“Went here last night for a birthday dinner, we waited like 20-30 mins on a table, cause we had a large group. I had to come to give a review to the server Anthony!!! OMG, some of the best service I have had in a long time!! Definitely a great worker, and knows how to handle a large group… All our food came out correct, and HOT!!! He made sure our table was clean as soon as we were done, and our cups stayed full! He did all this great service, while wearing an orthopedic boot. He deserves recognition, and so does the cooks… The food was GREAT!!

“Very cute! Everyone was kind which is rare for Atlanta. Izzy was AMAZING! She was the perfect waitress, even though she was serving several tables. When I come back, I hope she’s available.

Parking: Very limited parking. I paid $10 to valet and there was a line to park (on a major street). Arrive early, prior to the reservation time.“

“Aesthetically, the restaurant is excellent. However, the service and food leaves much to be desired. After arriving early for a 1pm reservations, we were promptly seated. Then, it went all down hill. We ordered cocktails and food at 1:30pm with the cocktails arriving at 2pm and the food at 2:45pm. Not to mention the bartender called in sick, so only mimosas and simple drinks could be made. It's a beautiful atmosphere...for pictures!“

“I never write reviews, but this place was a 10/10 experience. Just celebrated mine, and two friends birthdays, and had to best time! The staff were so welcoming, and told us happy birthday as soon as we walked in the door. The food was immaculate!! Some of the best and freshest oysters Ive ever had in Georgia. “We wanted to give this place a try and figured we’d walk the Beltline afterward. Parking’s a bit of a pain, but we managed to snag a spot at a little park nearby. The place has a lively vibe, with lots of patio seating and a few tables inside. You order food and drinks in separate lines, though we noticed some people grabbing drinks while ordering food. Once you get your food from the window, just find a table, sit back, and people-watch. All in all, a fun spot for fried seafood and a drink or two.“

“Great patio, good service and food.

We stopped by here on a sunny fall afternoon. The 75° weather made for a euphoric evening on the covered patio. The space between tables is ample, the crowd is pretty easy and we had a great experience. The tables were mostly filled with mature couples are groups.

The server was attentive and very invested in making sure that we were happy. Everything was timely without any errors. When I got my side of corn that had cheese in it, he replaced it quickly with something that worked.

I had the broiled scallops and shrimp. It wasn't amazing but it was a good meal. The fries were hot, crisp and really good. My wife and kid also really enjoyed the meals.

I look forward to returning.“

I swear he must have dropped out of the ceiling like he was secretly watching us while baby sitting the crabs up there secretly selecting the ones he knew we would choose! It was very slow when we went around lunch time and 2 boil bags of crab and shrimp took about 15 minutes tops! The host was pretty cool and more so a yes and no type of person but we received what we needed I must say. The food was great, in my opinion. The atmosphere is awesome and the decor is pretty cool. I felt like I was at a premier for deadliest catch that airs on TV. This was regarding my most recent visit. I would say run to this place, don’t walk! Check them out. “The snapper is the shit!! I mean their other fish is good too. I've had the catfish, founder and a few other things. Crab bites are ok for imitation. Their okra is hit or miss. Other locations have better okra than this one. But be prepared, as all JJ's, this is definitely in the hood! I mean where else do you expect to get good fish or soul food from?“
