“My sister and I enjoyed a Friday Fish Fry Dinner on 4/11/2025, before a show at the Rialto. We were quite impressed by the Freshness, Crispyness, and wonderful taste of everything. The Fries are fresh cut. The Cod Fish was so fresh and seasoned well. Our server was AMAZING, Friendly, and prompt. It was our first time there, but I will definitely be back.”

The staff made us feel very welcome and taken care of the entire night. They added little cute touches like our picture on the menu that made it feel special and their new space is really modern and perfect for events. We highly recommend this restaurant for special occasions or just a nice dinner out. We have been coming here with our family the last few years and it is an amazing gem in Joliet.”

Well tonight I had the normal honor of sitting at the bar because I’m a traveler for work but tonight was different! I met a wonderful bartender named Taylor. She’s is amazing with a wonderful attitude and gifted ability to produce a common midwestern drink but different! As if you could make an Old Fashioned different and better.. well challenge accepted Taylor said, and did she deliver well heck yeah! Stop by and see Taylor (otherwise known as the girl with blue hair) psss there’s a story there too but she doesn’t have blue hair anymore..”

“This is one of the last well-kept, fresh smelling sandwich shops left in this area. There are no hidden, upnocious, reoccurring woofing odors that hinder nor gives one pause whether they may be chancing food-borne illnesses or not. In fact, most toppings are so freshly, separately identifiable, until it's simply a pleasure to take your time ordering your food... but beware of the other customers who don't have the heightened sensories or don't take the time to slow down and notice simple pleasures as such.”

“Wow, I just want to say WONDERFUL customer service. I walked in 130pm 9/12 & was greeted by employees working. Ordered my husbands usual chicken bacon ranch flatbread with a peanut paradise. I normally get the chicken pesto flatbread but this time I went off and tried the Thai chicken salad. SO GOOD! I also get the peanut paradise and it’s the best. The nice man that was there.. wish I got his name but he took the time to ask how my day has been going, was so enthusiastic to taking my order it was very refreshing. I had the steak sandwich, which was excellent. The bread was soft and fresh, but still a bit crusty like a quality bread will have.

I ordered the chicken nuggets just to try them! They were good, did not disappoint.

Didn't order shakes or Mozzarella sticks, but will definitely be back to try

Leading up I knew one of our wedding party members has Celiac so when I saw the GF pizza i knew there was a chance! I called in and spoke to a team member in the catering side and the minute I mentioned Celiac she answered all of the prepared questions without me having to ask. We ordered Cemeno's to be delivered to my parents house for the rehearsal dinner. Not only was it right on time but the pizzas were hot and the GF one was in its own box. Obviously, the regular pizzas were amazing as usual but it was so good to hear from my friend that not only was the GF pizza delicious but she was not "glutened". Very happy to say I can highly recommend Cemeno's to all including those with celiac disease.”

“I placed an order for a jumbo cheese dog and fries and had to wait in the drive thru line over 30 minutes. They said they had a system issue but after reading the reviews I doubt that's the case. I got in line at 6:59 and placed my order it's now 7:33 and I just got the bag. I can't move anywhere because nobody else has their food so I have to sit here and wait. This is absolutely ridiculous. I ordered a jumbo cheese dog with tomato and pickle only and a large fry. I open the bag there's a cup in there with a tomato and pickle in it and a cup of cheese missing my hot dog and my fries. It's now 7:37 and I'm still waiting and my order is incorrect. Who just orders a cup of cheese and a pickle and a tomato. I left there at 8:03 finally with my hot dog and fries”
