“I met former coworkers for dinner here and was my first time dining at this location. Our waitress Alane was fantastic and the manager Rob even stopped by to check on everything. We had appetizers, main courses and desserts. It was all fantastic! Alane made sure waters were filled regularly and other drinks were refilled promptly. The restaurant was busy, but felt cozy at the same time. We were seated in a booth and was absolutely perfect.”

“We just finished celebrating our daughter's college graduation at the Cooper's Hawk in Algonquin. I cannot say enough about the awesome experience we had. Starting with Angelina handling all the details to the planning of the event, to the room being set up just perfect; to Joel and Natalie who were the absolute best servers we could have had; to the delicious food (OMG the salmon) and dessert that was served; and of course, not to mention the wonderful wine tasting bar. All our guests were so impressed! Thank you, Cooper's Hawk, for taking such good care of us. You made our celebration one we will remember.”

“The lighting was way too bright, especially those high beam lights at the high top tables in the bar area. If you dimmed those and overall in the restaurant it would be a much better ambiance. The food was amazing, the choice of drinks and wine fantastic and service was great.”

It was my birthday and I wanted to get a free cookie from crumbl, not knowing that you need the app, I asked the lady working and she said you need the app to get a free cookie, so I told her oh I don't have the app, she gave me a free cookie anyway! Service is amazing at this crumbl and always has been!”

“What a great place with wonderful cocktails, a large and varied menu and a happy vibe. Christian, our server answered our many questions about the food and emboldened us to try selections we’d never had before! I loved the charbroiled skirt steak, ceviche, those pork appetizers I’ve never heard of, and my frozen strawberry margaritas. Others at the table had enchiladas, tamales, sangria and beer. Christian kept it all coming. He made sure to tell us about upcoming events such as taco Tuesdays and live music, including mariachi bands. Oh, sign me up! It also appeared to be family friendly. It’s a large space with plenty so we could have a conversation with our friends. The outdoor seating area looked nice, too, but we dined in the bar. A fantastic experience.”

The appetizers were delicious. The drinks were amazing. Our server was never too far a very joyful and happy server.

“Went there on a Thursday night and it was surprisingly busy. We had a party of 8 people, we called ahead of time, but they said that we didn’t need to make a reservation. I like that the online option to make a reservation. There was not wait upon arrival, just time to set up table. Food was excellent, I didn’t really know what to expect since it was our first time dining there but I loved the bread and oil with Parmesan sauce. We ordered calamari and my kids loved it. I ended up getting an egg pant parmesan and it was super good! I will say that the portion sizes are huge! The only reason why I didn’t give a full 5 star rating was because our server was very nice, but he kept on forgetting about us. The rest of the staff was treat really friendly, we will definitely go back.”

“We celebrated our 27th Anniversary tonight at Port Edward with dinner on the boat. I grew up going here as a kid and had not been there for 30 years. It was as amazing as it has always been and exceeded my expectations with the fantastic service from April and the kindness of a sweet woman who had worked there for 50 years named Cynthia. They went above and beyond to make sure our night was one to never forget and all of the food was delicious. I highly recommend to everyone to come and enjoy this experience for yourself! I wish there were more people like her not only in the service industry, but also I wish there were more people like her in this world. Dave’s, if you have an employee of the month, a plaque of some kind, a raise, or a scholarship, Morgan deserves that and more! I work in the service industry myself and it’s not easy, you definitely come across people who are hard to get along with. Even though most of the time people are trying their best. If anyone ever has something negative to say about this store or Morgan, it will be the guests' who is in the wrong, not Morgan’s! I can’t wait to come back and hopefully see her again the next time I order here!”

“We were driving thru IL and I found this taco place on my drive. Decided to give it a try. Ended up getting steak, chicken and pork tacos to try. I would rate my favorite in the order. I would come again if I passing thru. Some places in the past have a little station with onions, pico, etc. Be nice to have that. That’s my only complains.”

“Delicious! Fast and friendly service. I prefer their chicken and beef over any of their fried selections like sesame chicken, but the freshness of the food is always on point. I love the Mongolian beef and any of the fried rice (though the specialty rice with all the proteins in it is my fave) and my husband loves the moo shu beef and the straw mushroom chicken. We also enjoy sharing the garlic chicken which is probably my overall fave on the menu. The egg rolls are also my absolute favorite and I order them every time. The peanut sauce makes them so perfect and savory.”

My husband and I have been on a mission to find the best, authentic Mexican food in the Algonquin area. We, along with our friends and family, agree that this place is it! And we also love that they’re closed on Sundays.”

“We typically use the drive thru. We like your food, always fresh and tasty. Tonight I had the chicken avocado and strawberry salad. The salad was fresh, walnuts were sweet and crispy, dressing was very creamy. The only criticism I have is my chicken avocado and strawberry salad had no avocados. I do understand sometimes you can run out of ingredients or supply chain issues can interfere with menus. I would just ask to have this made known to us upon ordering or upon discovery, all in the interest of good customer service that you usually do deliver.”

“born and raised in chicago which obv has some of the best chinese food. that being said, when i tried this place yesterday i was blown away actually lol. the chicken pad thai was some of the best i’ve ever had. such a good portion and sooo fresh. the crab rangoon was also amazing! had the perfect amount of filling and wasn’t overly breaded/crispy.
i will deff be coming here more often since i’m living near by and am super impressed with the quality! ❤️”

We are seniors and usually order the Choose 2 off the menu which is just enough for a good lunch choice...a half sandwich and a cup of soup. “I went today and this was by far the best experience I’ve had at a Dunkin! The gentlemen working was very kind and worked quickly. He made the best oat milk shaken espresso I’ve had and filled it with a very appropriate amount of ice which I really appreciate (other Dunkins always fill it to the brim with ice, leaving very little room for the actual drink). Highly recommend.”

“This is by far the best Starbucks in the area bar none . Everyone from the top management to the baristas are kind, friendly, caring and efficient. I’ve never had an attitude from any of them no matter how complicated my beverage order is. They keep the place clean and safe also. Unfortunately, the Starbucks in Algonquin by the movie theater, and also the one on Randall by Kohl’s has some of the rudest employees. In fact, the one by Kohl’s mopped the floors without squeezing out the mop and there were large puddles of soapy water all over, and I almost fell, even though I was walking extremely slowly. Putting a sign down does not excuse them from liability, but they didn’t seem to care at all about me, or anyone for that matter , and when I expressed my concern that someone can fall, they just rolled their eyes up at me. I am grateful that the Starbucks closest to my home on Algonquin Road and Ryan is Friendly professional and efficient unlike the other ones.”
