“Ordered the steak fried rice with zukini and onion. The first bite took me all the way to Japan where my taste buds blasted my mind due to its good taste. The cook really did a good job of combining all the flavors and putting a good portion amount. The only thing i would suggest is for the business to start providing higher quality of rice as that would really justify the price point of the meal.“

“I definitely love this restaurant. Me and my family are regulars. We love how their food tastes, especially the teriyaki chicken with shrimp fried rice, and the yum yum they have. I also tried the beef teriyaki with fried rice before and it was amazing. They also give you a good portion size for today, as well as for later for dinner, or tomorrow. “By far the best Japanese restaurant I've been to in Atlanta. Even compared to restaurants in Japan, Tokyo Shokudo would still be one of the best. Starting with appetizers, the skewers were amazing, the yakitori and shiitake mushrooms were some of the best I've ever had. For the entree, we ordered the Take Chirashi Don, and the sashimi was all incredibly fresh and high quality, with the rice and other assortments perfectly complimenting the fish. A vegetarian in our party ordered the agedashi tofu, and although I wasn't expecting much, the dish turned out to be a surprising favorite. The sauce is light yet fragrant and was absorbed into the tofu, giving it a very complex umami flavor. Would highly recommend going out of your way to visit.“

“Went to this place in Doraville, GA called Yebisuya where I had Omurice for the first time along with a Yebisuya Bun that I also got and tried for the first time. Omurice: although this wasn't the Omurice I was expecting this was definitely still a very delicious version. Underneath is a bed of fried rice that was just so good with an omelet layered on top of it. They give you 3 sauce choices Spicy Kewpie Mayo, Ketchup, and Tonkatsu sauce. I chose the spicy mayo which by the way wasn't spicy at all I could have ate a ton of that stuff with no problem and those that know me know I don't handle spice well lol. Yebisuya Bun: is basically a steamed bun with chicory, scallion, and I got it with Tonkatsu pork in it and yall when I tell yall I could have ate 10 of these bad boys. The bun was so soft and the filling was sooooo flavorful like you just have to try it. “We went for lunch while we were in the area. Easy to find and easy to get in and out of the parking lot.

A young girl was working the register and she did an excellent job with the help from mom/sister/aunt. We love family businesses and support local spots like this one.
My boyfriend got 4 types of sushi and said it was all good. I got a hibachi bowl and I loved it, the veggies were clearly fresh, the Udon noodles were seasoned well and the chicken wasn't dry.

“Hidden gem with delicious food located inside a semi-abandoned mall. Whenever I’m in town for work, I stay nearby and often pick up their buffet style take-out for supper. The mixed vegetables are my favorite and the various chicken options I’ve had have always been tasty. I usually get the 1 meat + 2 side combo with an additional side and have enough food for at least 2 meals. The food is served hot and always tastes fresh during the times I’ve visited, usually weekdays after work or during lunchtime. All the staff is polite and personable and the older well-dressed lady is always so sweet and complimentary, even with a slight language barrier.

Because there is almost nothing else on that back side of the mall, there is no traffic and plenty of close parking so I am in and out in 5 minutes.

Why eat ultra-processed fast food when you can have nice-sized portions of better food served quickly and for a good price while also supporting a small local business? Ignore the shady bando-looking mall surroundings and don’t miss out on Tokyo Express!

The inside has changed since I last visited, but it's kept its beautiful aesthetic nonetheless. “We've been making our way through Halidom Food Hall and tonight's new try was Wasabi Sushi & Ramen. It did not disappoint! All the dishes were beautifully presented. Unfortunately, we dug in before remembering to take pics, so please take that into account.

First, the staff was very welcoming, helped explain and recommend items, and said please and thank you, which I appreciate. A+ for service.

I had the steak hibachi and it was delicious - packed with steak and loads of mixed veggies. Salty, savory, sweet, soy goodness! Hubby and son split some California rolls and a tuna poke bowl, all were excellent. My son mentioned that the tuna bowl was loaded with fish. We also had some gyozas dumplings and they were super yummy too.

As for the price, it's a food hall, so let's be honest, they are never cheap. But considering the food and service were excellent, and I supported a family run business in my community - it was worth it and I'll be back.

“I've been an avid lover of Circle Sushi for well over 20 years. I used to live only a couple of miles away. I moved but I still make the drive if I want the best sushi in town. The sushi chef has been there since they opened and he always works his magic with a smile. It's the freshest and tastiest fish I've found. My favorite is the yellowtail and salmon sashimi. I recommend the Chirashi Donburi with tuna, yellowtail and salmon. They give you more than enough sashimi atop their flavorful rice. I have found no other sushi restaurant with a shrimp tempura appetizer as wonderfully battered as Circle Sushi's. Another appetizer favorite is the pork shumai. Dumpling LOVE! The service is always fast and friendly. I recommend making a reservation by phone. They get busy early. The ambiance is quiet if they are slow but bustling when they are busy.“

“This teriyaki joint is becoming one of my go to spots! Food is consistently good, fast service, reasonable price and well portioned. I get the chicken teriyaki with shrimp. I’ve gotten their tofu teriyaki and that is also bangin. It’s simple, they don’t have a big menu and don’t need one. Go for the teriyaki. If you have kids they have a very well priced kids teriyaki as well.“

“Great experience for their Goodfellas theme. The food and cocktails were on point for each course. The service from the entire staff was phenomenal.

My favorites were the tuna tonnato, lobster tortellini, and tiramisu. My friend enjoyed all her courses as well.

All of the cocktails were amazing and so unique. The standouts were the funny how, cutty water, and no more shines.
