“First time in Helen and the town is super cute. The theme and atmosphere is amazing. The food was delicious and came out quick, even with the entire place packed. Haleigh took great care of us and gave some awesome recommendations on things to do in town.”

“My daughter and I were in Helen for Thanksgiving. We sat and enjoyed a wonderful crêpe on Thanksgiving morning with Ashlee and Tori. Honestly it was my favorite meal our whole entire stay. I am a chef, and I’ve worked in the restaurant industry for over 30 years. This place is a wonderful gem with fresh food and a great staff.”

“Overall, we had a good experience. The restaurant had a cool look. The potato pancakes were good- crispy on the outside. They had a hint of flavor, but needed more. It was great with the apple sauce. The pretzel was fluffy and soft with very delicious cheese! It was so cheesy and had a distinct taste. I think in general our problem was the good was bland. My husband had the chicken sandwich and said it was good- the flavor coming from the burnt parts. I got the beef roast- it was good, but it was slathered in gravy. The carrots and potatoes needed seasoning. My son got the chicken schnitzel. It was soggy. The mashy potatoes had a good texture, but needed seasoning. The spaetzle was also soggy- maybe that's how they are supposed to be? I don't know much about German food, but maybe this is how it's supposed to taste?? We went back a second time and sat in a different room- there were no TVs and the lights were super bright so we got out food to go. The pretzel was just as good. The french onion soup was okay- probably better there. The mozzarella was not was stretchy/stringy as I remember. It also might not have been mozzarella- not sure. We also had a piece of German chocolate cake. It was good. The cake was moist and the cream was thick with coconut and nuts!”

“Adriana is the real MVP of North Georgia! She was our server and cook during the snow storm! Fabulous food as always and the most hospitable service! We had a Tree Hugger and The Junker to eat. DELICIOUS! The crust was cooked to perfection!”

“My wife and I just returned from celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary, at the Valhalla Resort Hotel. We absolutely LOVED it! The minute we drove up to the hotel’s front door, we were greeted by Steve, a tremendous valet! He genuinely treated us like we were the most important people in the hotel, right from the get go! Then, as we walked into the hotel, Judy welcomed us in with a smile, and explained to us what Valhalla had to offer. I felt like we were visiting with friends! Our room was beautiful, and quite festive, as our youngest daughter purchased the “Celebrate You” package for us! Later that evening, we went to have a drink at the Sky Bar, which has beautiful Mountain Views! Matt was the bartender, who fixed us an Old Fashioned, a Jalapeño Margarita. DELICIOUS! Matt is full of personality, and was right on point both days we spent time with him! Lastly, we met Jerry Murdock, the owner. Jerry was as kind as can be, and is an absolute riot! Thank you Valhalla, for helping to make our 30th wedding anniversary a most special one! We will be back!”

“Their popcorn is extremely out of the world great, believe me if your looking for Carmel corn this is where you should come. Just 2 hrs north of Atlanta and it’s well worth the drive. My tastebuds water just talking about the popcorn.”

“My friend and I stopped here after playing mini golf next door. My friend lives in Clarksville and I was visiting her for a few days. There were plenty of options and the ice cream was very good! My friend said this is her new favorite local place now for the best ice cream.”

Others in our group ordered the big platter and were a little disappointed, but the staff did mention they’re in the middle of remodeling, so I’m chalking it up to that. They’ve eaten there before with no complaints, so I’m confident it was just an off moment.”

“Hunt Brothers Pizza is a great pizza for anybody searching for really good tasting food the employees are always very respectful their Pizza is also never undercooked or overcooked it is always just right with a perfect amount of toppings”

“Best French Dip sandwich I've ever had!!! Potato skins were delicious. Everything was fresh and hot. Seems like a locals spot, TV's everywhere. Smoking is allowed but wasn't terribly strong smelling. Highly recommend and we will definitely come back every time we visit Helen.”

“Delicious✨. My family went there specifically because of the good reviews one of us was reading. I don’t know what site he was using but they were all outstanding, nothing less than a four star. I thought the place was amazing! We were served pretty quickly and the appetizers greatly appeased the wait. The loaded fries and chicken I got was DELICIOUS! I have never eaten anything better ? (I’m not a bot, I swear?). The servers were really nice, especially the guy on the phone when we called to ask about the wait (there was none!) They even pushed enough tables together to have our 19 people sitting at the same table (usually they say 15 people a table, max at other restaurants). I have absolutely nothing bad to say about it??‍♀️. Highly recommend!”
