restaurant for over 2 years and every time we are 100% happy and satisfied with the food, the service, the ambience. They never cease to amaze us with their menu. Tonight we ordered a new dish that is not in the menu yet and it was absolutely delicious. If you like curry, which i do not care for curry - but this was exceptional. The name is Ka-Mu-Panang. I also had a new dessert - made of coconut, bananas. and mango. Because it was a new item it hasn't been named yet - so we called it CoBango, the owners were also naming it different things and still no name when we left. Typical visit as part of the fun going there is feeling like going to family- the owners are very we;coming and family oriented. Love the place!“

“This is one of my favorite sushi spots. The food is great and comes out relatively quickly, sometimes there is a bit of a wait depending on what day you go but that is usual. Their all you can eat option is the best in my opinion. They have a variety of other options if you do not enjoy sushi as well. -JL“

“Water+flour is an absolute gem! We’ve been coming here for years and recently it’s become our favorite place to eat consistently. Every time we go eat here no matter the time of day we are in awe of the great service and the delicious food. The atmosphere is always so relaxing even when they’re busy it’s enjoyable , adding to the overall experience. We most recently went to celebrate my birthday and our server was Megan she was seriously amazing and made it feel like such a special experience! All of the servers are attentive and we’ve never had a bad experience which is why we continue to come back! “While taking a break from U of Tampa move in weekend, we were looking for a place to eat after some shopping. Kelp came up. It was a lot an hour before they closed. Staff was very friendly and kind. Our server answered all of our questions and made accommodations when we asked. Good was delicious. Such a great selection of unique rolls. They put their own touch into their menu.

“Very nice place, seems very popular. Many appetizers both hot and cold to choose from. There was also many entrees and a large sushi menu. We ordered 5 rolls that was more than plenty to eat. It did not come out all together on a boat style plate like you see at many sushi restaurants but on individual plates because each roll had it's own accent sauce to it. Very delicious. Our server Heather was very attentive as well as the rest of the staff. We will be back.“

“We had an enjoyable night out at Samurai Blue. We started with the Blue Crab Rangoon, and it was very tasty. I ordered the sushi dinner, and it came with a nice variety of Nigiri. My wife ordered a few rolls and enjoyed them as well. The presentation was creative. The Caterpillar Roll comes with two eyes. The service was excellent and the vibe was relaxing.“

“If you're looking for casual dining with an innovative Asian-style menu and hand-rolled sushi then you must give Rock 'N Raw Sushi Joint a try! Our first time dinning there, we tried a little bit of everything - from the Crab Rangoon, to the Lo Mein and some sushi rolls. My personal favorite was the Beautiful Girl sushi roll. It's a fried roll with all the yumminess of a regular sushi roll! Malee was our server, and she was very nice and prompt with all of our requests. “I love Koizi! My friends and I have been going here for ages in a tradition to always get the endless and have dinner together. The endless is pretty decent—they have a good-sized menu with some variety. One drawback for me is that they don't have too many vegetarian options, but they will always alter a menu item if you ask for it. The service is always nice, and I've never had anyone rush us or try to get us out the door. I love their fried rice—it's one of my favorite things, and I eat a bunch of it every time I come! “This is the best sushi I've ever had! The flavor is awesome! We never have to wait long and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I love how you can take sushi directly from the revolving sushi bar and order it yourself from the digital menu. Besides tasting great, the prices are very reasonable. You can try 4 different types of sushi (usually 4 pieces per plate) for the price of one large roll at most other restaurants. Also, if you don't love sushi, there are so many other options. This is a must do for sushi lovers. I will definitely keep coming back.“

My waiter did the best he could between waiting tables, bartending, and handling pick up orders I felt it was a bit much, and the wait in between drinks, food, and check out was unenjoyable. Will I be back, yes because I like the sushi but hopefully management can take this into account that service is lackluster and needs to improve.“

For Ramen, I loved my Tan Tan Men bowl - moderate spice and lots of protein! My boyfriend enjoyed the Kiwami Ramen but mine was best ha!
