“Stunning dining experience. Superb, friendly service that feels like you’re eating with friends at their home. Beautifully decorated. Just the right spacing - you feel both intimacy and community. The fresh watermelon juice was perfect on a warm day. We ordered spring rolls that were light, delicious, and unlike anything we’d had before. For the entree we enjoyed mung bean noodles and Thai red curry. Both were superb. On an island known for amazing restaurants, Chao Phya Thai manages to land at the top of our list of favorites. Well done and thank you!
Vegetarian options: Abundant vegetarian options
Parking: Plenty of parking as it is in a shopping area near a grocery store.“

“My husband and I visited Roy’s for our anniversary and sat at the upstairs bar. The food was absolutely amazing, but even more amazing was our server Matt. Super kind, efficient, and easy to talk to. He went out of his way to make sure we felt welcome and we’ll definitely be visiting again. Thank you!“

“My first time here after seeing them on tv. So glad the worker tied the bag of my 3 plates tightly and that they use strong plastic containers. I took a sharp turn and my bag flipped to the side. My food shifted a little in the container, but at least it didn’t spill out or leak out of the containers. Love the hamburger steak with crispy onions! Omg, the special parmesan chicken was huge!! This was ono too. Will definitely go back there again. ❤️“

“My son and I stopped here to grab lunch. He got the popcorn shrimp and I got the shrimp sandwich. He also ordered a passion pineapple with jellies. It was good lunch on the run. And. The woman taking orders was kind and friendly!! I don’t eat chicken so I was so grateful for the shrimp alternative!!“
“Soooooooo good!! Can’t wait to go back! Gonna be dreaming of the oxtail soup for days!“

“This has no business being as good as it is in a mall food court. So much flavor! I got the shrimp pineapple curry with blue rice. It also came with half an egg, cucumber, peanuts and little dried fish. I didn't quite finishe it, so it was more like a meal and a half for me. This white girl can't handle spice so I appreciate that it was not spicy but still had so much flavor!“

“Had a celebration of life at 3660 on the Rise. Coordinator was so easy to work with and gave so much information and was in constant communication. The staff were all so helpful with set up, service, tending to guests and clean up. The food was really good too! Had a heavy appetizer "lunch" and everyone went home filled. The crab and cream cheese won tons, garlic chicken and meatballs were standouts of the line up. Construction was going on on the outside of the building so the view was a little obstructed, but inside the building was well maintained, great temperature, simple A/V set up. Dedicated parking structure with validation made it easy for guests.“

“Straits hosted us for a large group gathering (~20 people). They were very accommodating in making the reservation. The service was excellent and all the pupu's were delicious. Many of the group participants mentioned they had a great time and were all impressed with the venue. I highly recommend Straits Hawaii as venue for both individual dinners and larger gatherings.“

“A restaurant located poolside at the Princess Kaiulani Hotel. It is also open to non-guests, so I had some tea time while waiting for a friend. It's located right off Kalakaua Avenue, but it's a very quiet place. It was the first restaurant I visited after coming to Hawaii, so I was able to enjoy the resort feeling.
The menu is hard to understand with only text.
When you scan the QR code, a menu photo is posted.
It's easy to choose.“

“I love Marugame Udon! The location was great, there was no line, and the food was made instantly. I got the BK sauce ontama with an extra egg and it was only $10! So filling, yummy, and decently priced. As a broke college student struggling with the prices of O’ahu, this restaurant is a blessing. Will be back 100%.“

“Little place by the airport that packs some serious flavor. Fair warning if it says spicy it means it! Some of the best sushi I have ever had. Service was also super nice! I'll be coming back to try different rolls. They were very accommodating for my wife's allergies as well and understanding and recommended what not to have or to have.“

“A cozy little Vietnamese cafe offering a wonderful variety of dishes. I enjoyed the Pho` Combo. Good size portion at a good price. The broth was delicate and delicious served piping hot. I have some concerns about black pepper in the broth but it didn't stop me from enjoying it all the same. The staff was friendly and eager to please. I can see myself making a detour to have lunch here in the near future.“

“there’s no shortage of good poke bowls in honolulu. this place is above average definitely but just short of special. its a solid takeout counter with very limited seating. i love that they give you miso soup on the side, which is awesome. i got the crunch bowl, and appreciated that they fresh fried the ebi tempura, instead of a big batch that sat around. so the owners really care about quality and presentation. i also like that they didn’t drown it in sauce. i think some may balk at the smaller portions, but it was just right for me. good choice if you are in the area“

“Roy's has a well-deserved reputation for blending creative approaches to dishes with outstanding presentation, taste and quality ingredients. Our fish dishes were exceptional, kitchen timing perfect (not too rushed with sufficient space between courses). Service was attentive but not overly intrusive. Blackened ahi appetizer was plentiful and sashimi quality great. Butterfish always great, and it did at our dinner at the original Roy's Waikiki. Roy's is expensive, but it aligns with the quality and service.“

