“We went to rolling wok in Grimes for lunch today and left with leftovers for dinner to!!! The food was so delicious, he had pad Thai (top) and I had Pad See Ew. We both got medium spice level, and it was just the perfect level for me bc I'm a wimp when it comes to spicy. The atmosphere is so warm and inviting, the staff was amazing, friendly and informative. She kept our glasses full and checked on us. We will definitely go back; it's our new favorite Chinese restaurant ❣️❣️❣️❣️“

“Our wedding cake from Crème was absolutely perfect! Not only was it beautifully made and exactly what we envisioned, but it also tasted incredible. We went with a two-tiered cake, and both flavors were a huge hit—our guests couldn’t stop talking about how good it was!

Sammy at Crème was so easy to work with throughout the entire process. She was helpful, responsive, and really took the time to understand what we wanted. The final result was elegant, delicious, and everything we hoped it would be.

“This is our first time here and it was amazing! The atmosphere is straight out of the 80s/90s and being a GenX it was awesome! Even the menu was a flash back to the past. The food was phenomenal! Their breakfast potatoes were to die for and I don’t do hash browns usually. Chelsey S was a top of the line server. The only minor complaint was the hostess didn’t know if they served Pepsi or Coke products. Just seemed odd her not knowing. I would hands down recommend this for a breakfast place.“

“I want to give a shout out to Early Birds restaurant in West Des Moines. Kevin was a fantastic bartender. First time I have been here. The food was amazing. I love the atmosphere. The whole concept is great. The menu… too many things to choose from. I got the Cinnamon roll French toast. Delicious. And the Hashbrown holes delicious. It was great to get an appetizer before my French toast. I have to give a shout out to Kevin as he knows everything on the menu plus he has great suggestions for drinks from the bar! Will deffinately be going back again.“

When I’ve been in the store (Urbandale), it’s been clean and organized with friendly staff present. The menu items I’ve ordered (mostly poultry) has been great! “My husband and I wanted to try a new breakfast place. We heard about Breakfast Club and decided to try the West Des Moines location. Parking was convenient. We were greeted with a smile and seated immediately. Fun atmosphere, great food and coffee selection! Our waitress Maddie gave us tips on the menu and was very friendly and attentive. We definitely want to go back and try something else off the menu! We plan to make this place our go to!!“

Our friends took us here several years ago and we really enjoyed the experience...finally getting the chance to return and found it just as impressive.

We started with drinks, including a Bloody Mary with Mezcal (see picture) and an After Midnight - both quite tasty. We then ordered Collective Wings (see picture) as an appetizer and found them so delicious that we were tempted to order more of them for our meal.

For our dinner, my wife ordered the Cubano (see picture) and I opted for the Squash Risotto (see picture). As we always do, we shared tastes of each both of us thought that both meals were good enough to order again and recommend.

A great place to eat towards the north end of the Valley Junction 'Strip' with an amazing atmosphere and fantastic service.

I recently also had them cater a Saturday lunch at work for us and they knocked it out of the park! Eddie is a phenomenal asset to this restaurant. Always friendly and helpful. “One of our local favorites! Discovered Fresh this summer and it’s a regular in our rotation now. Food is reliably delicious, reasonably priced with generous portion, and service is always friendly and quick. The patio is nice in good weather, and actually pretty quiet for being right along Hickman. I also ordered a family meal with a side of falafel for a group dinner I hosted last night - says feeds 4-5, but our group of 6 had plenty to eat plus we have leftovers that will last my husband and I several days. A great deal and mix of food to meet multiple dietary preferences. Highly recommend checking them out!“

“The food at Monterrey tastes good, and the service is certainly decent enough. The restaurant, like many chain Mexican restaurants, goes a bit over the top with 'decorations' that are just a little too stereotyped.

I got the chicken fajita this evening, and while good, the amount of chicken in the mix was a bit low. I understand that it's the most expensive part of the meal, but there are several other Mexican places in town that have fajitas for the same price, or even cheaper, and that regularly give notably more chicken than they did.

Overall, while tasty, I felt the food was a bit expensive given how little meat was actually in the fajita mix.“

They have convenient lists of every juice/smoothie ingredient, and even some helpful advice about what kinds of smoothies different levels of health enthusiast will appreciate. Cory, the owner, was kind, accommodating, and efficient. The drinks came quick, too - I’m used to Whole Foods wait time. If you’re in Des Moines and you like healthy juice, go out of your way to visit. (The 4-stars for atmosphere was only because there were some boxes kind of piled next to the counter. Definitely not a problem)“

Had a bunch of different appetizers (portobello fries, roasted Brussels sprouts, pretzels with beer cheese, pub salad) and beignets for dessert, all of which were delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the bartender in particular was very knowledgeable about all the different breweries, styles and particular beers. The space was clean and comfortable.
