“Hana has surprisingly few places open for breakfast. We were very grateful that the Restaurant at Hana Maui was open, so we didn’t have to hike the Pipiwai on an empty stomach. The food was pricey, but it was high quality and delicious. The papaya boat was easily the best we had on Maui…but again, not cheap. The tables on the lanai overlook the lush grounds and the ocean beyond - such a beautiful and relaxing way to start our day.

“Stumbled upon this place on the road to Hana. It smelled awesome so we had to stop. The mixed BBQ plate was awesome. It had pork, chicken, rice and a fern salad. It was all so delicious. The guy working the grill was super friendly and cool. The seating is in old tram cars. The "plates" are big chunks of bamboo. The utensils are hand cut bamboo chopsticks. I can't say enough about how incredible this place was. It is a must stop on your road to Hana.“

“I’m so glad that we made a lunch reservation at Mama’s Fish House. The gardens and views are gorgeous, the valet was friendly and helpful, our waiter was informative, helpful and patient. Our whole family agreed this was the best meal we ate in Hawaii. I love seafood and eat it often, but this was the most delicious dish I’ve ever had. I had the Hawaiian Kanpachi with Crab & Lobster in a Macadamia Nut Crust and my husband had the Mahi Mahi and Ahi Curry. We were dinning with two children 12 & 9, the restaurant offered a few children’s options (baked Mahi, breaded Mahi and pulled pork- as they explained it there is a daily children’s menu provided and given by your server). Our picky, non-fisher eat enjoyed a lunch of virgin lava flow, vanilla ice cream and strawberry off the dessert menu and fresh baked bread. Our whole experience was fantastic and I’d highly recommend going.“

“This place is decievingly large, I wasn't expecting such a large natural foods market. The aisles are stacked with tons of vegan products that are difficult to find elsewhere. It was a lot of fun perusing the aisles. Prices weren't outrageous as one would expect from a natural grocer. They have a hot food bar with so many fun options that I wish we could have tried them all. All decently priced. I loved seeing all the vegan spam musubi and we grabbed so many for the road. Ordered some sandwiches and ate them in the dining area upstairs. There's a shaker of nooch alongside your usual condiments, salt, and pepper. MUST visit while in Maui.“

“My family of 6 loved the food. We had the mochicko chicken, garlic noodles, garlic shrimp and spicy chicken sandwich. Big portions. It’ll be lunch for me tomorrow. I would definitely go back again. The staff were polite and sounded like they were having a great time in the kitchen.“

“This is a food truck that is located on the Target side of the Lowe's parking lot.
Aunty at the window was pleasant and friendly, food was ready quicker than expected. Truck plays Hawaiian reggae music. You're given a ticket with your order number on it and it is announced by Aunty when you're a food is ready.
Had the ribeye and garlic ahi katsu combo plate, $21. The ahi katsu is not a traditional katsu with panko breading. It's a bit hard fried crust and fish is fully cooked with a garlic mayo and a garlic reduction poured over it. I prefer the seared foodiecocket ahikatsu I've had elsewhere. No seasoning on the actual fish or in the coating, only in the sauce and the garlic reduction. The ribeye is chopped up into small pieces with I would say a good amount of fat left on that keeps the rest of the cut flavorful. Nice amount of seasoning that could have been better dispersed but that's just personal preference. The layer of rice under the ahi and the ribeye is there just to catch the juices so it doesn't all soak through the recyclable plate but still very good and yummy. Salad is just young greens mix with dressing and a scoop of rice.

“Greg has very good, fresh pizza made to order at extremely reasonable prices!There are a lot of pizza options on Maui, VERY few good ones. This pizza is better than most, at very attractive prices in a nice relaxed atmosphere. When he's able he could probably spruce up his tables a little bit, but it adds to the rustic nature. Lovely views even though it's beside the highway, so can get a little bit noisy. No big deal though.Missed out on the saltimbocca, so we have a good reason to go back besides the delicious pizza!Tried four different combinations, will definitely be back!“

As we walked in we instantly became comfortable, the decor has a coziness to it, but it's all fresh,clean and new. I loved the chandeliers; the green couches look inviting if we had a wait. Everyone and everything was wonderful. We both had your No Buzz Mocktails; they were delicious! The meal was perfect, the Cesar salad i could have a plate of your house made garlic croutons. “Fun and friendly location and staff. You're not gonna get a 5 star meal here, but you will get a tasty brat/burger/sausage and a good beer for the price of a cheap appetizer elsewhere. The dollar bills go back to the mid-80's, so it's kinda fun to see how they've used them. Apparently, they have a great clam chowder on Friday mornings that sells out quick, so next time we're there, we'll definitely have to try it!“
