There is a reason why so many people use their company for catering such big events! The food was amazing and their staff did an excellent job!“

“Visited this restaurant for the first time on 9/16/2024 and found it very good in every way. We were seated fairly quickly and given menus and put in drink orders right away. Had the grilled cheese and tomato bisque combo = great choice. The sandwich had cheddar cheese, applewood smoked bacon and tomatoes on whole grain bread, totally delicious, and the soup was good, too. Others in the party had the Baja Tilapia Tacos, the chicken tender salad, and a burger. Everyone was very pleased and our server was very attentive.“

“My wife and I had a short trip to Dubuque last week and stayed at the Hotel Julien. We opted to treat ourselves to dinner at Caroline's our last night in town, and I'm so glad we did. I got the Scottish salmon filet with risotto and green beans, and my wife got the chicken and sausage penne. Now, let me tell you, the food was truly phenomenal. I'd give everything an all-around 9.8/10 - the only "issue" we had with anything was that the pasta was the slightest bit overcooked for our liking, but it wasn't enough to be a "send it back" problem. My salmon was perfectly cooked and moist, and the pesto on top was incredible, While the food was excellent, however, the real star of the night was our server Thomas. He was extremely knowledgeable about everything on the menu, was highly attentive without being pushy or annoying, and was just overall an extremely kind and seemed to genuinely care that our experience was the best it could be. Whomever at Caroline's PR team sees this, please make sure Thomas knows that it truly was his service that made our night so memorable and perfect!“

“We were en route and we improvised going in for breakfast. In some review I read: if you are not local they look at you. Well, yes, it happened and we loved it ;-) Very good "two for you" and very good attention in explaining everything patiently and naturally. A very authentic place.“

“Fast service, good drinks, and good tasting food. I'd recommend stopping here for your city brewery experience. We were surprised the burgers were kind of 'plain' for the price. The Genesis burger was good but it's just a burger patty, two pieces of bacon, and a mix of sauce on a simple bun, for $18 with fries.
We didn't have the opportunity to taste any beer because we drove through and this was our dinner stop but the Brown Cow drink and one of the mocktails were very good.

“My family and I stopped here on vacation. The service was great and we loved the atmosphere. Husband loves to go to different breweries when on vacation and he was very impressed with this one. We'll definitely stop here again. Galena is such a cute town with great shopping and dining.“

“Wasn't crowded for 7pm on a Saturday night. Service was friendly but took 15-20 minutes to get a glass of wine after we ordered. Sea bass was very good. Shrimp and crab carbonara was average at best. We have been here before and loved it! No so much this time.“
