“This place is upstairs. You will see a sign from the street. We went in because the teenagers in our group wanted Boba tea. But when we got in, they had coffee! And they had honey coffee so I was excited to try it. I loved it. And ended up going a second day just to have that coffee again. I definitely recommend trying it out. They also have a cute sitting area where you can take a break from shopping or just relax a bit.”

“My wife and I just returned from celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary, at the Valhalla Resort Hotel. We absolutely LOVED it! The minute we drove up to the hotel’s front door, we were greeted by Steve, a tremendous valet! He genuinely treated us like we were the most important people in the hotel, right from the get go! Then, as we walked into the hotel, Judy welcomed us in with a smile, and explained to us what Valhalla had to offer. I felt like we were visiting with friends! Our room was beautiful, and quite festive, as our youngest daughter purchased the “Celebrate You” package for us! Later that evening, we went to have a drink at the Sky Bar, which has beautiful Mountain Views! Matt was the bartender, who fixed us an Old Fashioned, a Jalapeño Margarita. DELICIOUS! Matt is full of personality, and was right on point both days we spent time with him! Lastly, we met Jerry Murdock, the owner. Jerry was as kind as can be, and is an absolute riot! Thank you Valhalla, for helping to make our 30th wedding anniversary a most special one! We will be back!”

“Dropped in for karaoke. This spot has a lot going on once inside. The karaoke area, 2 bar areas, a cigar room and the dinning. The place was clean and the staff was friendly with a laid back type of atmosphere. The parking area is a little tricky to figure out to get to if you have never been there.”

“After spending way too long waiting for the alpine coaster, we were desperate for a pretzel. The place around the corner from here that doesn't have any posted hours had apparently just closed. With a tired kid and no other options between us and our car, it looked like we were out of luck. Bodensee was right next to us, but it was closed. However, diners were still being served, and a guy was oomping on a tuba outside. My wife suggested asking if we were too late for a pretzel to go. I walked in and asked a server (whose name I didn't get), and she was more than happy to help. After I placed my order, another kind woman (Manager? Owner? She seemed to be in charge, in any case) invited us to stay and eat, though they were officially closed. We declined, as we just wanted our pretzel, but I truly appreciated the gesture. (This was the evening of July 5, a very busy Saturday for everyone in Helen.)

Lemme tell you: This pretzel was fantastic. Crispy outside, fluffy inside, and huge. The beer cheese was exactly what we were expecting (i.e., delicious), but I might have actually liked the mustard more. I don't know what was in it, but something sweet balanced out the sharpness and spice. I could eat it with a spoon.

We didn't get to have a proper meal here, but we'll be sure to correct that next time we're in town.”

“DELISH. Had the pretzel (with beer cheese) flown in from Munich -- amazing! Onion soup was surprisingly delicious as well as the Reuben and homemade potato salad (not pictured). EXCELLENT food and great service. Will come again next time we visit!!”
