“Road traffic can be loud. If I was able to go for the omakase dinner, noise would not have been an issue since I would have been seated inside. The indoor setting looked exquisite. Outdoors, the road traffic can be distracting but there is nothing that can be done about that.“

“We arrived early and waited in line as part of first come first serve (Sunday). We sat at the bar - my 13 year old son and I. Sushi was excellent. The bartender was great! I was here in 2007 and again in 2026. So good both times. I do recommend if you are in the area.“

“The chef was AMAZING! The food was EXCELLENT! THE service was GREAT! Our water glasses and needs were met continuously throughout the evening. The dinner salad was delicious but such a tiny amount was in the bowl (all bowls at the table had very little), it was almost laughable, I was very disappointed. The quantity of bacon fried rice was very pleasing to his foodie! -as well as the amount of protein given. Veggies were delicious as well. THE MAIN ISSUES: The smoke and hot burning oil smell was so heavy it was not healthy to breathe. It never went away. My hair, skin and clothing wreaked of it after we left as well. My nostrils were bathed in it. I did not feel well. The ventilation needs to be improved heavily in there. Also the temperature was too warm, our entire table of 10 was uncomfortable and sweating the entire time. IF these two main issues were improved my star rating would be a FIVE.“

“This was honestly my favorite meal of our entire stay on Maui. The teri steak and coconut shrimp combo was excellent. Flavorful and juicy, generous portions, and fairly quick service. My husband’s Korean BBQ chicken was great too. Price was fair given the portion size and what you’d expect. Would definitely go back again! Kicking myself for forgetting to take a picture of our food.“
