“So good! Driving up to the North Shore from the airport we wanted something local. Family owned. No frills just awesome chicken. So juicy. We all had sandwiches and the pulled chicken is more like chunks with some pulled. Not overly shredded. And not doused with sauce. Just a nice enhancement. We had the melts and they were delicious. The bread is crusty but soft inside. An easy bite. And my son loved his Cajun fries. Off street parking in the rear.“

“I am a stickler when it comes to smoked meats and this restaurant is absolutely a staple on the island. Everyone driving the coast should really consider giving this a try. All you need is a whole chicken, cup of dipping juice and something cold to drink.“

“Long line to order but they have their system down. Didn't take long to get my order. They give you a buzzer so you know when your order is ready. No need to wait around for nothing. Wait area is small & traffic is heavy in that area with other establishments.“

However, the staff quickly assessed the problem which was that I had placed the order for the next day. Rather than turning me away, or asking me to replace the order, the manager quickly and expertly triaged with the Staff, and I received my food within minutes. The manager even credited my online order payment to the meal I received so that I wouldn’t have to go online to cancel and refund the mobile order. “Today 4/23/2026 we ordered food to go (Kalihi location) via the APP. Fried chicken Sides: mashed potatoes, coleslaw, and biscuits. The FC was very good, crispy, tender/juicy and seasoned just right. We stopped going to KFC years ago because of poor quality. They don’t come close to JOLLIBEE! My order was ready pretty quickly around 1245p. Kudos to the staff who prepared our food. When I got home, the chicken was still very warm too.“

This beyond a doubt is a HIDDEN gem located sub street.
The prices are non tourist prices 😀, very reasonable.

“First time at Nona. Had some friends who visited and wanted a place to get good dinner. Nona was easily the top choice. We had Slick Rick and OG sando, honey cochujong wings and the SPV wings. So good. If you want great food, awesome service and nice people, can’t top Nona.“

I did takeout. Ordered the boneless chicken plate, it was still crispy when I ate it later. Instead of Mac salad, it came with carrots, pickled daikon, ranch dressing over shredded cabbage and rice. I got the soy garlic sauce. I liked that they kept the sauce in a container separate so it doesn't make the chicken soggy.

No issues with service.

Atmosphere is pretty much the shared food hall, not too noise with good number of seats around the floor.“

“Used the drive through. The service was quick, friendly and efficient even with a decent line of cars. The only downside to this Chick-fil-A is their minimal space causing the drive thru line to feed into the road. I wouldn't hold that against the staff here. Also, on the plus side if the line stays you can get back on the road fairly easy on the other side.“
