“The place is a lot better than expected. We also got the Chinese food. It came in big portions and was well done. We spent long time admiring the crazy drone aerial photography videos trying to figure out if they were ai or real. Nice atmosphere and it filled up by 9pm. Seems like lots of people around here know it's good. We've been in two nights in a row.“

“Had a late lunch here Sunday afternoon. I must say that I love the atmosphere of the store. We placed our order in the front, with the sweet young lady. They brought our platters out to us— best Mexican food I’ve ever had! We live in CA, and this beat any food I’ve had out here. The salsa is delicious, and flavors were great. Many thanks to Manny’s kitchen for their delicious food. When we come back, we will be visiting frequently!“

“The food was excellent. I have had Massaman at a lot of different restaurants on the mainland. Before coming to Kris Thai in Hawaii, Thai 66 in Albuquerque New Mexico was my favorite. After dining at Krua Thai in Hawaii this is my favorite now.“

“In our group of 4, we had lunch here twice in one week while in town. The waitress was wonderful both times, very attentive and friendly. The food was wonderful, great pizza made to order. I even had a grilled cheese with spam, YES it was GOOD. And yes I did buy some spam when I got back to the states. Again, both times we were there we sat on the patio, the staff was wonderful and friendly. They answered all our questions. Yes, we will go back next year and have our lunch or dinner here. Oh, and they have wonderful pizza.“

“We got in right before the rush and got sat right away. We ordered the fish and chips, Laulau plate, hottie poke, and kids quesadilla w/ fries. The fish and chips was great, fresh. The laulau was good, very moist, not too salty. Service was quick and kind. Poke was fresh.“

“This was a GREAT find. The food is reasonably priced, and they give a generous portion serving. The hamburger was extremely tasty and the fries are superb, as are their salads. The fish and chips dish was not as expected...too much breading on the fish and the kind of fish is suspect, given they don't disclose it. All in all, they have a huge menu that will please anyone, though be aware that they get very busy during regular breakfast/lunch/dinner hours.“

“We stopped in for a couple slices (both types of pepperoni and the veggie) they were so good we ended up getting a whole pie to take home.
Amazing service at the counter, very friendly staff. They have comics available for purchase and comic related movies playing, it’s a vibe. Highly recommend.“

“We went the afternoon/evening of the tsunami warning a few weeks ago while on vacation. A lot of places were closing and we had to evacuate our hotel so I phoned around and found this place would be open. We figured we'd hunker down at a place that would be able to provide food and entertainment for our 6 year old while we waited it out. The staff was very helpful throughout our time there. The food we ordered were rather large portions and quite tasty. Never underestimate food that might be in a bowling alley, that's for sure. My daughter played some arcade games throughout our time there, and we also spent some time bowling. After the diner closed but the status of the evacuation hadn't changed, they kept the bar area open for the patrons who were also waiting it out. We enjoyed some drinks before leaving the establishment shortly before the alerts downgraded and we could return to our hotel. A good place to visit even if you're not killing time waiting out an anti-climactic tsunami.“

“My husband got a ninja star roll and said this was some of the best sushi he’s ever had. The wait time said 2 hours when we first walked up, but we only got the 1 roll and only waited maybe 10 minutes, so we were really happy about that.

“I vacationed here for a week in September 2025 and Kona Chinese BBQ was so good that I had to get it twice! I ordered the Chicken Katsu via DoorDash both times, leaving special instructions for extra Katsu sauce and fried rice instead of white rice - and both times they followed through! Very generous portions and everything was absolutely delicious, it was exactly the experience I was hoping for. Would recommend if you love chicken katsu and fried rice like I do!“

“L&L Hawaiian Barbecue is my go-to for a taste of the islands. I also highly recommend the Chicken Katsu; it's always crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with a delicious katsu sauce on the side. The mac salad is a must-have, and it really completes the classic plate lunch experience. The food is consistently good and a great option for a hearty, satisfying meal.“

“We absolutely loved our experience at 808 Grindz Café! The food came out fast, fresh, and at a great price — a rare find on the island. My wife ordered eggs with spam and potatoes and everything was cooked perfectly with that comforting, local touch. I went for the shrimp, eggs, steak, and hash browns, and it was honestly one of the best breakfasts I’ve had anywhere — generous portions, perfectly seasoned, and so satisfying. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere had a laid-back, local vibe that made us feel right at home. This was hands down the best meal we’ve had so far on the island, and we can’t wait to come back again!“

“We ate here after 12 hours of traveling and could not have been happier. The service was so friendly and outdoor seating with tiki torches and a view of the water was great. My son isn’t always the most adventurous eater but he asked to try the clams from my seafood stew and pronounced that he “loves clams more than pizza”. It was his first time trying it. He had the kid’s grilled cheese with fries, and myself and my friend had the Crabby Patties crab cakes, cocktails, fish n chips and seafood stew. Everuthing came out quickly, hot and fresh. It was just what we needed after airport food all day.“

But I gotta say the crispy chicken is a GO TO choice🤩🤩🤩 and the orange chicken here is super delicious and honestly if you want some good Chinese food come right here cause it’s nice. and if you just want one thing for your dinner, GET the crispy chicken. 🍗 the beef broccoli is also super good.😎😎😎 😏😏“
