“Super cool experience!! I was in the area for business, so had to stop by the original Chick-fil-A. The location is not what you expect! Kind of in a random, inconspicuous spot. The facility is very well designed.

I sat at the counter and had a chicken sandwich platter with fries and fried okra. While definitely the standard Chick-fil-A sandwich, it tasted good and fresh. The fries were, again, pretty standard. The fried okra was really good. Wish they had that nationwide.

The pies are 100% worth the visit. The lemon pie was so good. Such a cool experience.

Definitely will stop by if I’m in the area again.“

“I love this place! So friendly and the best biscuits and gravy. I also get the bacon egg and cheese biscuit and it's always perfect. The bacon is not over cooked which is the case for most restaurants. This is now my go-to spot. I'm going to try the chicken next time.“

“I never review airport spots but this was some of the best Chick-fil-A I’ve ever had. You could tell the tomatoes and lettuce were crisp and fresh, probably because it’s such a popular spot with high turnover. Solid layover meal. Also don’t be deterred by the line, they move pretty fast“

“Some of the very best fried chicken on the eastside! The tenders are amazing, but the bone-in chicken is to die for. Perfectly juicy with just enough edge on the breading. The real star of the show are the twice-fried fries; perfectly crispy on the outside and melt-in-your mouth smooth on the inside. The dining area is a time capsule from the 90s-00s (or perhaps your older brother's bedroom), with nu-metal blaring and pieces of nostalgia scattered everywhere. This place is perfect for an indulgent night out with your best friend/lover.“

“I am at this Chic-Fil-A every Monday and Wednesday and when I tell you that I LOVE THEM. The customer service is IMMACULATE!!!! My favorite crew person is Grayson he needs a raise and a promotion. This North Decatur Chick-fil-A location is consistently top-tier. The dining room is spacious, incredibly clean, and well-lit. If you have small kids, the indoor playroom is a massive plus and always seems well-maintained. The service here is just as polite and attentive as you’d expect from the franchise, and the food comes out fast and piping hot. They even have a neat little delivery robot that brings food to the tables inside, which is a fun touch! It gets crowded during peak lunch hours, but the staff handles the volume effortlessly.“

“Very disappointed in the service I've received lately. Last week didn't receive my extra chicken strips. Last night, there was a hole in the bottom of my milkshake and it's spilled all in my car. And then today I wasn't given my waffle fries. I try to call and I get a busy signal.“

“Food is always good. They have the best drive thru system in all of fast food currently and even a long wait doesn't seem so long when your order is taken in seconds of your arrival and is ready when you get to the window. 60 cars in 6 minutes. Anywhere else you could have 4 cars in the drive thru and it could take 30 minutes to give your order another 20 minutes to get to the window to pay and some places will still ask you to pull down or park so that they can bring the order to the car. Chick-fil-A has the best system going and it is being done properly at every location from MLK WESTEND, NORTHSIDE DR, FORREST PARK, CONYERS, COVINGTON, DULUTH, AND LAWRENCEVILLE.“

She did not even complain when I told a long time getting my order together. Me and my friends That went their had the best time because the service from her was really good. “As you can imagine, this is a VERY busy location. It lacks structure as it relates to disturbing mobile orders and taking food orders. The drive thru line was dreadfully long, and on the way leaving out multiple drive thru customers complained. At least the restroom was clean!“
