“Had a late lunch here Sunday afternoon. I must say that I love the atmosphere of the store. We placed our order in the front, with the sweet young lady. They brought our platters out to us— best Mexican food I’ve ever had! We live in CA, and this beat any food I’ve had out here. The salsa is delicious, and flavors were great. Many thanks to Manny’s kitchen for their delicious food. When we come back, we will be visiting frequently!“

“This is by far our favorite breakfast place on the entire island. The view is amazing. The staff is fantastic. The food and coffee are the best that you can find! Each time we come back we buy extra beans just to take home a taste of menehune❤️“

“The food was excellent. I have had Massaman at a lot of different restaurants on the mainland. Before coming to Kris Thai in Hawaii, Thai 66 in Albuquerque New Mexico was my favorite. After dining at Krua Thai in Hawaii this is my favorite now.“
“We arrived at 4:45pm on a Monday and the restaurant was nearly full- a great sign. We were seated at a table for two and waited on promptly. The menu is extensive but we found an appetizer and two entrees and placed our order relatively quickly. Staff was friendly, efficient and our meals: pad tai, roasted eggplant and Tom ka with chicken, were all excellent. Highly recommend!“

“Nice ambiance, right on the ocean! Great for sunset views. Opted for the prix fix meal which was quite the deal! The prime rib was tasty, loved the mashed potatoes and asparagus. Started with the brussel sprouts which were delicious! Finished with creme brulee! I would come back.“

“This was hands-down the best shave ice I've had anywhere in the Islands! Friendly staff, delicious syrups made from actual fruit, and ingenious holes in the tables that prevent spills. “Not fair Google. Both dine in and takeout, also lunch and dinner. One of my favorite restaurants for many years. Auntie and Grandmama are still front and center and in the kitchen. Their food is fresh and Delicious, with generous portions. If you dine in, The view is above Ali’i Drive and a great place to watch. If you order to go, DO NOT let them refuse tip. A few favorites are the curry stew, either fish or chicken, and their Pad Thai is absolutely the best ever. If I remember correctly, they get their vegetables at the market down the street. Absolutely five stars

“Kanaka Kava is one of my favorite spots on the island! They have the best kava by far! 'Awa is grown and harvested fresh by local their Hawaiian Kanaka Maoli farm, they are a truly local native family business. They have the best Hawaiian food I've found for purchase on Hawai'i. It's so good I have to go every time I'm in Kona! Connect to the native culture and eat of the best Island food. They have vegan options too. Aloha e Kanaka Kava!“

“This place is a true gem! The decor is welcoming and fun with soft beach pastel that makes you want to relax and visit with friends and enjoy your coffee and babka. The menu is incredibly tasty and the pastries incredible and unlike many of the norm you find elsewhere.
The retail products have much charm and the variety is unique with take home reminders of the chill island vibe.
Lastly, if you are looking for coffee or tea, you will not be disappointed, down to the fresh honey and accompaniments.
