“The atmosphere is very dark and sexy located at the bottom of the Alida Hotel. The service was friendly, but sometimes could lack attention. But the food quality surpasses everything, and it is definitely worth a visit. The prices are not that high you would spend just as much money as going to a P.F. Chang's or a Cheesecake Factory. This was a little bit too salty for me but for the appetizer we got CRISPY CALAMARI BANANA PEPPERS, CALABRIAN CHILIS, PARSLEY, CILANTRO, ROSEMARY AIOLI. My main entree was the best burger I have ever had. It was the first time I could eat a burger without it sliding off the bun. From the bun to the sauce to the cheese and pickles everything was perfection. RHETT SMASH BURGER TWO BEEF PATTIES, AMERICAN CHEESE, RED ONION, PICKLES, NORFOLK SAUCE, OLD BAY FRIES. And dessert was just okay for me to much cream not enough banana. BANANA PUDDING WAFERS, VANILLA PUDDING, CREAM“

“We happen to come across The Smoking Egg while down Chatham Pkwy doing some floor shopping. Establishment was very clean, service was too notch, and food to include mimosas were beyond delicious. The wife got the smash burger and fries. Both were seasoned well and cooked to perfection. I got the Ox Tail, Collard Greens, and Mac n Cheese. Let me tell you, run don’t walk to order this! It was so good! We definitely return as I’m eyeing the crawfish.“

Recommended for Koreans. The reason is that the food is not salty!!
It’s been a long time since I ate something that wasn’t salty.
Raw oysters do not have a deep flavor like Korean oysters, but they are quite good when eaten with horse radish (wasabi).
Perhaps because it's busy, the staff aren't exactly friendly, but they're not unfriendly either.
Recommended.
I drank Weizen beer, but it was a little bland.

“Loved it! The BEST flavor was the Wagyu frites. HIGHLY recommend. Trust me the others steaks I tried were great but the Wagyu is out of this world.

I was very impressed by the dining experience and clean presentation. The $70 meal deal they have right now is also one not to be overlooked either. The calamari was phenomenal and the passionfruit crème brûlée was divine. I will be back. Great location as well. Loved the review view and live music was right outside as well.

“They were a great place to have a Sunday afternoon birthday party. The staff is very friendly and professional. The reason for 4 not 5 stars was probably my fault, they serve mainly seafood and I ordered a chicken sandwich. It was tough. Everyone else ordered seafood and it was fantastic.
The old saying go to a steakhouse for steak, don't order seafood. Go to a seafood restaurant and don't order chicken.

I got the crab cake benedicts....they ran out of fresh eggs was sad about that....the beet hollandaise was different but good, wished I asked for more. My husband had the steak and eggs. Steak was smoked and shredded apart...so yummy! We waited until the oysters were available...they were delicious! The atmosphere and staff here was so pleasant and peaceful. We weren't rushed away by the staff after sitting for 3 hours which was nice. My Husband and I enjoyed our date brunch! Definitely going to be our new brunch spot!“

Such a great spot to have a meal or have a couple of beers. My husband had the cuban, while I had to go local with the fish tacos. The best and rice were awesome and the cilantro could not be fresher as it was grown out front. Friendly staff and lots of parking.“
