The floors near some tables near the walls weren’t much better.Fortunately, the sandwich I got - the Turkey Bacon Ranch - tasted good. “DoorDashed messed up my order, and Nick L’s too. He dropped off Nicks order and gave me a terrible time about rectifying the issue. I went through DoorDash for a replacement order. When my order arrives, not only was it correct, fresh and exact what I wanted but they gave me a FREE cookie (my favorite) to make up for the Dasher’s mistake. This act of kindness makes a difference in people’s days. Thank you!

“Still one of my fave sammich places around town. #13 Italian “Mike’s Way”. Not pictured, #4, 7 and 11. All excellent, service was friendly and nice. Wish they had arrows, truth be told, as it’s confusing where to walk and stand but oh well. “Stopped by Firehouse Subs and ordered the Roasted Turkey sandwich, and it was amazing! 🥪🔥 The turkey was fresh and flavorful, the bread was perfectly toasted, and everything tasted really well put together. You can definitely tell they care about the quality of their food.

“Wanted to wait until I visited this new location at least four times before giving an honest review. Well, after four visits are not completed, I will say that the staff and owner of this place are doing things the right way! I used to be a subway and Jimmy Johns customer, but after visiting this location multiple times, I am now a Jersey Mike's customer. The owner is really outgoing and easy to talk to, making things more relaxing once the order is being processed. The staff that prepares the food are friendly also, and they aim to please as much as possible (within reason). The sandwiches are built with care, not sloppily put together like other establishments I have visited. The facility is clean, and safety making the sandwiches is always practiced. They are also very efficient getting the order processed in a timely manner. For the near future, this will be my "To-go" place for fast food. Thank you!“

“Food good, staff is nice not too much lines, highly say with there fast workers it's good food to go or stay, love how they make my sandwich which I can include onions yum!

Vegetarian options: They got any choice which you can reject the meats on some, highly love but but they also have all mixs so I'd say to try this!

Kid-friendliness: Very much loved the space, and plenty of room for kids to roam and to keep eyes on, very warm on cold days and very cool on hot, I say go for it!

Wheelchair accessibility: Yes plenty of room and very much safe for use, though the doors are nit the staff will often help and the smiles show such human passion!“

“This is the first time in a very long time I’ve had exceptional service at this subway. The staff was friendly, my sandwich looks great, and they just all around looked like they loved their jobs which is so refreshing to see at this location. The man making my sandwich was dancing and singing and just made the environment friendlier than I’ve ever experienced. Not sure if it’s helpful, but one man was bald and one had locs, they both were very friendly. This experience gave me hope in this location again :)“

“Kevin was fantastic tonight but he was the only staff who was working. I am not sure what happened but a staff member should never be alone especially during a rush. Kevin was quick paced and kind as he got everyones orders made. Jimmy Johns this is unacceptable. Other locations should jump in to help and send team members as customers were waiting over 30 minutes for their orders. The low stars are not due to Kevin as he was great. They are due to leaving a staff member alone without proper help.“

“I've been frequenting this Subway more often these days. This is one of my Go-To Subways.
I have tried Subways at quite a few places in Des Moines.
And, I can say - by far - this is the bets of the lot - both in terms of service and quality of food.

The staff is amazing. All of them do a wonderful job.
Rohin (or Arun) - He has been the one who takes care of my order most of the times. Very nice person, humble, with a great attitude, great listener and customer focused.
Jen - She is an amazing woman. Pleasant attitude, very attentive.
Rocky - He is another wonderful staff. Great service and nice friendly attitude.

Being a vegetarian, my options are limited. But, the staff makes sure that their hands are clean and washed and they take proper care of my dietary needs.

And, Rajesh - he is the owner and manages this outlet quite well.

The interior is clean all the time. The Bread and cookies are always fresh.
