“I ate there last night on recommendation from y’all on another post. And it definitely did not disappoint!! Had the fisherman’s basket so I would get a taste of a few of their items. Oh! My! Goodness! Scallops cooked to perfection, shrimp cooked to perfection (very, very lightly breaded) and don’t even start regarding the fried oysters, melt in your mouth awesomeness!! Fish and the fries were amazing as well!! Awesome spot!!“

“The Ocean Grill will always hold a special place in our hearts as we first ventured here on Christmas Eve when moving back to the area almost 30 years ago. The beautiful view, delicious food & excellent service has remained consistent. We came for a late lunch and sat at the bar. After ordering our drinks we decided to be decadent and have dessert for lunch and Ocean Grill has oh so many choices of homemade deliciousness to choose from. We opted for the Bailey’s cheesecake and the coconut macadamia cheesecake. So good! Thank you Ocean Grill!“

“Celebrated my husband’s birthday there last night, it did not disappoint. First visit for us, drinks were delicious, appetizer’s, and dinner were some of the best food we’ve had. We started with the Crab Cake & Crudo, OMG!!! For dinner we had a Prime Ribeye that was cooked to perfection, and The Grouper with Crab Risotto, delicious, I want more!! lol Thank you to Trevor, and Liz for making the night so fun. We will be back soon.“

“To be honest, it wasn't bad at all, but it just doesn't reach 5 stars for me. The place needs a little more TLC (tender loving care), and some types of seafood were missing that they didn't have. Overall, it's a good 4-star place.“

“I hosted a Birthday Luncheon at the Green Marlin Restaurant recently, and I was totally impressed at how caring and accommodating all of the staff were. The restaurant was spotlessly clean, and spacious. Jenna, the hostess was wonderful!! And, we appreciated her offer of additional tables for our use, if needed ( and they certainly were). Our waitress, Cat, was very very friendly and attentive. She catered to us like we were royalty. Our food came out amazingly fast, and i must say, everyone raved about the food they were served. My Mahi was moist and fresh, the grouper was excellent, and the quesadilla's were mouthwatering. And, all the portions were more than satisfactory. We were a festive group and the staff seemed to genuinely enjoy our celebration. A Big Thank You To The Green Marlin For A Job Well Done.“

“I don’t care what anyone says negative about this place. Sarah, Lindsey and Alexa are your bar tenders. They are the face of the company. They are so perfect in their jobs. The people who they take care of is our older population. I have witnessed them in action. The respect they give to people that are older is phenomenal. That in my opinion is critical for any company. i support these three women 100% in their values and their commitment to the company.“

“We had a fantastic time at The Tides celebrating my husband’s birthday! He loved his blackened mahi, which was perfectly cooked and served with mashed potatoes, green beans, and carrots. Krystina and I enjoyed the peppercorn filet topped with melted Gorgonzola and crispy shallots, paired with veggies. Our daughter, Maiya, also enjoyed her chicken tenders and fries. The baked oysters and ahi tuna nachos were the highlights of the appetizers. Our server, Robert, was attentive and friendly, making the night truly special. It was a memorable evening filled with great food and service!“

“Maison Martinique Restaurant- Vero Beach-3.5-Stars "Too many people eat just to consume calories. Try dining for a change." -- J. Walters Located within the luxurious Caribbean Court Boutique Resort is where one will find Maison Martinique. This almost hidden gem offers al fresco dining as well as three dining rooms within, so grabbing a table should not be a problem. However, as it is situated within the aforementioned Resort, calling ahead for a reservation wouldn't be a bad idea. As I did not, I was thankful for the ample seating and was lead to a vacant table almost immediately. Perusing the menu, I must say that I was highly impressed with the offerings and could only hope they tasted as good as they read. Suddenly, an odd idea popped into my head. Why not order all the specials off the menu today instead of flinging darts and ordering what they land on? As soon as I had this thought, my server, Aubrey appeared table side and inquired as to my readiness to order. I let it be known that I was indeed ready and asked for a Glenlivet neat*(side o'rocks) to get the ball rolling and then the specials of the day. Aubrey told me I couldn't go wrong with that choice and to that end put in an order for Curry Lamb Soup, one Goat Cheese Bake and one Bombay Sapphire Martini to wash it all down. Aubrey soon returned with my Scotch and what a Scotch it was. Just look at that picture. That had to be a 3.5 oz pour or I'm not the Big Boy (love you, Aubrey)!! I was about halfway through the Single Malt Nectar of the Gods when Aubrey set my food before me. Take a minute and glance at the rest of the pictures. As one can see, the presentation was stunning. If the food was as good as it read, looked and smelled I was in for yet another gastronomical treat in the burgeoning haute cuisine scene of Vero Beach. Let the festivities begin! I was told by a chef in Vero Beach that the bread should set the standard for the rest of the meal as it is the first sampling from the kitchen the customer experiences. This bread, as one can clearly see, was indeed baked on site. However, I have a sneaky feeling (due to taste and consistency) that is was baked from pre-made, frozen dough. While it tasted fine, it didn't hit the table running, so to speak. So far, so meh. As I could smell the curry lightly wafting up from the soup bowl, I hungrily procured my spoon and dove in. With what I assumed were red lentils(?) and USDA prime chunks of lamb, this not only jumped over the bar set by the bread but obliterated it in the process. The curry was perfectly proportioned and in no way overwhelmed the lamb. The lamb was so tender it almost melted on the palate like so much lamb flavored butter. This dish alone is 5 stars all day, every day. Moving on to the Goat Cheese Bake, I couldn't help sneak a last smell of the soup before trading in my spoon for a fork. The Goat cheese is broiled first, then baked on a fresh crostini that was crispy and chewy. The delicious red sauce added deep rich flavor to the divinely lightly crusted goat cheese. I could eat this every night. The accompanying Lobster and Scallop baked rice was soft and flavorful, though I could swear that the seafood rested too long and slightly killed the dish. The asparagus, while cooked to veggie perfection, lacked enough seasoning. The Bombay Sapphire Martini sans blue cheese stuffed olives was still delightful and just as heavy as the Glenlivet. As I mentioned at the start, this is the first time I have ever spurned the menu to order all specials. As such, I have to give credit where credit is due and all in all this kitchen crew knows what they are doing and sling forth some excellent chow. However, with the bread being the bread that it was and the seafood over rested, I stand firmly behind my 3.5 Star rating. The Big Boy says, "For a strong drink and a Goat Cheese Bake you can eat all day, call up and reserve a table at Maison Martinique." #iamthebigboy #bigboydiningout“

