“Busy parking lot for a busy plaza. Had to loop several times until we could get a parking spot.

Cash only place. Was in between two items and they recommended the chicken katsu. It came with rice and Mac. It was really good and the portion was generous. Their Mac is on the simpler side a little more bland but one can appreciate that. Especially eating something fried and flavorful.“

“We made a reservation in advance for the omakase experience. We've tried a couple of omakase dinners before but the one at Takumi felt intimate and personal. For omakase diners only, we were seated inside a room together all facing the chef, save for a table of four on the other wall. We tried their flight of sake that was chosen with chef specialty and had the best service offered by the waitressed who refilled our glasses plenty and attended to all our questions during dinner. It was an experience worthwhile and we celebrated our one year anniversary here! Definitely would recommend to those looking to try something new and wanting to taste unique sushi dishes. “I rarely ever leave reviews, but this experience was seriously amazing. Our server was genuinely one of a kind, I’m pretty sure he is name is Sonny. He is incredibly welcoming, charismatic, and has genuinely incredible vibes all around. He gave us great recommendations for food, which were all amazing dishes. He is also very funny, if I could give this spot 100 stars for service I would do it. Although on the pricy side, it is definitely worth dining here 1000%.“

“The chef was AMAZING! The food was EXCELLENT! THE service was GREAT! Our water glasses and needs were met continuously throughout the evening. The dinner salad was delicious but such a tiny amount was in the bowl (all bowls at the table had very little), it was almost laughable, I was very disappointed. The quantity of bacon fried rice was very pleasing to his foodie! -as well as the amount of protein given. Veggies were delicious as well. THE MAIN ISSUES: The smoke and hot burning oil smell was so heavy it was not healthy to breathe. It never went away. My hair, skin and clothing wreaked of it after we left as well. My nostrils were bathed in it. I did not feel well. The ventilation needs to be improved heavily in there. Also the temperature was too warm, our entire table of 10 was uncomfortable and sweating the entire time. IF these two main issues were improved my star rating would be a FIVE.“
