“Breakfast at The Restaurant at The Hana Maui Resort is fantastic. The food is delicious, service excellent and setting is amazing. Expect typical resort prices, but well worth the money.

Currently they only serve breakfast because unfortunately there’s not enough customers to support lunch or dinner. However, the Hana Ranch restaurant, also owned by the resort, makes up for that.

If you get a chance to eat here, and don’t mind splurging a little bit, definitely make the effort.“

Our entrees continued the trend of excellence. My kids raved about the DaBeest Burger, unanimously declaring it one of the best they had ever tasted. We absolutely loved our meals at Ono Teppanyaki and Seafood! The Ribeye, New York steaks, and Lobster & Shrimp plates were all incredibly good. Every dish came with delicious rice and perfectly grilled onions, zucchini, and mushrooms. The sitting area is clean with plenty of tables and trash bins. Highly recommend for a tasty meal!“

It was utterly divine!!!! I wish I could take this plate home on the flight. I wouldn’t miss out on this meal.

My husband got the combo plate with the fukake fried poke and the ribeye and it was mouth watering. ALL the flavor and juiciness you could imagine. I 1000000000000% would recommend.“

- ramen meh 6/10: too fishy for my liking
- poke 9/10: great quality tuna, slimey and no mush. the sauce was also fire and there were little mochi crackers sprinkled inside. my favorite dish from here by far!
- fish sando 7.5/10 thin cut of fish but tasty. not too flavorful. more bread than fish but still good. bread was buttery.“

Lots of nearby parks, beaches, scenic drives and road trips nearby, so basically lots of reasons to buy a bag of malasadas. Also sold individually. $10 minimum for card pay.“

“Really good Filipino food. Extra large servings! Freshly cooked so it was a bit of a wait but very much worth the time. Our group of 10 people really enjoyed all the dishes especially the grilled pork, pompano and bangus. Forgot to take photos of the food as we dug right in! Worth the trip! Jayboy himself cooked the dishes then came out to have a nice chat with our group. Friendly guy.“

“This is like the place that opened forever ago. Mom is still a server, the booths, dishes and salt shakers have been the same ones since the day they opened. The bathroom is also the storage room, the windows haven't been cleaned...ever and they finally allow credit card payments. BUT, the food tastes like it was made at home. “We were looking for a restaurant in Kahului for a supper prior to catching our flight home. We were lucky to find this gem! The restaurant is a small, non-assuming space in a commercial area. However, the garden eating area is nicely set up and inviting. Our hostess and serving staff were very friendly and informative. The food was excellent. I had the Rouladen and my wife had pork tenderloin Daily special. Both were good size portions and delectable. We also enjoyed an apple strudel. I would definitely return to this restaurant.“

As we walked in we instantly became comfortable, the decor has a coziness to it, but it's all fresh,clean and new. I loved the chandeliers; the green couches look inviting if we had a wait. Everyone and everything was wonderful. We both had your No Buzz Mocktails; they were delicious! The meal was perfect, the Cesar salad i could have a plate of your house made garlic croutons. Our Service was excellent and incredibly friendly, everyone was working harmoniously. We have started a new tradition in our family with yours. “This is such a nice restaurant , the walls are covered with money mostly one dollar bills. Food was good prices are more affordable here then at the tourist places. I had the Spam witch sandwich. The service was very nice. and the atmosphere was very nice.“

FOOD:
Chicken Katsu
While this is far from being a Korean dish, it's what I was craving. The two slabs of chicken were breaded and deep-fried to a golden brown, and laid out on 2 scoops of steamed white rice. You can choose 4 banchan sides, in which I got mac salad x2, bean sprouts, and potato mayo. Their katsu sauce is too sweet, which is why I always do takeout so I can use my Kagome-brand sauce from home lol.

Man Doo Kook Soo
This is a Korean version of ramen but was anything but. The rice noodles were a bit overcooked and didn't have any chewiness to it. I like them as a somen dish but not as a noodle soup. The broth was clear, very subtle in flavor, and tasted similar to egg drop soup. The bowl was topped with 4 good-sized pieces of soft mandoo with a tasty pork filling, egg washed shredded pork, and cooked white & green onions. Temperature was hot but not searing. Better than pho but it'd never dethrone a ramen in my world, lol.

SERVICE:
The workers were welcoming and friendly. I got my order in about 10 minutes.

OVERALL:
Bang for your buck! They'll do well here.“