“Went there on 12/11. Food was great. The TV speakers on the patio were so loud that you could not hear anyone speak. Half the screens hardly had the good games out side. 1 was frozen. You can see people adjusting there hearing aids not joking. Even my friend visiting was adjusting. Even other people were complaining. I Spoke to manager. He said to complain to district since he had no control of volume ?????? It was not a good experience. So, if you want a nice eating time on the water don't go there when football games are on. For outside eating. I wanted to go because of the game, won't do that again. Unless they can control the volume.“

“My wife and I (Beth) had our Anniversary dinner at Vero Prime Restaurant in Vero Beach. The service was absolutely incredible, she greeted us right away, very pleasant and extremely attentive, we started with the lamb pops for an appetizer along with the delicious Artichoke Hearts...the timing was perfect as we needed to catch a play at Riverside Theater that night. My wife ordered the Chicken Avavzare and I had the Ribeye Steak. Both were prepared to perfection. Our server Elizabeth suggested a great pairing wine to compliment our meal. Our experience was beyond our expectation as we are true foodies. I highly recommend Vero Prime for any occasion and we look forward to returning. “My friend and I had lunch at Waldo’s while in town and were so happy to have Heidi serving us, as she was our server 2 years ago when we were in Vero. She makes dining so fun ( and the table beside us agreed) and she is so knowledgeable. She suggested lunch items that were away from my norm, but she was spot on.“

“Polo Grill is our go to in Vero Beach. Outstanding steaks, incredible chops. Corey was our waiter and he was fantastic. Smoked old fashioned and lemon drop martini were spot on. “We love Bobby’s! Definitely a local hangout & has that old supper club vibe going for it (which is great). Bartenders are great & many servers are top notch. Love their wine list - right up my alley!! We go often & highly recommend it. If you want a fast paced meal (which is 180° from what we enjoy), you might want to look elsewhere. Parking is sometimes a challenge around there, but worth the walk when crowded.“

“Great local Cuban restaurant in a resort hotel. Started with the ham croquettes, which were quite delicious. I got the skirt steak and my wife got the pork. Both were great dishes that came with rice, perfectly seasoned black beans and plantains.. Cocktails were also well done and reasonably priced. Mike, our waiter, was excellent. He encouraged us to just take our time and enjoy our meal. His recommendations were all spot on. Never did we feel rushed. And the restaurant was packed. “

“My husband and I made reservations for Thanksgiving Dinner, weeks ago, for Chez Frenchie's. We have been there once before, earlier this year, and we really enjoyed it. Our reservation was for 5:00. We got there at about 4:50 and we were seated right away. We sat at our table for a half an hour and NOBODY came to our table, not even for water!!! Another couple that were seated after us were waited on. Servers passed by our table and we were completely ignored. I also saw the hostess several times walking around and I know she saw us not being served. Finally, I got my phone out and called next door to Trattoria Dario Restaurant and asked them if they had any available tables, seeing that it was Thanksgiving, and the hostess there said yes and that they could seat us immediately. So my husband and I got up and left. On our way out I specifically told the hostess that they could give our table away because we were completely ignored for a half an hour. She said it was her fault. How could it be her fault? She is the one who sat us and the wait staff walked by our table several times. Are you telling me that they didn't see us sitting there? It also looked like there were only two servers working. I could understand if they were packed, but there were empty tables inside and outside. Shame on you guys!! We will not be returning!! By the way, we had an amazing dinner at Trattoria Dario! We were immediately served and had a wonderful waitress!!“

“This restaurant/bar was so good we went twice during our stay in Vero beach. One of the best burgers I have ever had and the hanger steak was delicious. The bartender, Tommy and server Tony were the best. Highly recommend, can’t wait to go to Vero beach again.“
