“Food very tasty! Ahi katsu n mac salad was great! Kinda pricey for the portion, and the up charge fee is a little ridiculous ! I get it but don't try to get rich overnight give the consumer a fair shot! But overall food was great at least for what i purchased. Was a little disappointed on my 2nd visit drove from Waianae to get ahi katsu but was told they don't have it on the menu it's a special but not sure what day of the week!??‍♀️??‍♀️So tried garlic chicken it was good! Garlic noodles was great i liked it! But overall there wait time is tooooo lonngggg! Did both dine in and take out!“

Honestly, the only thing I wish for is a bigger poke bowl option — not gonna lie, I’m on the bigger side (Polynesian, you know what I’m sayin’ 😅). But the food? 10/10. Best there is, no doubt. I was happily surprised, the fish was GREAT!!! ordered poke bowl 2 choice (salmon+spicy ahi).

Will definitely be ordering here again, and excited to try other dishes! Also shoutout to being open until 8pm! I didn’t feel like cooking dinner and wanted something healthy yet filling. Glad I took a chance on this place, definitely recommend!

“Love this place! It’s always a must when I’m in Waikiki. They have something for everyone, from their delicious, juicy burgers to their perfectly seasoned, scrumptious garlic shrimp. “Stumbled upon this place when I was looking for poke nearby. Went to Foodland market like lots of people suggest but that one was not it! The man working at paradise poke was so nice, I got the Hawaiian bowl with had kalua pork 1 choice of poke and lomi salmon (which he advised me was just a tomato onion mix with little pieces of cooked salmon NOT a salmon poke) also we tried the shoyu ahi bowl and the ginger scallion ahi bowl. All the bowls were so good and fresh tasting we had poke here about 2 more times on our trip! I my husband and 2 kids loved this poke place! It's a decent amount of food for $15. The next times I got the bigger $18 bowl that you can choose two poke or just double up on one. Also got some cookies here The Cookie Lady Hawaii cornflake cookies! They're so crispy and delicious! I recommend coming here and if the small tables just outside the door are not sufficient there's an area just around the other side of the building where you can sit and eat! Must try!!!!“

“This place is solid, but we had a group of 4 adults and 3 youths and it must have thrown them off a bit. We chose the AYCE option and we were served double of some of the items we ordered. I personally judge Sushi Restaurants by the quality of their unagi. This place has good unagi. The clientele is all locals and we love finding places like that when we travel. “The dim sum was delicious and enjoyable. We ordered the hagow, shiu mai, spare ribs, and other familiar favorites. Everything was tasty and reasonably priced. The stuffed bean curd was the standout while the baked manapua was flavorful although I was not a fan of the sugar coated topping. Personally, I prefer having the cart service with steaming baskets rolling by so I can pick what looks good but that is just personal preference. The staff did a great job being attentive and bringing the bamboo steamers straight to the table and everything arrived hot and fresh from the kitchen.“

“Tonight we went to Uncle figuring on having a couple of cocktails . When we heard that they had changed some of the items on the menu we decided to have dinner.
We started out with their Caesar Salad which was huge and so fresh . Followed by their Seafood Chowder. I got to tell you I’ve had the chowder before but this time it was so much better. Lots of flavor and so generous with the clams and fish. I told Melissa ( our waitress ) what did they do to it ? She said they make the soup to order. That’s when we looked around the room and every table was having soup. Can’t wait to go back to have it again.
I’m a French Fries fanatic so had to try their Truffle Fries .oh man! I had to eat it slow cause I wanted to savor each bite.
Now if your a Fish person I say you got to try their Blackened Fish tonight it was Opakapaka. Man that fish just melted in my mouth. I had such a big smile on my face. Told my friend “ man, you got to try this. I was sorry to do that cause she had to have more. Being such a good friend as I am I said help yourself( ( mistake one became two , then three times) But, it was ok cause the portion was so big I had plenty more even had to take home for my lunch tomorrow.
Hey, I got to tell you the staff over there was just like family. Melissa our server was one riot . She had us rolling all night. She was the best! You like laugh look for her. You not going stop laughing.
The only disappointment was that we were so full that we couldn’t have dessert. Next time I’m going to start with dessert.
I suggest that you treat yourself and go check them out . They are under new management. I have to say from a point of view of a person that have worked in the food industry for over 20 years that Uncles has tipped the scales. From the chef to the front house crew they now have the passion and it shows, in their food So you guys out there give them a try!
