“Stopped here based on so many solid reviews and it didn’t disappoint. The service was very fast and friendly. The portions were very large. Reasonably priced. And the Kalua pork was delicious! It’s a very small place in the corner of a strip mall kind of hard to see but well worth locating!

“Four stars based on one dish called chicken hekka and the service. Number one, she offered free sample, unsolicitedly. This got me to try it and it was yum! The dish had a sweetness to it, sort of like teriyaki but not teriyaki, glass noodles, rice, and veggies. Very good overall.“

“My family of 6 loved the food. We had the mochicko chicken, garlic noodles, garlic shrimp and spicy chicken sandwich. Big portions. It’ll be lunch for me tomorrow. I would definitely go back again. The staff were polite and sounded like they were having a great time in the kitchen.“

“I’m so glad that we made a lunch reservation at Mama’s Fish House. The gardens and views are gorgeous, the valet was friendly and helpful, our waiter was informative, helpful and patient. Our whole family agreed this was the best meal we ate in Hawaii. I love seafood and eat it often, but this was the most delicious dish I’ve ever had. I had the Hawaiian Kanpachi with Crab & Lobster in a Macadamia Nut Crust and my husband had the Mahi Mahi and Ahi Curry. We were dinning with two children 12 & 9, the restaurant offered a few children’s options (baked Mahi, breaded Mahi and pulled pork- as they explained it there is a daily children’s menu provided and given by your server). Our picky, non-fisher eat enjoyed a lunch of virgin lava flow, vanilla ice cream and strawberry off the dessert menu and fresh baked bread. Our whole experience was fantastic and I’d highly recommend going.“

“Huge portions for Meat & Melts BBQ. Philly cheese steak. Cooked well and fast. It was bigger than my hands. Friendly staff. I wanted a little more spice or seasoning, but it was still good. My husband liked mine better than his smaller gyro. Mine also came with crispy fries that were good. Try it!“

“I cried good tears this morning. I've never in my life cried because of how divine the food was. I ordered the crab cakes benedict, usually when I order crab cakes it's a hash brown with little bits of crab meat but this one is purely crab and it was so fresh like it was caught in the early hours before restaurant opened. Eggs were cooked to perfection and the hollandaise sauce was heavenly. It was love on a plate, my compliments to the chef! Service was absolutely wonderful, lovely and welcoming ladies. “This L&L location also has Chinese food. If you order the Chinese, you receive your food immediately. I ordered a combo plate (Hawaiian) with fried fish, fried shrimp, and BBQ chicken. The service was extremely slow. The food was OK, although the shrimp was overdone. The mac salad was very good. It was in a "food court," which was below average.“

“Outstanding restaurant that many locals frequent. Owner recognized my accent as a Canadian tourist and we shot the breeze for a few minutes of his busy day. Large portions and good prices make it a hard to pass up. Already tried the location in Kahului, but this same meal better prepared and less salty. Mahalo ??“

“This place was well worth the wait. When I came in it was very easy and I had a 15 minute wait but the food was worth the time. I had the loco moco burger and it was delicious. We also ordered fries for the table and they were some of the best fries I have ever had. The interior of the restaurant was a little bland though. I highly recommend this restaurant even if there is a wait.“

“We went to a local place for lunch that had great reviews and were very disappointed. Came across this amazing food truck and randomly ordered a few things……ended up coming back not even an hour later to order more. Great portions, food was so good! Made to order and so yummy! The wasabi cream sauce is 🤤🤤🤤 Give this truck a try! Best meal on Maui after a week of trying different local spots!“

“My wife and I were walking to Cupies to try their food for the first time. We saw some food trucks near by and thought we would take a look see. We decided to try Da-Soriano Grindz instead of Cupies. I built my own grinds plate(hope I used the proper grammatical structure?). I chose the Chinese marinated pork belly and shrimp with salad and noodles. THE BOMB YO! BROK DA MOUT! My wife and I shared it and we were both stuffed. The location is quiet, super clean, lots of shady benches(not shady as in Slim Shady-LOL) and the small customer-only restroom was spotless. There are not many food trucks here and we did not try the others, so I cannot help you there. Kudos though to all the truck owners(they refer to themselves as “tenants”) for they all pitch in to keep this space invitingly attractive.“

“Loved their garlic shrimps. Side salad, taro mush potatoes, curry taste rice, and sauce were also good. It was a perfect size for me, but my husband said he wished for bigger portions. Shrimps didn't smell at all, so they must be pretty fresh. Eating area had a small covered area, so it was hot and windy.“

“I wanted to go back and thank them for such an amazing meal. But I figured writing review was a better way to pay it forward. Get the ribeye and wasabi Katsu plate. The quality of their food and cooking methods rival that of any high-end restaurant on Maui. Probably better. Automatic ono.

“This burger is a spiritual experience. I am addicted to the bacon cheddar cheeseburger. Add the hot peppers (they aren’t too hot, more like a delicious slightly spicy pickle). The owner is really sweet and the food is both delicious and great price with a pretty wide menu. But trust me and please try the burger it’s honestly ridiculous it’s so good. A good selection of alcohol also.“

“Austina's has been our go-to place to eat at the Maui Swap Meet. Garlic fried rice and eggplant omelet are so good with a cup of fresh coffee. Lumpia is very good as well. They serve different kakanin (Filipino snacks) also. I don't know if they still served the famous Maui Swap Meet garlic noodles, that's also a must try.“

“Spicy food is a challenge to find on Maui. Not here at ATF! They offer customizable heat from 1 to 10. I ordered level 10 Green Curry w Tofu and did have to assure them that I was looking for Thai heat; runny nose & watering eyes and that I’m not just some dumb white guy with too much bravado. This was one of the spiciest dishes I’ve had on Maui and yet the flavor of the curry was very present and super enjoyable! Still, I’m going to see if they’ll push to 11 or 12 level on my next order. Their Thai Iced Tea is really good too.“

And then the Haleakala filet mignon, once again perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned and topped with compound butter that was melted at table side with rosemary. (It feels like we are saying perfect too much! But we do mean it!) Then to end the evening celebration with our chocolate lava cake surrounded by white and milk chocolate fondue with banana bread and fresh fruits was simply scrumptious! Chef Junior Ulep, Mahalo for our special night, with our deepest grateful hearts, we appreciate your mana and the joyfulness in which you have chosen to feed us and our fellow patrons at Kula Lodge Restaurant!“

“We ordered two breakfast sandwiches, one Spam, egg, and cheese, and the other Portuguese saugage(linguica), egg, and cheese. They both had great flavor, and were a decent portion, for a good price! The two sandwiches cost us less than one cost at a different breakfast spot we went to previously. The restaurant itself isn't very updated, but don't let that fool you!“
