“We enjoyed eating at Southern Charm on our trip to the mountains last week. Never had a bad meal there. My husband and I shared a catfish plate and a jumbo fried shrimp plate. The portions were huge and the food was as always hot and delicious. The prices were very reasonable also. The cheese grits were the best I’ve ever had. I am hoping the chef will please send me the recipe or at least tell me what cheeses were used. We almost came back the very next night to order the exact same thing.…but decided not to over indulge. We do love some fried catfish and shrimp though. We will definitely be back for more soon. The empty plates speak for themselves.“

Waited 35 minutes she then went to seat us inside, we said outside please waited waited at least 20 more minutes, then 10 more to be greeted. ,med rare 16 oz. Ribeye,was very rare. Potatoes good. G.m.approached every table but ours. I still tipped 20 percent to server, not all her fault. . Never again“

“CLEAN, and the food is GREAT! Best biscuits and gravy in town. Food is served fast and well prepared. I love their cilantro lime dressing that I get on my rice and bean bowl at lunch. My show loves their cilantro lime fish taco salad( also available as fish tacos). Chicken fried steak is excellent. Staff is also sweet and welcoming.“

“We had a great experience at Misty Mountain Hops during a recent trip to Blue Ridge. We showed up around 5:00 p.m. on a Saturday with a party of seven, which can sometimes be a challenge in a busy tourist town. To our surprise, we were seated immediately with no wait at all.
From the start, our waitress was friendly, attentive, and very patient with our group, especially when it came to getting all of the kids' drink orders figured out. There was a small issue with one of my brother-in-law's drinks, but it was handled quickly and without any fuss. It's always nice to see a restaurant take care of a problem immediately instead of making it a bigger issue than it needs to be.
For appetizers, we tried the fried deviled eggs, both the traditional version and the buffalo version. If you've never had fried deviled eggs before, definitely give them a shot. They were unique and really good. One thing I will mention is that the buffalo version has a legitimate kick to it. If you're someone who normally orders mild buffalo sauce, be aware that this is closer to what I'd consider a hot buffalo flavor. The taste was excellent, but it definitely brings some heat.
That same theme carried over to my sister-in-law's buffalo chicken wrap. She enjoyed it and finished it, but it was spicier than expected. Again, great flavor, but if you're sensitive to spicy food, you may want to order something else or at least be prepared for a little burn.
The food across the table was excellent, and everyone seemed happy with what they ordered. What really stood out, though, was the service. We mentioned that it was my nephew's 16th birthday, and our waitress decided to make it fun by sticking birthday candles in his order of tater tots. It was completely unexpected and honestly hilarious. It wasn't some big over-the-top production, just a simple gesture that made everyone laugh and made his birthday dinner a little more memorable.
Sometimes it's the little things that make a restaurant stand out, and that's exactly what happened here. Good food, great service, a fun atmosphere, and a staff that genuinely seemed to care about making sure we had a good experience.
If we find ourselves back in Blue Ridge anytime soon, Misty Mountain Hops will definitely be on our list of places to visit again. Highly recommend“

“This review is specifically about the La Pizzeria next to Cucina Rustica (see my other reviews for the main restaurant). Very happy with the La Pizzeria. Food is the same as the formal main restaurant but much more affordable & casual. Very good for Sunday after church restaurant. Went with my wife but the menu seems perfect for families with children & they had several tables for big groups. Meatball sub was tasty & chicken Alfredo had large portions & was clearly made fresh. Most entrees are $11-$15 with some closer to $20.“

“Just went out to dinner last night for a quick wedding anniversary date. Had the Wild West shrimp appetizer (always a favorite), and we both ordered ribeyes and baked potatoes. The 1st steak my husband got was very fatty and full of gristle. Both of them were slightly undercooked but that was fine, really. They took one look at Brian's hald cut through steak and immediately apologized. He barely had to mention it after he was asked about it. The manager had the kitchen make him a whole new plate up to take home. We ordered my brother in law a steak and sides to go, since he was babysitting for us. Service was great. We got a table as soon as we entered. It was clean. The staff were on the ball. Our waiter, Greg, had his hands full but he still made sure we had all that we wanted.

October 2023 update: Seven adults went last night for dinner. Two people got pasta dishes, which were cold when they got to the table and had to be re-heated. I ordered my usual ham and pineapple calzone. It must have sat as well, as it was barely lukewarm so I didn't eat more than @ 1/3. Took it home and re-heated it this morning and realized there was no ham in it....
Hope food is back to usual standard next time.

“Honestly not bad. It wasn't the best Italian I've ever had, but it certainly wasn't the worst. I think the green tomatoes could have used salt, but I enjoyed my pasta. A little bit expensive, but there are much more expensive places in town serving much simpler dishes. I do think you guys could benefit from getting one of those cheese graters with a crank for fresh grated parmesan. I've got one and not only is it awesome, but it makes Alfredo a breeze. “I always recommend Pooles Bar B Que, for the food and service. My guests enjoy as well. You cannot find better brisket especially. If you dine in, most likely have to get to go boxes, because portion’s are generous. Last month I came as they closing and the employees let me order to go. Well I left my debit card in the card reader but did not know until my next stop. I was upset because I wasn’t 💯 percent sure where my card was. I called and left a message and the next morning decided to go by because I was on my way out of town. I didn’t receive a call back and no one was coming to the door because they had not opened yet. So after waiting decided to go around the back to see if anyone might be there, and they were just loading or unloading and didn’t hear me knocking. Anyway they had my card and told me I didn’t have any worries because all the staff were honest and glad they could help me, I was embarrassed about being so careless. So there are so many reasons this special restaurant in Ellijay is one of my favorite places to get a really great meal. I’ve feel like if you weren’t happy with something you ordered they will accommodate you. Try it for yourself, take someone with you!! 🤩😋“

The wings are outstanding—perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and some of the best in the area. Pair them with a drink from the bar and you’re set. The atmosphere is fun and laid-back, the drinks are strong and tasty, and the overall vibe makes it a great place to hang out with friends or unwind after a day in town. Consistently good food, great drinks, and a spot we always enjoy coming back to. Highly recommend.“
