No offense to my friends in the biz but DAS, hands down, has the best of each of these items! I live on the southside of ATL and gladly will drive for more DAS BBQ. The food is fresh, they smoke all their meat daily and they use locally sourced produce. They have a full bar. We shared the OG Salmon Chips - house smoked salmon, chipotle cream cheese, red onion & capers on house made potato chips (piucured) they are a little pricey at $16 for 5 servings but are piled high with fresh salmon so we weren't disappointed (they were great). We also had a Garden Chopped Bowl - (thick cut) house bacon, hard boiled egg, corn, red onion, tomato, avocado, bleu cheese and added Pulled Pork (pictured). Very good, highly recommend!“

Having done so, we continue to return to our favorite BQ restaurant Rodney Scott’s Whole Hog BBQ. Rodney Scott’s barbeque set the standard for not only Atlanta, but world-wide restaurants. R.S.W.H.B.B.Q is more than “exceptional”. The portion sizes are huge, the vegetables are well seasoned, the potato salad is kick your shoes off good. However, the pork ribs, boned in chicken, and brisket exceed the norm on taste and desirability. The BBQ meats are so delicious that you will find yourself eating first, second, third... “I had the beef brisket with Mac and cheese, collard greens and corn bread. This was probably one of the top 5 best Mac and cheese I had. The collard greens were a bit salty but I liked them. The corn bread was good but a bit dry. The bbq sauce was great I got hot and it wasn’t too spicy it was just right. I would definitely go here again. The prices are a bit pricey but it definitely was a good meal I can’t complain. I had a couple of shots at the bar while I waited for my food. They had a DJ in there it was really nice atmosphere.“

“We ate here after seeing Cirque du Soleil nearby with our two kids, 10 & 11. The restaurant was clean, and comfortably decorated. I wasn't worried too much about having what amounts to a grill in the middle of our table with the kids. It's obviously hot, but it's not like you'll lose a hand if you get too close here and there. Service was great. Our server was Yuki. He was very attentive, and explained how it worked, and answered any questions. When our food arrived, Yuki told us exactly what each item was, and exactly how long to cook it per side. Not a cheap place to go, especially with kids, but a nice treat after an otherwise fun-filled day with other new first experiences.“

The Crab hush puppies and burgers are definitely a hit the salmon dip need seasoning but the drinks were perfect !“

“I first ordered from Grubhub and it was so good we made the drive the next day. The beef and chicken and literally everything is amazing. Excellent taste, large portions, and it was delicious. “I worked at the original location in the 80s(and a few sister locations) and they still have the best wings in the city without question. my personal favorite menu item, other than the wings, is the steak and cheese sandwich. I was saddened by hearing about the original location catching fire, but I am glad they rebounded.“

“Was looking for a good Korean BBQ around the Dunwoody/Buckhead area. Stumbled upon Bene Korean BBQ. This restaurant is located in the Lindbergh/Buckhead area. I haven't been back to this area in about 10 years. It's changed so much. This restaurant is beautiful. The decor is luxurious and the bottles of soju above the bar is amazing. The side dishes were delicious and abundant. We ordered the Egg Soufflé, kimchi fried rice, crispy spicy/sweet wings, beef brisket and marinated beef short ribs. Everything was good, the marinated short ribs were a little too sweet for me and the spicy/sweet wings, were crispy, sauce had a hint of buffalo sauce flavor. They provide three dipping sauces (yuzu/soy based? Aioli of some type, pink salt). The restaurant was steady and the servers were trying their best to take care of all the dining patrons. I only wish the servers would ask if we needed fresh side dishes and more sauce for our dishes. Our server cooked our beef to perfection and kept our water glass filled. Prices are reasonable, I will definitely try the AYCE next time.“
