“I specially went to Aloha Island Manapua bc I saw online that they make the fried ginger chicken plate on rice. I will say that they’re is better than Island Manapua in Manoa. Manoa’s was extra salty. The Waipahu location also gives more chicken & rice for $15 something. Their ginger onion sauce was dry and not liquidy and was heavy on the green onions, less ginger. Kinda weird ratio of ingredients. See from the photos.“

“If you're looking for some roast pork, chicken or duck come here. It's a pick up and go place so don't expect a place to sit unless you find some outside in the plaza. If you're looking for simple, great tasting roasted meat on rice or crispy noodles this is the place. It's simple and delicious. The menu isn't extensive. Other than those roasted meats there's also ginger chicken that I particular love.
The cost of the food here is a great value as well. Each plate I got was enough to feed 2 or 3 people. I would recommend getting a mix of the meats and share. It was all good.“

“The food was so good and really hit the spot. Husband ordered the black garlic oil tantan ramen and I had a combo meal of egg drop soup, gyoza, and chicken katsu curry rice. We especially loved the ramen because of how strong the garlic flavor is.
Service was great, it wasn't busy so we got seated immediately and after ordering the food came out pretty fast. The servers were nice and polite as well.“

“Ordered their roast pork and char sui. It is the best! They do run out so it is best to call before heading out in the afternoon; especially on the weekend. (Learned the hardway...picked up after lunch and decided to get more. It was about 3pm - ran out! Maybe had a big take out order?)
There can be a long line and only one person who chops the meat up.“

“We finally tried Ten Seconds Yunnan Rice Noodles at Pearlridge Mall, and OMG… the original pork bone soup was SO good! 🤤 The broth was flavorful and comforting, definitely one of my favorites.
We also ordered the mixed rice noodles with pig cutlet and pig’s ear, and everything was really good. We also got some dim sum on the side and honestly, we loved everything we ordered!
The place was clean, the service was awesome, and everyone was so friendly and lovely. They were very welcoming, which made the whole experience even better.
This was definitely a pleasant surprise. I didn’t really know what to expect going in, but we ended up enjoying everything. If you like noodles, flavorful soups, and trying something a little different, definitely give this place a try!

“The food here had large portions with lots of different options. The food was okay. I got the shaka house ramen, it was spicy but that was about it for flavor, the actual broth was pretty bland and didn't stand out. The steak that is was served with was good though. It was busy when we went it was around 6:30 pm. When we were waiting for our food there was a strong crusty smell in the restaurant, me and my friends couldn't figure out what is was and it did kinda make the atmosphere unpleasant. The waitress did take a while to get to our table to take our order, and we had no idea we needed to go up to the counter to pay. Overall I would kinda recommend, only if you want big portions and mildy good tasting food.“

“Fantastic experience, the broth (we got Tonkatsu but they have nine other types) was amazing and roiling hot out of the kitchen. It's nice to be able to pick what goes into your ramen as often time at other restaurants there's always something that I'm not too big a fan of, or nothing enough of something I like. The sever was attentive and wonderfully friendly. After a tasty hot meal you get to cool down with a free shave ice dessert (with Ramen purchase) which, like everything else, was delicious. My partner got the thai tea and said it was great. For the price and the customization options, I can't recommend it enough.“

“This place has been fueling potlucks, dinners for my family for decades and my new lunch addiction since I got back. I appreciate that they got rid of the number system and since Covid the crowds have gone down big time so everytime it's smooth sailing. Da aunties behind the counter always hook it up with big portions as always whether it's the new bowl or plate etc. While I admit I miss the furikake fried rice and the fact that spicy garlic and minit chicken is not always available and is now made to order only I do appreciate the transparency and relatively fast speed that it does come out as I can't leave without it. Also for someone who's been here forever I can't for the life of me think of why I didn't try the gau gee sooner as this is the bomb and for the price one of the best I had easily! One of the few places that refuses to change and for that will always be in my mind for all occasions!“

“Went here because they serve roast duck, roast pork , oyster sauce chicken and cake noodles. Ordered the oyster sauce chicken over cake noodles and sie yuk Chinese roast pork. I was not disappointed. Good portions. Good taste. Fast and friendly service. This place has been here since the 20th century. A mainstay of pearl highlands.“

“It's rare to find a place so cheap and yet so delicious! I was dropping off my old man and found out about a unicorn in today's economy a solid breakfast, plate lunch or bento all 20 bucks or less. Now okazuyas been my jam since baby days but this place takes the cake. I got the shock and awe breakfast for 5 DOLLARS! And I'll happily say it again for the people in the back. For 2 eggs a solid set of meat and rice I can't complain. I love my set scrambled and they did it quite well. Outside of the cash only part which id definitely forget going again (which I understand why) its a perfect place for your pre work meal or even during! It boggles me how this place was hated on.“

“Gr8 place for an inexpensive lunch. Food was 👍, but the spicy pork wasn't that spicy. My dinner place was awesome. Kauyuk had the perfect amount of 5-spice. They were generous w a whole bowl of sweet sour spare rib sauce when I asked for some. Took off 1 star for atmosphere bc they desperately need new benches; even the duct tape is worn out.“

“This is by far the best Chinese place I have ever had......in the world!!! The level of actual flavor and flakininess to the chicken and fish is absolutely incredible. I have never had fish with so much flavor amd not too much oil and no fish taste at all, which was unique. The staff was friendly and it was a peaceful environment! “Typical Panda Express in a small strip of shops next to Walmart. Strip parking is usually available but walmart lot neighbors with lots of parking. Love the super greens option as a base. Kung pao chicken and broccoli beef are always great. It would be nice to get the brown rice back.“

“I’m actually in Panda Express Mililani & wanted to share my experience before I forget. I came in tonight at a very slow time there was not a whole lot of each food left as it was after the dinner rush. I ordered two plates & a bowl some of my order had to be cooked which is fine I’ve been coming here for a while. But what stood out to me was the worker one in particular Gil he was very welcoming & pleasant. As I was waiting he asked if I wanted some water while I waited. All while keeping me updated on the status of my food. He was such a bright spot in the night. Keep up the great work Gil I appreciate your kindness & professionalism!“

“Best to order online or through their app and pick up in-store of via drive thru. Avoid the long lines that accummulate around any meal hour. Service is pretty quick and the ambiance is just the spot for a family night out. Lots of parking, indoor and outdoor seating. Would recommend!“

“We’re visiting from California — where Panda Express originally started — and we’ve got to say, we’ve never seen a location this clean and with such a hard-working crew. The restaurant was spotless, the food was fresh and hot, and the friendly service made the experience even better.
Kyla truly went above and beyond. She was not only incredibly kind and welcoming, but also one of the most hard-working team members we’ve ever seen. She made our visit extra special, and it’s people like her that turn a quick meal into a great memory.

“Always hit the spot. I tend to stay away from the rice it's not good to me, but the chow mein a great. Orange Chicken is usually cooked pretty recently, and beef broccoli is very good. Rangoon and spring rolls are as well. I stay away from the chicken teriyaki because the thighs always seem to have a weird texture, and the sauce sucks(just a Panda Express problem and just a personal preference)
They are always nice and give more generous portions than other locations usually.“
