The food for our recent party with guests from our islands, plus mainland cities and Australia, called for varied tastes. The Food Company offered perfect selections, getting raves!! The Staff club is one of very few places on the island where they still abide by the old military standards: no covers on the bar (buy a round for the bar), no entry covered (by a round for the club), proper civilian attire, etc... There's a wall of beer steins for the regulars and amazing staff! Trivia night is on Thursdays and First Fridays are always a sight to behold.“

“So good! Driving up to the North Shore from the airport we wanted something local. Family owned. No frills just awesome chicken. So juicy. We all had sandwiches and the pulled chicken is more like chunks with some pulled. Not overly shredded. And not doused with sauce. Just a nice enhancement. We had the melts and they were delicious. The bread is crusty but soft inside. An easy bite. And my son loved his Cajun fries. Off street parking in the rear.“

“OK, we are from Phoenix Arizona and we stopped at a local Golf Course Olomano to check in for Times to go play golf this week since we’re only here seven days, guy at the front desk about best place to watch the football game which was on tonight the Chick-fil-A peach bowl and and we happened on this place and it has the most amazing food and the atmosphere is ridiculously fun for a small place, super loud super fun and very good people. Service is slow but they bust their butt, be patient, you only live once!! Kiki❤️ made it fantastic, she even took a call for us!! Ask for extra pork on the Nachos, can’t miss!!“

“While visiting Hawaii my wife and I decided to try this place based on all the previous suggestions and the views. Upon walking in we were immediately greeted and told us it would be a short wait and it was. The decor was beautiful and there was a live musician playing the acoustic guitar on the side which gave the place a very relaxing vibe. We were lucky enough to get a balcony table. I’d suggest this so you can have a spectacular view of the ocean and the sunset. My wife and enjoyed the warm bread brought to the table served with this delicious strawberry butter. It wasn’t very heavy either. The drinks were really good as well. Our server (actually all of them) Tony was extremely good. He came and checked on us and made sure everything was good with us. When I go back I will definitely look for him. If you’re interested in something relaxing with a classy vibe. I recommend this place.“

“Service was outstanding. Drinks were excellent. Slightly disappointed with the food. Its not what i remember from a year ago when i last ate here. Its still good but not as good as before. I know the light is dim for the ambiance, but it could be lit just a notch more or have lights on the table. Noise is as you would expect in a restaurant with concrete floors and no buffer to absorb sound. Overall it was good. Service always makes a difference.“

“I and a couple of other retirees discovered Pur Sina when they opened and have been weekly customers ever since. Their small kitchen limits the menu choices, but what they offer is tasty and reasonably priced. The pleasant customer-oriented staff has made it serve as a home away from home for us, and we have always felt welcomed. If/when they leave, they will be sorely missed.“

“We had mixed feelings after dinning here last night. Ambiance and service were very good. Enjoyed being at the counter and watching the kitchen action. Food: some dishes had extreme sweetness to them which was overpowering fresh ingredients: kampachi very sweet sauce, salad dressing also very sweet, Brussels sprouts also tasted more like dessert. Also, market salad had way too many ingredients that did not go well together. More is not always better. Corn fritters and venison tartar were great. Angolloti pasta great but also had unnecessary sweetness to it. Gnocchi were spot on. If not for such over the top use of sweetness in many of the dishes we had, every one would have been great.“

“My husband was in search of some good fish in Waikiki. We stumbled upon this place and decided to give it a try. I’m not a seafood person so I got the chicken pasta and he tried snapper for the first time. Both of us were blown away by how tasty everything was. The portions were huge too! Out of all the places we had been to during our trip, this place is at the top. Even as a non fish eater, I loved it! There can be a wait, but it is well worth it. Try it, you’ll love it.“

My mixed plate was chicken katsu and mochiko chicken. My friend got beef cutlet and roast pork Mixed Plate. Both is us thoroughly enjoyed our lunch plate! Asian salad was just right flavor with sesame oil and fried wanton. A little extra was chow fun under the meat. And the price was really reasonable here!! ($15 each). Parking lot is just next to the restaurant, very convenient. It was really satisfied day for me.“

“We went to the Super Bowl watch party and it was amazing. The servers were spot on, and the food was delicious. It was a really good value for what we got. The only thing I might change is to have closed captions on the monitors because it was hard sometimes to hear what was going on in the Super Bowl. The crowd got a little feisty.“

“If you want to stay down waikiki this is a great option. Right at the bottom of the area, you feel a little removed which is nice. Only a short walk and you hit the main "strip", but in the hilton you feel that peaceful hawaiin vibe. The rooms are very clean and spacious, the facilities are great. Especially the gym which has a good amount of equipment. The beach even has green sea turtles who sometimes visit ! That was amazing to see as a trip to see them may run you $300. There's lots of food options here and also an ABC which has lots of affordable grab and go food if you don't want to constantly break the bank. My only issue is the resort fee. You will be charged $50 PER DAY, so please take this into account when you book at this price is NOT included and you can get a nasty surprise on check out. I personally think this should be incoperated in the price as many of the things listed in what you get for the resort fee would be free in good hotels anyway. Other than this it is still a great value hotel for the area with lots in reach“
