“I worked for Francesca’s, the Italian restaurant, for over 12 years and loved the food there. When I ate I Sonny’s, I told the owner that the chopped salad and pasta that I had at Sonny’s was better than Francesca’s 100%. The dressing on the salad was unmatched, and the bolognese sauce had such depth to it, it was insane. Thanks Sonny’s!!“

“After a week of travel for this Mom, the last thing I wanted to do was to make dinner. This isn't the first time we've been to Glen Prairie and I knew it was just the place I wanted to go. The atmosphere is warm, but quiet. Perfect for a good family catchup. The food is comforting without being too heavy and the wine, beer and cocktail selection is the perfect pairing. We've had the pleasure of being served by Anna a few times now and she does a great job. She is attentive and watchful, without being overbearing which is a difficult skill to master for a lot of servers. Aside from that, I love that it is a safe place for folks with food allergies and I feel very well taken care of in respect to that issue. I can tell that everyone from the hosts to the servers to the bartenders to the kitchen staff are very well trained in creating a safe and welcoming experience for each guest. Glen Prairie is quickly becoming one of our go to family favorite restaurants and we will definitely be back!“

“What an excellent eating experience!! The waiter was friendly and seemed to anticipate our requests. It was my first time in a Korean restaurant and I was glad that my son accompanied me and explained the various foods and choices. It was SO comfortable and enjoyable! The food was AMAZING! “GrubHub left me hanging and cancelled my order without any meaningful explanation. Since I was still hungry and wanted dinner, I called the store directly. Boy am I glad I did! The manager took my call and commiserated with me a bit and suggested that I place my order directly with them via their website. Since I am just across the parking lot and can't leave my location (I was running out of time for my lunch), he graciously offered to run my order to me personally. JC showed up a matter of minutes later with my extremely tasty food and a smile!. I love their Lobster Bisque soup and mine was still nice and hot. Bonus... While on the website, I registered for the Cafe Zupas loyalty program and got a Free beverage! And, even though I have a discount on GH from my Amazon Prime account, my bill was nearly $8 cheaper! Overall, my experience today with Cafe Zupas Schaumburg has been stellar and I'll be ordering from them (directly, no more GrubHub) frequently and encouraging my coworkers and clients to do the same. Now where is that chocolate covered strawberry for my dessert. Yummy!“

“I was on a soft diet for that diet and I thought of Olive Garden. I place a take out order because i had just left the hospital. I got there they was closed. I was willing to wait and i am glad i did. The food was great, Customer service meet my expectation. Branden was very friendly and professional. He is an asset to the company. I had not been to Olive Garden since you guys moved. I enjoyed my food. Hat off to the cooks. I will return very soon.“

“What makes this place really special is the person behind the food. Chef Auna runs the kitchen herself, cooking with recipes passed down from her mother. She's serious about quality, she crushes her own chili peppers, uses no MSG, and makes sure everything tastes fresh. You can genuinely taste the care in every single bite.

“It's hand down one of the best diners around state. Friendly atmosphere, great food and this Hash Skillet is the BOMB. Don't forget to also include a Sunrise Smoothie to your meals, makes the day feel so much better.

“This was probably my first or maybe second time at Olive Garden? I always thought of Olive Garden as a basic restaurant, but now in my mid-30s and a self proclaimed foodie—I think I finally understand the appeal of Olive Garden. It’s not that it’s trendy or fine dining, but it’s that they’re just consistently good. I’m not saying this was the best meal I ever had, but everything was seasoned perfectly, the soup was nice and hot, and the pastas were cooked al dente with good flavors. The value was ridiculously good in this economy—2 drinks and 2 entrees (w/unlimited soup, salad, breadsticks) ran us ~$60 and we packed leftovers enough to last 1 or 2 more meals. Buying Taco Bell for 2 runs close to $40 now and here you have a full blown dining experience with sooo much food. They even offer a $6 pasta to go if you buy an entree, and all their mixed drinks were under $10—you really can’t find that anywhere in the Chicagoland area except a dive bar lol. The value just doesn’t end. Beyond the decent food, the factor that made our visit 5 stars was unequivocally our waiter Jay G. He was extremely kind, patient, and attentive. He should be the model of those in service industry. Thank you, Jay, for making our dinner experience so enjoyable. Your kindness brightened our day!“

“This restaurant is tucked in a massive, mostly empty building near an Asian grocery store. It gives the vibes of Beijing post 2008 Paralympics when all of a sudden no one made things look good for westerners. It’s cash only.
Despite appearances, this is the most authentic Chinese food I’ve had since I was in China in college! My husband and I went back multiple times while we were in town. It was great each time. They have an extensive menu so given that it’s not a bustling place, I’m not sure if the more eclectic dishes are super fresh. But again, you’re getting authentic cuisine and that’s sometimes part of it!
The jiao zi are amazing! The portion sizes are great for the price. You can’t get them in this amount or for the cost anywhere else in the Hinsdale or Oakbrook Terrace areas. Definitely recommend!
Vegetarian options: They have a vegetarian option for potstickers, dumplings, 2 tofu dishes, and sautéed mixed veggies. They may be able to make other vegetation dishes upon request.
Parking: Parking in front of the restaurant is full up front but the lot itself is quite large. We did not struggle to find a place to park
Kid-friendliness: The building is a wide open floor plan with tables to accommodate families & groups. If a toddler needed to run, there’s lots of space to do that away from others eating. The bathroom, however, would pose a challenge for diaper changes. This building is so massive though that a nursing mom or a diaper changing dad could tuck away in one of the corners and have more privacy than a changing table in a multi stall bathroom. It’s dimly lit on the outer room edges away from the restaurants.
Wheelchair accessibility: It’s all one floor. There are double doors to go through that may not have an operational hands-free opener. The floor layout has multiple tables with chairs and a free wider, open sections to get to the restaurant counter to order“

“I was down the Street picking up at load at a Warehouse, got hungry and decided to check this place out, mind you we don’t have this in Rockford. “Love the selection of food. Everything is always tasty and food is consistent in freshness and flavor. Lunch and dinner is a great time to go. The morning rush moves too slow with long lines and minimal cashiers. Try using the kiosk in the morning. That may move faster.“

“I like to do the pick 2. I love their Autumn Squash soup, Cream of chicken and wild rice soup, and Broccoli cheddar soup. I pair it with the Turkey Bravo sandwich or Strawberry Poppyseed salad (Seasonal.) I tried the Creme Brulee Iced Latte today and it was good. It wasn't too sweet. I also enjoy their iced green tea flavors and frozen mocha drinks. The one is Glen Ellyn was super busy today and we had to wait awhile for our food. It's best to order ahead of you're getting it to go.“

“I enjoy this Panera better than others. I had a huge issue at another location. Food wise at the Bloomingdale location, they do a good job on my custom orders. The building is clean (haven’t been to the bathroom yet) and the staff are nice. Just a little consistent wipe down on the monitors will do. Please bring back the grains (the protein substitute).“