“This is the best kept secret in Waikiki! Roy's Eating House 1849 is a hidden gem on the 3rd floor of the International marketplace and although not on the beach, is a nice break from oceanside dining after several nights. Our server/bar tender, Louis, was amazing and we are returning in a couple of nights just because of him and of course the food was incredible. We chose to eat at the bar just because that is our preference but there are plenty of tables and although there is no ocean view, go for the food. If you love Hawaiian-Asian fusion, you will love this place. The ingredients are so fresh and amazing and the happy hour prior to dinner is one of the best values in Waikiki. This is definitely one of Roy's best restaurants in his collection! We had the crispy Ahi Maki for an appetizer. Three generous pieces and had to order a second round it was so good with the caviar. It will be the first thing we order when we return next week. We had the Plantation Style Paella Rice stew. It was so fresh and had amazing flavors and topped with a small lobster. Enough to share which we did after a couple appetizers. If you are looking for something different and delicious after several ocean side dinners, this is the place to go. And again, if Louis is working, he is the bartender/server you want to take care of you!“

“this place is a Crazy Rich Asian vibe and i love it. Chef Anthony and his crew were absolutely phenomenal. A family style, off-menu 9 dish dinner was delicious. i was full by dish 7 and barely had enough room for dish 9(desert).
BTW, this place is PERFECT for private events!“

“food is great. staff is usually pretty good but there are occasional rude staff, but the managers seem nice.
the restaurant itself is really cramped so it's probably better to eat outside.
Parking: paid parking lot. like almost all the shops in SALT, validation is for 1 hour only. probably be better to park street and take out.“

“One of the best values in Honolulu dining. Start with the Happy Hour 4:30-6:00 PM $4 well drinks. Continue to their delicious furikake chicken and beef & pork sliders pupus. If you still have room any one of their main dishes will do it. With live music on Fridays this place is a Chinatown gem. Have fun. They deserve your business. Easy underground parking across the street.“

“We celebrated a big anniversary at Pai and WOW - they made it extra special. We did the four course menu with wine pairings. The service was top notch. The food was inspired, creative, delicious, and locally sourced. Though the portions of each dish looked small, it was more than enough food and so delicious you wanted to eat every bite! The wine pairings were spot on, absolutely perfect with our chosen courses. The space has such a lovely vibe - clean and modern, but comfortable and well appointed. There really isn't another dining experience quite like this on the island. Justine and Kevin have created such a beautiful place with incredible food and service. Pai is definitely a must-try restaurant. We will definitely be back.“
“I tried their sampler. From left to right, i got:
- Holy Krab
- Tacobella
- BAE
- In & Out
- Let’s Avocuddle
The rolls were the perfect balance of a crunchy shell on the outside with softer wrapper layers on the inside. The rolls were not too oily either.
The Holy Krab was amazing. It was like a creamy crab croquette in a roll. The Let’s Avocuddle was also a stand out. I like my meat, but this vegetarian option was surprisingly good.
There was also a cheese(?) sauce, sweet chili sauce, and salsa. The cheese sauce is literal crack“

“We recently dined at Phở Minh Thư and had a fantastic experience! We ordered two special phở and the spring rolls with grilled pork, and both dishes were absolutely amazing. The phở had a rich and flavorful broth, and the portions were generous. The spring rolls were fresh and packed with delicious ingredients.
The food was not only delicious but also great value for the portion sizes. We will definitely be coming back for more. Highly recommend Phở Minh Thư for anyone craving authentic and tasty Vietnamese food.“

“I recently rediscovered Sushiya on Waialae Avenue and it's quickly become my go-to sushi spot in the neighborhood. This family-run gem exudes warmth and hospitality, making each visit a delightful experience. What I love about Sushiya is how convenient it is. There's always easy parking right out front, perfect for those days when I'm in a rush and need a quick grab-and-go option. It's also ideally located for a stop on the way home.Their menu has a great mix of classics and their own special twist on local favorites. My favorites so far are the Crunchy Spicy Ahi Bowl and the Spicy Dynamite Maki - both are packed with flavor and the portions are super generous.Plus, they're currently running a fantastic promotion – $10 off on orders over $40 with an American Savings Bank debit card, which is pretty much a whole free roll every time you visit. If you're looking for a friendly, convenient neighborhood sushi shop with amazing food, Sushiya is the place to go. “Cafe Fusion is open and cooking! It's all take out at this time as most places are, but the quality and quantity of their offerings is gastronomically with gusto. Stopped in for lunch and dined on the Manpeche plate. That's "U'u for da locals. Ono kine grinds with great sauce, salad and rice. Still inside New Hope Oahu building, but moved to bigger space on the Makai side of the building. along with New Hope Coffee Company. Check em out!“

“This place has delicious food, it’s clean and nice and inside, and the staff is friendly. Service can be a bit spotty once you have your food (waited a while for water), but they took our order quickly and the food came out perfect, and absolutely delicious! The menu is well-priced, given the portions and quality of the food. Highly recommend Moonga!“
